Just wanted to share my feelings about this. But I recently wanted to play Bloodborne so I took my ps4 out of storage and dusted it off. I have the Destiny The Taken King base ps4 model and for those of you who might not remember what it looks like:

[Personally it’s one of the best limited edition designs they’ve done.](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71GVZvCMkKL.jpg)

And for the last 3 years I’ve really gotten into the xbox ecosystem. Don’t get me wrong, I do love team green and what they have to offer, but for the last few weeks I’ve kinda been getting burnt out on it. For one GP is great but there’s so much to choose from. Starfield was this big thing but honestly after playing it, it just made me wanna go back and play Fallout 4. And I grew up with Halo. It’s an awesome franchise but rebooting the MCC or Halo Infinite, I realized that it’s just a shell of what it once was.

When I booted up the PS4, there was a sense of comfort like when you get home from a long vacation. The layout was familiar. I was surprised how well it still looks and feels.

I know the console wars are BS and who knows, maybe in 3 years I’ll go back to team green. I’m already looking into getting a used PS4 pro because a lot of games like TLOU Pt2 and GOW Ragnarök were still released on that gen. My spouse has been wanted to try gaming now and so i game her the PS4 up above and hell I can get 2 more ps4’s for me and my kid and we can all play games together on our own screens.

The PS5 I’m not too interested in getting atm and there’s no way I can validate to my spouse to drop $500 on one. But I see the PS4 Pro is around 200 on GameStop which is a steal! The only exclusive I would want to play is FFXVI but I’ll just wait for it to get ported to PC since mine has a 3070 in it already.

I wanna ask, has anyone ever felt that way with move consoles? I know many people left the Sony ecosystem around 2020-2021 due to the shortages and many saw the move to XBX worth it at the time. Are you still rocking your PS4?

    Share.
