Hi everyone, I have been tasked with selling an old Xbox One Model 1540. My dad was one of the developers who worked on it originally so it is the Launch Team 2013 edition and it says I MADE THIS on it, plus the white controller with the same design. I read an article there are supposedly only 3000 of these out there. We also have the headset (untouched) and Kinect camera thing too.
It was sitting in a box for a long time so it was dirty and dusty but I was able to clear most of it off. We used it for a little bit but mostly for other applications, not gaming. The games might have some play on them but nothing that couldn’t be cleared (Dead Rising 3 is unopened). That being said, we were able to connect to it recently and reset it and remove our data so we know the console works.
My dad just wants it gone and I’m happy to get rid of it for cheap, but I also don’t want to make a stupid decision if this is worth something and I should be selling for more. Given that it’s a little dirty I worry it isn’t in the most pristine shape, and it’s not really a new model either. Just seeking if this is worth pursuing and if there’s any real value in this!
