So I’ve been buying and selling consoles and games for a while. I’ve always just used the controllers for a few hours on an intense shooter game to test them. Recently had a customer inform me one of my controllers had drift and I figured my testing strategy is lacking..maybe the game I played had a deadzone which totally hid any drift.

This is a pretty much brand new controller. Plays good…and this is the worst reading I could make it get in this controller tester app with deadzone at 0. Is this normal? What is an acceptible range here if you’re buying a good used controller? I have some that play my games fine but are reading up to 11% and 12% here.

    Any advice appreciated.
