so today i installed a couple mods for Minecraft on my little brothers xbox one s. One of the last steps to installing the mods requires you to install a kind of hidden version of Minecraft (navigationally hidden in the store). after installing that version, it prompts you with an update for Minecraft with is the last step to installing the mods. after accepting the prompt & clicking update, the installation kept pausing instantly after clicking resuming. it turns out it was just a bug & recently there had been a new xbox update that patches that. after installing the update, the installation gets stuck at 4KB out of 1.82 GB. no matter what i do, i cannot cancel the installation nor pause it. when i tell you that i’ve tried everything, i mean i have tried absolutely everything to fix this. here’s a little list i made

    LIST:

•turning off and on xbox + normal reset + hard rest
(turning off xbox & unplugging for 5 minutes)

    •clearing mac address

    •forgetting network & re-establishing connection

    •resetting router

•installing the normal version of Minecraft (which doesn’t even show up or change anything)

•signing out & back into the account

    •trying other accounts

a weird side effect is that the Minecraft icon has a weird vertical white line that changes changes to an angle line with dots after navigating to a different app (as shown in this post). i’m scared i have somehow permanently glitched this xbox. i really want to avoid a factory rest as it’ll take too much time having to reinstall the apps. can anyone please help
