Hello r/NintendoSwitch . I’m indie game developer based in Norway, and a few years ago, I started to make a video game, with no prior experience or relevant background. Being a fan of LucasArts point-and-click games from the 90s, I combined this classic genre with something you don’t see a lot in video games, craft beer. Teaming up with the incredibly talented comic book artist from Costa Rica, Edo Brenes, we brought this vision to life as a pure hobby. To our surprise, **Dude, Where Is My Beer?** won awards, got great reviews and captured the attention of players, despite our lack of marketing or promotional efforts.
Recently, I released my second game – **Another Bar Game** \- a casual action game, also about craft beer. This time I wanted to learn more about programming and see if I could release a game all alone! It worked – and I’m happy to see that it also sells pretty well on Nintendo Switch, also with minimal marketing efforts.
