First image is what is displayed upon turning on the console. I just bought it knowing it had problems but I’m not sure what exactly the problem is yet. When you check network then wired, it says it’s all good and connected to internet, despite not having an ethernet cable plugged in. When you do plug one in it takes a little longer to load that same option then says the same thing but its lying. If I do wireless and put in my SSID, the second picture is the result, every time. My Xbox One S has absolutely no problem with the WiFi router, it is not the router that’s the problem. I tried downloading the system update onto a USB, it is correctly formatted and installed and I downloaded the update to the console. It gets to 100% loads for awhile then eventually returns to the same screen from before “There was a problem with the update” I’ve tried installing the update several times and I’ve tried installing it while the ethernet cord is plugged in and without it. Is there some kind of way I can fix it, or is it a hardware issue? And if it is, is it something as simple as replacing the ethernet port?
