Bought a Series X for a really Good price with many extras. Owner mentioned that Optical Drive was making noises and not reading disks but he was using mostly for digital.
I did some investigation for Optical Drive motherboard swap etc etc
I tried a few XBox One, 360 , S/X Games DVDs and nothing was reading. I turned it sideways and I smacked it firmly and the last disk I inserted seemed to struggle. On its way out I realized that there was a wipe stuck inside. After that it works like a champ.
