To be honest it didn't work as good as I was hoping. I really dislike the metal feeling of the Elite's d-pad and wanted it to be plastic. Only issue is the elite's face plate is a bit taller(?) so the d-pad is now to recessed.
I hope I can find a way to make it just a bit higher.
It does work completely ok, it just doesn't have the perfect feeling I'm looking for.
Not pictured, now I have an Xbox One controller with a swappable d-pad 😂
It's pretty easy to do as both pieces are almost the same size. It's only the height that's different.
