I don’t even know why but the audience part of TTYD’s combat is one of my favorite parts of any video game ever. I love that it’s a stage and the stage props can do damage, but for whatever reason, the audience part of it takes it to another level. And I really don’t know why, but I’ve always absolutely adored it.
It even made my feelings about Origami King’s combat (since audiences were there too) a little less negative and may be the only reason I didn’t totally hate that part of that game.

The stage/audience RNG is a massive part of why I love this game. It adds just the right amount of bullshit chaos that can go anywhere. I remember being turned invincible by an audience Boo in the final boss lmfao.

I’ve never played this and I’m so excited to get to. I’m gonna have to have a physical copy of this one.
