I got this used controller and it doesnt show up on my pc to use wireless. I tried connecting with a cable and it works perfectly fine i did check if it works wireless with an xbox before buying but it doesnt work with a pc can someone help?

Do you have the usb wireless dongle that’s required to connect an Xbox controller to a PC?
That controller does not have Bluetooth capabilities. You can tell because the top part of the controller where the home button is the same plastic as the bumpers.
If the controller had Bluetooth capabilities, it would have the plastic as the face of the controller and the bumpers would be a different plastic.
The only way you can get this to work on PC is via cord or if you have a special dongle that the controller will connect to. That dongle gets plugged into a USB slot on your PC.
1st gen Xbox one controllers don’t have Bluetooth. You’ll need a special receiver dongle.
