Yeah those are nice options to have. In some GBA games I use the smoothing option. Nintendo was way ahead of the curve and Wii U is heavily underrated.
Since launch? How? When i own a console i wanna know everything about it.

Indeed, and you can press in the right stick to turn off or on the smoothing filter. I prefer pixels in basically all cases but some cases can be made for more artistic looking games, and that’s great for those who want to try it.
