Tried switching a tag on a different tag and got auto claimed and then get this
Is there anyway I could get my tag back? Everyone’s telling me it got taken by an autoclaimer which is true because it was instant and I couldn’t get the tag.
You could try reporting it to Microsoft and MAYBE it will become available again, but if it’s an extremely sought after tag you’re basically going to be in a cycle of this happening if it does happen to become available again.
Also, one of the situations I could see for you wanting to swap a tag to another account is you purchased a rare gamertag. If that’s what you did then there’s pretty much zero chance of you getting it back.
You are most likely just going to have to cut your losses.
