Last week I bought a rare copy of Blasphemous Deluxe Edition (EUR Region). The person who sold it is earnest and has already sold to me an Undertale copy which came complete with manual (basic version).

However, the Blasphemous copy was way more expensive (it's sold out in most places) and it didn't come with the DIGITAL CODE to access the digital artbook soundtrack and stuff.

The game did come with it's own icon (it's a different save game than the digital eshop version) and I got the 2 exclusive Penitent One skins.

The guy said he sent a message to TEAM17 and now is waiting for an answer. I wonder… Is that counterfeit somehow or I'm just truly unlucky to get a game that didn't have a crucial element that only a company could offer? (if it is counterfeit the bandit cannot generate a code to use inside eShop to access exclusive content locked only to Deluxe edition).

Sorry if it was confusing, I'd like to know your views and even if any of you has already been in my shoes or even better: is it possible for him to sell a sealed copy of a very very very rare game like that? Thank you

    1. Sounds like it was resealed. It’s possible, they sold legitimate basic products to fool you into believing they’re legit sellers, then once they’ve gained your trust and you start buying the rarer, pricier ones, that’s when they scam you.

Was there any wear on the cartridge contacts? Any scratches on the case?

      Mistakes happen.

People saying it is resealed need to calm down.

Was this eBay? If so, they have really good buyer protection if you didn’t get what you paid for.

I just got a brand new game directly from PlayAsia, and the booklet that came inside the case was rumpled. Sometimes it’s a manufacturer error/bad QC.
