It’s more of a problem with capitalism overall.

Nothing that doesn’t turn a quarterly profit is worthwhile.

I’m not against capitalism, I just think it needs to have rules, and that our society needs to come face-to-face with the notion that shareholder value is not our God.

I can’t even fathom the fact that we have lost Tim dog, he was one of the frontline soldiers and then destin from ign got disappointed and made 4 videos, now Xbox era is also sad ?

What’s next ? The lieutenant governor peterovo starts rambling how Xbox is loosing their shit ? Lemme go and see what he has to say on this matter. Oh dear….it has happened I repeat we have lost peterovo, we do not have any more reinforcements other than corporal colteastwood. Sources say he is holding the lines like tobey maguire from Spider-Man 2 saving the train with his webs. If he falls we are cooked.

It’s not that Microsoft forgot, it’s that Microsoft itself is starting to erode on what Xbox was created to be

The first gaming console I ever played was actually an original Xbox and even back then and especially with the benefit of hindsight, I can tell the people who were making it were trying to position it as a much more consumer-facing arm of what is otherwise a company you associate with stuff like Word, or Excel, or just the Office suite which is very corporate-leaning and friendly to that sector of their business and treated more like a standard commodity. It really feels like after 360 and especially with both Mattrick and now the current leadership, Xbox has merely become an extension of what Microsoft already is rather than a rejection of that broader brand image.
