Got heavily inspired by u/Magneto-Electricity's icon tournament in r/geometrydash last year. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't even have this idea in mind.
Yes, I know that some people are sick of these kinds of posts, but I just wanted to host this tourney just for the sake of commemoration, since SMM1’s servers had shut down last month. So, to remember this installment that most of us grew up with, I decided to host something related to probably one of the most iconic features in the original game, the mystery mushroom & amiibo costumes. (See image 2 for costumes 151-153 btw)
Anyways, like mentioned in the post title, the main motive of this tourney is to eliminate all the costumes until there is one left standing. Specifically, we will be eliminating 9 of the top comments for every post, with the most upvoted one being the first blood, and the ninth most upvoted being the last one.
In order for a costume to get eliminated, comment either the number OR the name of the outfit, as long as it's clear to whom you're referring to. Don't just say “The one that looks like an X”, because that description is too vague, and not everybody will understand which one you're talking about.
Also, to anyone who says that this is just mindless karma farm, let me just say: Karma does not really serve any practical purpose, other than it just being a measurement of points that you receive online. It’s not like it’s going to benefit you anywhere, right?
