The one I have (Wii) is made by Logitech works on a PC as its a simple omnidirectional USB microphone. I got it with one of the Disney Songs games years ago.

It has been an incredibly long time since I’ve used mine but I did use it on my PC back in the day. I remember it being fine and recorded with it but this was a long time ago so take my words with a grain of salt.

The quality is good enough for playing Karaoke games, but pretty awful for recording with.
The chances are that your laptop already has a better microphone built in.
