That’s very creative. Lol I just bought a cheap Walmart brand powered USB hub for my HDD for my Wii U. As long as you get the hub that is powered by an ac adapter you should be good to go.

Just get a microsd reader and a microsd :), that’s what I ended with after trying other more cumbersome solutions like hdds
