(Ubuntu) Steam games only launch when on root drive

Yeah. Basically that, all games simply launch when on my OS drive, and don't if on another.

32G RAM
Radeon RX 6750 XT
Ryzen 9 5900 (12 core)
OS 64bit

filesystem: .. NTFS? (weird i thought it was FAT16 or 32)
GUID Partition Table
5TB Size
HDD (Dont remember RPM)
(USB 3) USB A <--> USB Micro B

-----Int drive
filesystem: Ext4
GUID Partition Table
0.5TB Size
Sata SSD

…and i cant think of anything else that would be relevant.

(Also i found this, and while some games are proton enabled, a decent few are not. Such as teamfortress2 and portal
