It is so much better then the last expansion it’s amazing, it honestly feels like a fully different team did the story, combat encounters, design and even voice acting direction.

The new strike is good, the raid is an actual challenge, and the plans for chapters sounds more thought out.

Worth playing as a solo just for the campaign? I literally havent played anything past forsaken, but might buy into the dlcs for cheap

    3. That’s because the only people who care about it are sunk cost 10 year lifers, and those are all games press now because they can afford to drop $5k on DLCs.

Same shit you see with Star Citizen, you can track review scores linearly with sunk cost when you get to this stage of addiction.

The author that wrote this gave it a 10, and while I like him, he has full on Stockholm Syndrome about this game.

Anyone still playing it really does, and I imagine the only ones reviewing it are the same. You can’t just step into this game and review it, you have to be in it for the long haul.

Those people have about as much a clue as how to respect player time and investment as BUNGLE does.

I love these comments downplaying this. It’s a legitimately great expansion & the best in Destiny’s history. I’d also say as someone who has played pretty much everything from Bungie going back to Halo, it’s one of the best things they’ve ever made in their history as a studio.
