Got this second hand with a non-functioning L button and am trying to fix it. Reconnected the ribbon cable and whatnot but it still doesn’t work. Adding the photo just in case anything seems off (I have no experience with hardware repair).
Anyone know if I’ll need to buy anything new or if it’s just an obvious quick fix?

Is the ribbon cable of the L button fried or just dirty? From the looks of it, it seems like something fried
Those black spots on the ribbon cable are causing it. I got a problem that the ZL button was always pressed because of that. Fix it buying ribbon cable replacements on eBay.
