Have you played more than 2 hours in it? Steam may give you a refund and then you can buy it again discounted. I did that a few years ago

It’s because Tekken 8 went on sale. Problem is Tekken 7 is genuinely better than 8 and this is coming from someone with over 100 hours in each game.

tekken like most modern fighting games are a monetary scam at their finest. base game which may as well be some free to play demo bullshit then sell more than half of the roster of playable characters expensively piecemeal THEN once you have squeezed your whale community and pushed everyone else out. re release the same exact game under the standard gold definitive ultimate edition, keep the game very expensive, roll all the dlc into the base game then produce additional dlc only available for this new title, this time under the guise of season passes, bonus points for making it extremely confusing for the consumer as to what they get from a season pass vs buying actual meaningful things piecemeal if thats even afforded to them as an option any more. I only participate in fighting games that give you an actual solid product for a reasonable price. no hoard of train simulator levels of DLC to wade through. just the game and everything related to the game included
