what?? I don't have any game consoles.. did a little research and you're telling me all I have to do is get a fire stick, a game pass, and a Bluetooth controller for the TV and I could play Xbox games?

Yes. That’s the whole point of this. Xbox wants people to be able to play Xbox games without a PC or console. (For a monthly subscription of course)
I know you mentioned Game Pass but that’s the “catch”; you need to pay for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The con is that streaming is obviously not going to be as good as playing natively on a console. Some people say it works great for them and some say it’s unplayable.
I play via a browser on my MAC. No different here. Just a browser with a decent network connection and good to go. Love being able to play on my laptop now.
