Does anyone know if the Wii U consoles that came in the Super Mario Maker Set have the bad Hynix chips in them?
A local store near me has this set used and I might be interested in buying it. It comes CIB except for the little figure and they're asking $249.99 for it.
I bought my console from a Super Mario 3D World bundle and I got a Hynix chip, but there hasn’t been any issues with it that I can report on

A bit unrelated, but when I was 8, my family got the Mario maker wiiu and my brother accidentally threw away the download code for smm.
I’m still a bit salty about it after all these years

I believe these consoles were released after nintendo stopped using hynix nands so it should be fine

Now you have me wondering. Other than cracking it open, is there any way to know? We have a Wii U that gets play at least one or twice a week. We have an older Crucial M4 SSD attached to it via USB to Sata adapter 😀
