The right console cover on my PS5 has decided to pop off at the top for some reason. I can't take the stand off. I've tried unscrewing it but it won't come loose.
Did you drop it? The pins/hooks that slot into the console are several mm deep so there’s no way for them to just pop off. Did you try a screwdriver for the stand or just that butter knife?
And just looking at the photo, if the left panel is sitting that low and is still inside the stand on the bottom, is your stand also crooked?

It just slides and snaps back in place. They are easily removable, it makes cleaning it easier.
