Probably any glue could be fine. But probably not hot glue because it might melt the rubber. Gorilla glue maybe.

I had that same issue, I used three very small drops of crazy glue like a triangle, be very careful to not put too much bc then it’ll come out the edges and get into moving parts of the circle pad, have something to wipe the excess off handy nearby, Incase that happens.
