Their naming of things is fucking exhausting 😂 I think once my game pass expires next year I won’t renew. I find myself not even playing game pass games very much anyways.

It is exhausting but to be fair to MSFT they aren’t the only one doing it. PlayStation raised the price of PS Plus not that long ago.

I dunno, I read the announcement and grasped it pretty easily.
Core is just online multiplayer (gold), Standard is has the games they add monthly like normal and Online play. Ultimate is the 3 course meal of Cloud & Online, Library of Games and Day One launches.
Did I miss something?

They should stop with the ‘case by case’ basis approach because people will always question if games are coming to other platforms and now the same will occur game pass.

I dont get why everyone is complaining about them fixing the worst issues less than a year after removing gold. Now every tier contains the entire tier below it like a proper subscription model.
Complain about the price increase fr, but this naming actually fuckin works instead of trying to explain the difference between game pass for console and game pass core.

It’s the same with any service. AT&T announced the changes to some unlimited plans and there were 20 being discontinued and were all named pretty much the same thing. They bloat up with too many options, scale, back and then repeat over and over.

What? They left it alone for like 3 years, got rid of GWG which everyone complained about the games of and replaced it with some solid games
Updded the price to $17 or whatever and are now doing $20 and another tier for people who don’t want everything included in the $20 tier
If they would have added the gamepass core thing at the same time of this it would have been less confusing but like oh well
