The First Berserker Khazan Massive Update News – New DLC Info

Now, if you’re anything like me, you’ve absolutely been loving the first Berserker Kazan. But now, I have pretty much got to the end of everything and I’m eagerly awaiting their update. Fortunately, we’ve just had some news that I think a lot of people will really enjoy. So, I’ll be going over everything you need to know about the May update, the DLC they’ll be dishing out, and pretty much their road map for the future. Now, first off, I’ve been looking for this over the internet for quite some time. Nothing’s popped up. So, I’d like to thank this user right here over on Reddit and hopefully I don’t butcher the name, but that’s going to be by Ben Bin Park saying that there’s a dev note and that’s in the future of the first Berserker Kazan. This was by Juno Lee, the creative director of the first Berserker itself. And apparently, it’s been covered a little bit also over on Discord. Now, I’m not going to go over everything word for word, so if you need to pause it to have a little look at the notes, you can do, but I’m just going to go over the general premise and tell you exactly what’s in the future for us all with this game. Apparently, one of the things they’ve been doing is brainstorming in the background, working out exactly what to do with the DLC and what’s put in place to make the game even better. And one thing they came up with was to make the game much more punishing, really challenging in general, and just tougher overall for players to experience. However, after a sitdown, it seems they’ve come to the conclusion that they’d rather have it feeling rewarding as well as being slightly challenging rather than being insanely difficult to point frustrating. It seems like what they’ve been trying to put together is the measure of a kind of hardcore difficulty, but rather than it being your standard one, they were trying to make it additional content. Something that was slightly different, but also felt rewarding and challenging to play at the same time. With all that in mind, after a few brainstorms and then working out exactly what they were after, it seemed like there’s going to be two new modes coming to the first Berserker Kazant. And as long as all goes well, they should be hitting on May the 15th. The new content itself, it looks like, is going to come in the form of two new boss rush modes. And these are going to be deemed as the ultimate challenge. In order to participate in these, you will have to fully clear the game. So, you’re going to have to beat the final boss. Probably just on your original playthrough will be enough, I believe. And then it will actually be added to the menu of your home title screen. Apparently, these modes are going to be slightly different in difficulty. So, you probably want to play one before the other. And the first one we’re going to be going over is going to be the Great Generals Crucible. Honestly, if you’re like me and you’ve been putting together a build that absolutely decimates everything in the game, tears through all of the content, destroys all of the bosses, and makes things probably a little bit easier than they should do, then this mode may well sit you back in your seat because it looks like for this one, you’re going to be fighting through groups of bosses in a kind of themed area, unlocking more as you clear them. But for this one, you’re going to have pre-desated specs. So, your gear, levels, skills, everything is going to be predetermined. Now, it doesn’t look like you’re actually going to be able to tailor your build whatsoever. So, it’s going to be more along the lines of skill base and learning and adapting to the challenge ahead of you. But, if you are able to beat them all, you’re going to earn yourself a special reward, which unfortunately they don’t go into at this time. This sounds absolutely awesome, although I would imagine it’s going to be very difficult. So, you may want to get used to falling over again and learning all of the bosses patterns, especially if they spice it up a little bit. But then after that, they go over the second mode, which is going to be the Berserker’s bloodshed. And for this one, you’re going to be able to make your character stronger with rewards earned from consecutive fights until hopefully you push them all the way to the very final boss. If you can manage best them, you’re going to get a reward. And they say that you can also earn brand new powerful weapons and set items. This sounds awesome. I can’t wait to see what these are. Hopefully, they’ve put some really cool content in here and some new gear sets and some items. Sounds amazing in my books. These two modes should definitely bring a few Berserkers back. Hopefully, it’ll be a lot of fun to play. They do, I must admit, sounds very challenging, especially that first one where you’re kind of predetermined with all of your stats. But as long as the reward is good, I think this will be something people will definitely try and undertake. Another thing they’re going to be planning to do is to change your appearance even on your first playthrough, which, let’s face it, pretty much should have been a standard thing anyway. And like I said, fingers crossed if everything goes well, this should be hitting on May the 15th. So, we really haven’t got too long to wait for it. However, they also went on to say they’re going to be looking into a lot more progressing in the future. So, I’m going to go over a few things they’ve mentioned that they’re going to try and update in order to improve the whole entirety of the game overall. The main thing they’re trying to do by the looks of it is add some quality of life features, and one of the things is going to be a new item added to you, allowing you to fast travel to the crevice or the last blade nexus that you interacted with. They go on to mention that these will be permanent unlock items, not just kind of consumables. So, you’ll be able to use this whenever you want. Hopefully, if they manage to make this perfected, I’d imagine when it goes back to the last blade nexus, you’ll be able to then replay the boss. But though they were having a few issues with that that they did mention within this article. So we’ll have to see how that works once the content’s actually in place. Also another thing that’s in most games that wasn’t in this one. It wasn’t any big thing to be fair. But it is definitely nice to see put in place and that’s going to be you’ll be able to teleport from all of the kind of unlock checkpoints or blade nexus so you can travel within the mission entirely. As well as that after clearing certain missions for farming purposes, you’re now going to start straight in front of the spectral portal. So you won’t have to run long distances through the mortal world in order to get a quick retry. So just trying to streamline things and make things a little bit faster. Lastly, just to summarize, they’re also looking at a few other things such as balance adjustments. So they’ll be looking for skill balance and adjustments between all classes. So expect the dual wheel to get a nerf in the future and hopefully the great sword to get a little buff as well as giving you some things like skill presets, gear presets. I would imagine these are going to be like your custom settings if you’re after one specific build or another. As well as that, you’ll be able to increase your gear grades. I don’t know if that means there’s going to be a new one entirely or now you’ll be able to kind of upgrade from lower to higher tier all the way up to legendary hopefully. An interesting one is to change weapon scaling. This is something that is in pretty much all of the Souls likes, but in this one everything was set in stone. So, this could really be a bit of a game changer for your damage if they do this one well. And then the others they just briefly go over there’s going to be small adjustments such as sorting items by name, giving you a bit more storage expansion. And then finally, they don’t go on to emphasize, but more special contents coming as well. All of this should be hitting later on. The other stuff for the two kind of boss rush mode is going to be jumping out at us on May the 15th. So something to look forward very shortly. But for this stuff, they’re looking more longterm and it looks like it’ll be around about the middle of June. Overall though, for anyone who’s enjoying the first Berserker or was thinking about coming back to it, this is a really nice thing to know about. And personally, I’m really looking forward to that boss rush mode. And I’m also hoping they put some really nice new gear in it. But yeah, as always, there’s going to be a load more content away from me, as well as I’ll be covering the new Night Ring game for Elder Ring as soon as it comes out, cuz that looks awesome. Hopefully, you join me on the content there. But as always, Full Things Gaming, take care. I’ll see you on the next day.
