Chamaeleon Cruiser Pack DLC Fishing Planet Guide
Welcome back folks to Fishing Planet. I’m Super Dave and today we’re going to be taking a look at the new Fishing Planet Chameleon cruiser pack that actually does have two lure poles as well and a bunch of gear. Uh that being said, I’m guessing these are trolling ones. And this is in the background. You guys can see what’s all in the pack. Um new boat looks pretty cool. and we will take a look at it right away cuz I know a lot of you guys will want to see that right off the bat. And doesn’t have the same equipment as the other pack. It does have 60 days, however, at the new map. All right, first things first, guys. Here are the old boats, the old yachts, right? Um, and you can see this one has a lot more max weight, one more person, and uh actually looks to be quicker. So, we’re going to take a look at that as well. And it looks like actually based off of this, it also has rear sonars. That’s that looks new to me. Um, and uh let’s go ahead. I know the big question is first, is this boat able to go to other ocean maps? So, let’s go to Kaijuno die quick and take a look and uh we will see if if we can use this at Kaijun die. That would be uh super cool. And hopefully I know it sounds maybe obvious to some people, but if uh you know each map has its own boat, that would kind of not be a good thing, right? So, let’s go ahead and check out uh the new boat here. And as you can see, we looks like can we use it at the other ocean maps, which is really cool. This thing is actually pretty neat looking. Let’s get into it quick. Um, real quick, I will say I did have to restart my game. I could not fast travel for some reason. Maybe a bug for you guys here too. So you guys can see here’s a driver spot. We’re actually going to go ahead and I want to test out the speed to make sure it is quicker. Uh oh, this thing turns insanely well. You could turn on a spot dime with this thing. Oh, that’s crazy. All right, let’s let her go. Yep, it is the 40 knots that it says it is. All right, let’s go ahead uh and do 1%. We’ll just see what it does at 1% here in a minute. And uh down here, look, five spots. Look at all this room for activity. Five people means I can have my whole family in the game when they get high enough level to get here. And you can see we have our own sonars here. That’s pretty neat. Let’s go check the speed of what the trolling at 1% will be. Four knots. That’s actually good. Okay, good. Uh so you could use that the other map. And it uh has a max single fish of 1,400. Holy moly, that is a big fish compared to the other boats. That is makes the other boats pretty outdated. So, here are the new poles. These are definitely trolling poles. It does seem to be for the most part. They’re short, so you’re not going to cast too far, but the lure weight is incredibly heavy. So, 17 ounces definitely being the new thing. So, let let’s take a look at it. 243 on the line weight uh for metric friends. Obviously, yours will be the metric version of it, but we’re just we’re not really caring about the weight so much. We’re caring about balance. This is a pretty strong pole, though, however, and the balance seems to be pretty good for the most part. Uh, and yeah, and so this is the first one. This seems to be a heavy duty pole. And the second one seems like kind of what we had before. Let’s take a look. Um I’m guessing I’m just thinking that wrong. Uh spinning rods. Let’s take a look. Uh oh, that’s right. These are not These are actually No, we only had 150 before off of this. Okay. uh saltwater. Uh let’s see, casting rods. So, these are spinning rods, which makes them more a little interesting here. Um and Oh, wow. Yeah. So, even off of this, these are going to be tougher. Now, it does look like the casting trolling ones, this is going to be about that same level that that had. And the balance looks not too bad. Line’s a little weak, but we’ll see if we can’t fix that. Um cuz I don’t think Yeah, we would rather get braid on there to cast farther. Anyway, uh let me see if there’s a way to balance these poles out a little bit better. Uh I’ll see you here in a second. And as you can see, these are the S setups more balanced. This actually I didn’t touch for right now. We don’t have the braid available for that. Uh, and it pretty close anyway. Um, and I did take off the leader cuz it doesn’t look like no reason to have it. And also on the 57, the other pole we put on the Zen Lime braid from the shop now uh to make this a really balanced pole. Now one thing to note about that guys here uh this is a old setup from Kaija Noai right there’s 198 there they raised the value of that 198 line to 92 cuz you could clearly get that before that was on my template already. So clearly you could get that before. Uh so if you do have some of that laying around that’s what I used. Otherwise you could use the line that the game gives you. Um, and then now really quick, we’re going to take a look at this stuff that comes, lures and etc. in this pack. Also, um, right here, it does come with this case right here. But again, uh, to just, as you can see here, three rods, three reels. I mean, the beginner stuff that we’re using is higher than that. So, uh, instead of equipping that over the X series 1, we’re going to just leave or we’re going to go ahead and get rid of that. No reason to keep that. Um, this actually does have a tackle bag in as well, but it’s not as good as the other DLC. So, kind of interesting on that. We’re going to get rid of that one as well. And it does have a um, let’s go ahead and down. I think that was it for Yeah, I think that was it for the gear. Now we could go up to uh check everything here. Let’s go over to this poll. Uh definitely some Wow, there is a lot of them pilkers there. Holy moly. Oh, 12 O’s and they’re huge. We’re going to put each one of these in our bag here quick. Uh, and then in here, if you guys didn’t know, saltwater stuff is down at the bottom. Oh lord, there is a stealth popper. That’s interesting. So, we have new stuff here, obviously. Um, and it did give us some plugs from before, it looks like. So, maybe we’ll throw in one of each of them as well. um just to see what them are like. And a new metallic plugs. Oh, okay. Wow. Lot of new stuff. We’re going to throw two of these in each one of them. I want to do some testing on them, the new ones. And 150 plugs. Holy crud. All right. Looks like outside of that, we’re probably good. And they did give us a bunch more trolling octopuses again, which I already had in there. Oh, but there’s these new glowing trolling octopuses. Oh, wow. They’re 8040 O’s. These are going to be very interesting to try out. Again, we’ll put one of each in the bags here and uh kind of see. Hm. There’s a lot of actually really intriguing stuff about this update. I can’t wait to get into. Now, for the baits, um, let’s see here. Baits. As you can see, uh, we have Indian Ocean Split. Oh, some of these new ones here, but I think it’s only four. I think the other ones I tried to look for weren’t in there uh, that I could see. So, um, yeah, I did take a gander at that and didn’t see anything. So, that being said, there is some more live bait trolling hooks, which I think you’re going to need to use for some of these things, and trolling skirts, which we’ll put in there as well. Yeah, I don’t know. These are all new, so we’ll be testing them out, pulling them with as well. Um, and just kind of filling up our bag with them. Uh, but I think that looks like that’s probably it. Let’s see what else they gave us. Uh, some more of the line or leaders. Uh, looks like some more of this line. We’ll bring that with some more of the 227 line. We will bring that with as well. Uh outside of that I am not seeing oh there is this stuff here and I don’t think I will be using that. Um but anyway guys uh hopefully this helps you guys out. We’ll see you next time.
