WWE 2K25 Patch 1.24: Full Details, New Personas, El Grande Americano DLC Released & More!
In this video, we have all the details on the new patch 1.24 update for WWE 2K25, including the addition of El Grande Americano as a new playable character. We got news of a big fix for creations, some El Grande Easter eggs, plus the tease of some brand new content, including a retro version of AJ Styles. So, let’s sort the new patch 1.24 update for WWE 2K25. As ahead of next week’s RTI DLC, 2K dropped a surprise patch update with this patch righing at a considerable 4.5 GB on Xbox. The main focus of the patch is the addition of El Grande Americano, who’s been added to the game as a new DLC character with El Grande replacing the celebrity guest that was originally announced as part of the new wave DLC pack. If you own the new wave pack, you’ll find that El Grande has now been added to the game automatically after installing the 1.24 update where he comes complete with a new entrance, Trrons, and commentary. El Grande Americano calls himself a luchador, but he’s about as underhanded as they come. carrying off masks of other competitors. Loads up his mask with a steel plate when the referee isn’t looking. Oh, come on, Cole. Mistakes happen. El Grande of Americano doesn’t mean to tear off their masks. And what’s wrong with having a little protective gear under the mask? Why doesn’t he wear it over the mask then? Uh cuz it’s a beautiful mask. Why would you want to put anything over it? In terms of moves, El Grande comes with a choice of five different finishes with these including the ankle lock from the grounded position and four variations of his headbutt. Here, I can’t keep going from the top. Diving headbutt looks out of it. Set up for a second time. Pent out of it. Oh man, jar headbutt pent out of it. While these moves were already in the game, he does feature one new move as the update has added a new moon salt senton which is a scientel grande as one of his signatures. Elbow caught him right on the bridge of the nose. Climbing to the top. What’s he have in store? launching, just hurling their body. As for any other notable features, one thing I did notice was that Al Grande features a unique crowd chant. As you can hear, a divided crowd chanting, “This is Gable.” No, it’s not. In terms of taunts, as speculated in the previous video, El Grande does feature a new voice taunt as he has Gable’s thank you taunt which includes voice over of him shouting gracias. [Music] When it comes to the mask, if you’re wondering if this can be updated, the good news is that it can be customized. There’s options to add logos or customize the colors. Though, the bad news is that if you change the top of the mask to blue like it should have been, it’ll also change the stripes. Plus, you can’t swap out the mask. So, if you’re wondering if you could use the island version, it’s not possible to change it. So, that’s everything regarding El Grande. However, going back to the patch itself, the update also includes a major fix for community creations. As for the past few months, creators have been dealing with a problem that stopped their uploads appearing when searching. With the patch now claiming to have resolved that issue, as a patch notes read, addressed reported concerns of items failing to appear in the upload menu after being uploaded to community creations. Given the updates, the upload problem should now be resolved and creation should now appear as normal. As for any other changes, sharing some of the content that’s due to be added to the game in the near future, WWE games modder Whity Whitson has revealed three upcoming Persona cards as the update has added a new entry for Cody Rhodess 22, which is based on his appearance for his Helner Cell match with Seth Rollins, where he appeared severely bruised with a torn peg. Also found was a classic version of Trish Stratus which is listed as Trish Stratosaur 3 with a seeing Trish in a purple outfit with a black coat and a hat with Wy revealing that this version of Trish is also set to include her old theme time to rock and roll. Speaking of old themes, saving the best till last, it was also revealed that there are plans to add a retro version of AJ Styles with this version featuring short hair and his classic gear from TNA. Though the best part of this is that the retro version was also revealed to feature his tier theme music, Let’s Get Ready to Fly. It’s worth noting that these characters have yet to be announced officially. Therefore, there is still the chance that plans may change or that they could be scrapped entirely. So, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from 2K. So, that’s everything regarding the new patch update.
