MASSIVE WWE 2K25 DLC UPDATES! NEW EDITION COMING SOON!?

So, let’s talk about a lot of the stuff that has come out, has been revealed that we’re probably going to end up seeing in the game this year. I will say if all of this comes true, it’s looking pretty good. except for well it’s going to have a lot to do with Persona cards unfortunately. But let us begin. El Grande Americano has come out. He came out yesterday. I’ve played with him already. I like his moves. I like how he looks. The mask is incorrect, but it’s fun to have him nonetheless. And I like having El Grande instead of just like Travis Scott or another celebrity. You gave us a wrestler for the game. One downside, you cannot take his mask off. I mean, unless you’re modding the game or something, you could do that. But I’ve gone in there and I cannot remove the mask. So, I find that to be a bummer. I like the commentary they use with El Grande. I like how they go back and forth about it with Chad Gable. So, I think it’s a win. Now, they did give us patch notes and updates to go alongside El Grande. They address reported concerns of items failing to appear in the upload menu after being uploaded to community creations. And that’s it. Now, I have seen some comments here that have asked, “Where do I get Elre? He’s not showing up. Going on. It’s all good.” but he’s part of the DLC pack, the first one. You have to have that in order to get El Grande. So, he’s not a Persona card, my faction exclusive, anything like that. You just have to have that DLC pack. Something you don’t need for a DLC pack, Charlotte Flair. So, shout out to Mr. What’s the Status? Lovely fellow. But he’s got this. He’s been digging around and digging at dirt. But he did find out that Charlotte Flair 19 is in the game. So, she’s been added and updated to the roster. It’s great addition. Great to be able to have her. Why? Why can we not get like every other version from previous games in there? Like, what are we doing here? Why can’t we just add these people? But you got Charlotte Flair 2019. They keep beefing up amount of Charlotte that we’re going to get in the game. So, that’s something. I think a lot of people were surprised cuz they turned on the game yesterday and I saw comments of just like, “Oh, why why do I have Charlotte? Is that new? Is this old? What what is happening here?” They’re finding random sometimes. Now, one thing they didn’t fix, and I’m asking 2K directly here, they’re not listening to me. But what I’d love for them to do is, and we’ll talk about it for a little bit further, AJ Styles, why does he have his heel theme music when he hasn’t used that? Like when the game came out, it was right around the time AJ was off and when he came back, he came back as Baby F. He had his old theme song. So, I get it that like, hey, the stars didn’t align there. I got it. But it’s been so long now. Put in the other theme. Like, just make me happy for a day. There’s still a lot to get to cuz we’ve got different editions and there’s more DLC content coming up. But before that, I got to thank today’s sponsor, Raycon. I didn’t think I’d see the day. I mean, honestly, like the the TNA crossovers with WWE, it’s getting pretty pretty pretty interesting. They are doing way more with this and it makes me excited for next year. Not if it’s going to all be just locked in Persona cards. That’s not good cuz the grind becomes way too much. Have you seen some of this stuff? It just drives me insane. So, here’s what you need to know. When it comes to AJ Styles, they are doing the retro AJ Styles Persona card where you’re going to get his theme song that’s been found in the game. By the way, this is coming from Witty the G, Witty Witter, and What’s the Status who cover the game so intently, so they do wonderful work. So, please go follow them on your socials. I’m not on there anymore. It’s It’s too scary. So, I do but I do appreciate that all the work that they do to find out all this stuff. So, we do know that we are going to get AJ Styles Persona card. This is one of the things that I worry about and I’ve seen my colleagues on the internet and my other fellow creators, they also too are worried and shaking in the pants because and not in a good way, but they’re very concerned that it’s going to be just grinding hell for AJ Styles. The theme song in there, yay. Probably locked to the Persona. And I worry that it’s going to be something like get these five Persona cards in the game to then have the match to then h get the Persona for AJ Styles. It’s going to be a live event. Could you not just make it for one card to then get AJ or just put AJ in there for five bucks as a persona? No. It’s going to be just probably the equivalent of $100 worth of cards grinding, stretching you out real bad to be able to get AJ Styles. I will try for about an hour to an hour and a half and then I’m going to call it quitsies cuz I can’t I can’t sit there all day trying to get this thing. But it does make me wonder, and let me know if you agree, disagree. You probably disagree. I wonder if they are going to give us a TNA pack come next year. That’s what she said. Will we get something like TNA version AJ Styles? Like a retro TNA? Like we got Abyss. So I got Abyss and potentially AJ Styles before the year is over. Next year you could have Abyss in the game. AJ Styles in there. The Hardies could be added to a pack. Obviously Joe Henry is on everyone’s list. There’s so much they could pull from TNA to expand the WWE game. I mean, there’s also AAA, which is a whole other beast. And I really wouldn’t be surprised if they start introducing this. They grab some of the most popular people in AAA and add them into the game. We’re getting more personas. You got Trish Stratus 2003, Matt’s personal favorite version of Trish Stratus, TNA, not the brand, Tess, and Albert. That was a heck of a tag team. I miss the old days. It was so fun. But Trish 2003. She’s got the coat. She’s got the hat. And she’s got the purple attire. That’s very classic Trish Stratus. Another notable name, Cody Rhodess 2022. Bruised up chest and pectoral muscle all just destroyed. That’s going to be a Persona card as well. I’d like to get that Cody. That’s fun. That’s a good alternate version. Just please don’t make them so freaking hard that nobody can have a chance. It’s too much. I don’t like the gambling aspect. I’d like to try to grind it for free. But then when you see the equivalent prices that people pay for packs to unlock this stuff, it is not going to work for me, brother. But if you are interested, yeah, that’s going to be coming out as a live event for getting Cody Rhodess 2022. And the model looks good for this little render here they got. But it’s just it’s still just Cody. Like again, I’m glad that you got multiple versions of Cody Rhodess in the game. You got 2022 coming out and you got his Wrestlemania gear has been in there that’s been released and you got current date Cody Rhodess. So, they’re giving you options. I just I’m like, man, these are all locked with Personas. They are doing more of the elite figures. I kind of do like the Elite figures. Like, I’m torn on it. I like some of the elites that you get. I want that as like like give me Battlegrounds. Just elite figures. Like, just do an arcade style WWE game spin-off. Just something like that. Just give me the toys. Everything’s a toy. The arena. Make the arena toy toy arena. That’d be cool. But you’re going to get elite LA Knight, Elite Invisible John Cena, and Elite Liv Morgan. Elite John Cena. I don’t know what the invisible elite John Cena. I have no idea what that could be. We already have invisible John Cena, super Cena. And I don’t know what you’re going to do. Are you going to like give him like the robotic thing like they did with the Cody one or are they just going to make it pure invisible like you see an outline of John Cena? That one kind of a waste. I would wouldn’t waste my time on another John Cena. Or would I? Probably would. They’re also releasing two versions of Roman Reigns. Arcade Roman Reigns and Luchador Roman Reigns. Luchador Roman Reigns. going to have a lucha outfit. The heck’s going on. Put him in a lucha mask. That’s random. They might. It would just be regular Roman Reigns with a Rey Mysterio mask. That’s a waste of time. They also did Big Dog 2019 Roman Reigns. They released him about 2 weeks ago. Again, I have no problem with these Personas if they were priced properly or I could just buy them like skip the grind and just have it in the shop where I could just spend5 to $6 on a specific character I want like AJ Styles. be a happy man. I get that you want people to spend all this money and get the currency and keep going back in there, but man oh man to grind it out for it. It’s really not worth it. It’d be also interesting just to see what they throw in for 2K26 cuz then some of these guys will probably be in there. Now, there’s also the giant news regarding a new version of the game that’s going to be coming out. And this is coming from Witty the Gone. His fingers are all in there to figure everything out. He’s done a wonderful job. So, we look to be getting a farewell tour edition of the game. This is not confirmed, speculation, just what they’re seeing online. Whitty says that he has now been able to identify all four superstars in the farewell tour edition pack that is coming. So, we know in the past that we’ve had different versions of the game come out later in the year, right around October. They’ve done the Bad Bunny edition of the game, which gave you virtual currency as well as the Bad Bunny model, but you had to pay for it. Then they gave us the Wyatt edition which people really did like cuz they jammed a lot of stuff in there. This year it seems to be similar to that but with a couple of pretty big surprises honestly. So according to Witty they’re going to be giving us our Truth Ron Cena. I would suspect that this would be from Saturday night’s main event version of Ron Killings of our Truth where he was dressed up as John Cena with all the red gear. Would he have maybe the alt version with his hair really short now the way it is? Perhaps. Perhaps it’s that the short-haired version of Ron Killings, Our Truth, but with the Cena attire, like where it’s got Ron Cena all over it. I figure that’s what they’re going to do is at least give us just the standard model, but it’s going to be, you know, a different attire for Ron Killings. We’re getting Wrestlemania 41, John Cena. So, this would be John Cena’s black attire, the black towel, everything was the heel version. What gets me excited for this is the possibility that they will give us heal John Cena entrance entrance motion as well as the Trrons. Everything adjusted to be bad guy Cena. Now we live in the world where John Cena just flips to Babyface on a dime because Cody Rhodess said do it with that one. I hope that they would give us a new championship to go for Cena. You know, sometimes they’ve done that where they’ve given us like just whatever random championships to go in the game. I would like them to put together just a WWE John Cena commemorative title belt like they sell in WWE shop. Something like that would be cool. According to Witty, they are going to give us John Cena 2003. So, Dr. Thuggonomics John Cena. This could be baseball jersey, basketball jersey. They could do a number of different things, but he’s got the chain out chain John Cena. I would hope though if this is word life John Cena coming out that again they do the proper Trons, the proper entrance motion, and they give us the theme song with it. I suspect they would. The other one, the big one that is rumored to be coming, Brock Lesnar. I did not have that on my bingo card that they would throw Brock in there for this year. Totally. If this all is going to get confirmed, if this does come true, I’m very surprised that they would throw Brock in there. And for people that are fans of Brock and they want him in, hey, that’s great. Unfortunately, they’re going to make you pay for more content and not just because people are going to say, “Well, this should all be in the game.” But for added content and add value, this late, Brock wasn’t in there. I I hope that they would give us modern-day Brock, you know, ponytail cowboy Brock Lesnar, not just what we’ve had in the previous year’s games, and they’ve just ported him over. Totally would expect the entrance motion, everything to be just standard Brock pulled from the old games. But if they could just take the hair and tweak that and make it more updated and from today and give us a 2024 2025 Brock Lesnar, that’s cool. So, if that’s the addition, what do you think? Would that be satisfying to you? Would you end up paying for the additional content? I think that it should come with honestly I I think it’s good, but I would I mean, I’m always you’re always going to want more. I would love to have, like I said, maybe a different championship added in there. I think those are fun. Maybe an additional arena. I know we’ve got Wrestlemania Las Vegas Arena, Wrestlemania 41 already in there, but it would be kind of neat if they added in maybe a retro arena that fits John Cena, one of his matches, because you could probably pull back to 2K23 was it where it was the John Cena edition. Maybe you could have pulled some of the arenas that were in there and port them over, bring them over officially for this year’s game in the farewell tour. I think that would just go a long way because we love having extra arenas, the authentic stuff. So, and pull some stuff from the 2000s that were in there or Smackdown arenas. Now, the other two names that are rumored online and data mine all that is Goldberg and Nikki Bella. The crowd signs are in the game already. We might want to expect Nikki Bella and Goldberg to come this year. I would think maybe around the time of the Attitude Era pack and the Saturday Night’s Main Event pack, they could be dropping it with that. Maybe they add them into those packs directly or they’re just going to be separate extra bonus DLC. But if you got Goldberg back, you got Nikki Bella, the farewell tour pack where you’re going to have Brock Lesnar added back in the game. That’s a decent amount of content for people that are wanting just wanting more. Personas are relatively exciting. I mean, AJ Styles is TNA version is the most exciting thing that we could get.
