NEW Legendary Kuttenberg Armor Guide | Legends of the Forge DLC
Hello and welcome back to another Dare to Game video. Today we’re playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and we’re doing a video, an armor guide video from the Legacy of the Forge DLC. We’re going to be looking at the new unique suit of armor that has been added to this DLC uh that you can obtain by doing all of the side content. So, I have videos that I’ll be uploading kind of showing how to get through all of the side content in this DLC. But in short, I’ll also kind of point out each major item. I will just say kind of briefly how to get it in this video since showing would be too timeconuming. But with all that being said, let’s just dive on in and start off like we always do with armor guides. So, just to keep things simple on the weapons half, I went with the Cutenberg long sword. As far as I know, there’s only one way to get your hands on this one, and it is through uh random tournament awards. I’m pretty sure, cuz that’s the only place I’ve ever seen it. So, the description says, “A beautiful sword of the highest quality, the ultimate master weapon. It was made by Enderlin, a swordsman from Kutenberg, as a copy of the sword of the Cutenberg Sword Fighting Brotherhood. For the greater glory of Kutenberg, Master Ender then donated it as a reward for the winners of the Cutenberg tournament.” So, like I said, I’m pretty sure that’s the only way to get your hands on this one. Uh, it has a minimum strength of 13, a minimum agility of 16 to use, stab damage of 127, slash damage of 121, blunt damage of 24, defense of 246, durability of 202, and a weight of 2.9 lb. So, it is a pretty pretty good long sword. I wish we could craft it, and then we could make a level four variant, but uh the level three variant is a pretty solid one that I’d say is probably fairly safely in the top 15 overall for weapons in the game. So, pretty solid long sword. Plus, it’s named to go along with the rest of this armor. So, that’s why I chose this as the weapon. Starting off with the clothing layer, I kind of maxed out what we were using here. And so, I went with the golden cross ring and the golden cross with garnets. Uh, only important stats on these, it’s going to of course affect our charisma. And both of these have very high charisma having almost 50 for both of them. Uh, and they are also valuable being 660 gross. So, those are the jewelry. Then, of course, as always with a high-end suit of armor, I decided to pair the noble’s belt and noble’s pouch with it. Again, those just give us more quick access slots and they do increase our price a little bit of those 20 gion. Uh, then for our clothing that actually matters and you actually see, I went with the yellow variant of the short porpont, an expensive and honestly made quilted coat from pre precious fabric for all noble warriors. This one has a stab defense of 14/defense of 46, blood defense of 35, and a weight of 14 lbs. We went with the yellow quilted hose. Simple quilted leggings. Not exactly the pinnacle of tailoring skill. Can be used alone or as a softening under layer beneath better armor. This has a stab defense of 32/ defense of 43, blunt defense of 34, and a weight of 5.7 lbs. Then of course, we also went with some yellow uh nobles boots, decorated high men’s boots with a raised toe made of quality leather. They are designed for the richest. These have a stab defense of two, slash defense of four, and blood two with a weight of three lb. And of course, our last element of clothing is the spurs. We have the noble spurs. Riding spurs for better control of a horse. Double binding, massive arms, long shank, and row held in place by a strong pin. It provides an exceptional boost to horse riding skill. So, these give us a sweet horse riding boost plus 49 charisma. So, very, very solid. Just considering the three, you know, the spurs and the two pieces of jewelry, it kind of makes the suit a max charisma suit of armor no matter what else we add on top. Taking a look at the suit from the outside, which we’ll do on each layer. This is our clothing layer. So, you can see we’ve obviously gone very heavy into the yellow. Typically, I would not do this just by default since yellow is one of my least favorite colors, but the accents on the armor are yellow, so it felt appropriate to match that. So, that is the clothing layer. Let’s move on to the male layer. So, at the male layer, we’re keeping it simple. We have the Hawk Long, the dark variant of that, a long chain mail shirt with sleeves covering the arms and forearms. This has a stab defense of 33, slash defense of 68, blunt defense of 55, durability of 34, and a weight of 26 lbs. We have the male collar with badge, a short chain, male collar, called a gorgeette, protects the neck, and guards the warrior from being cut or penetrated by a blade under the visor of the helmet. Has a stab defense of 27/defens of 68, and blunt defensive 55. And then the male hood with a coat of arms. I would have used a yellow accented one, but I didn’t have one in this playthrough, so I just used any. And it’s a quilted hood with a collar and a wide male hood. Stab defense 28, slash defense of 77, and a blunt defense of 59. So, once again, looking at it from the outside, we have a fairly standard looking suit of armor. Doesn’t really blow your skirt up, or at least it doesn’t really blow mine up, but it does look pretty solid. It It definitely screams highlevel armor because this is pretty much what they always look like when I do a suit of highle plate armor. So, that’s our male layer. Let’s put the exciting top layer on. So, this is the top layer, which you can see we are wearing over there on the right, and it looks really good. But we’ll get a closer look at it on the outside. So, we have four matching pieces that are all labeled Cutenberg. And then, of course, for our gauntlets, they don’t match, but I just picked ones that look the best. You know, they they look like they match this suit even though they don’t. It definitely annoys me that Warhorse had the option of, you know, coating in gauntlets that would match it, but chose not to. But anyway, so we start with the Cutenberg plate legs, which says, “Plate leg protection from the Cutenberg workshop of the blacksmith Henry. These have a stab defense of 134, slash defense of 98, blunt defense of 34, charisma of 18, durability of 19, and a weight of 12.8 lb. Then we have the Nermberg Gauntlets, which like I said are the only non-matching set. A masterpiece from the best armor smmiths finger gloves of hourglass shape made with metal decoration and brass lining. stab defense of 134, slash defense of 98, blunt defense of 34, charisma of 26, durability of 25, and a weight of 3.5 lb. The Cutenberg bassinet, houndskill helmet from the Cutenberg workshop of the blacksmith Henry. This fine piece of plate armor was crafted by the journeyman stand known as the fly. Has a stab defense of 133, slash defense of 98, blunt defense of 34, charisma of 29, durability of 40, and a weight of 13.2 lb. The Cutenberg layered curus is one of two curus options that we can craft in this DLC. There’s a decorated variant that I it looks slightly better than the reg regular nobleman’s decorated curuses in this game already, but I think this one just looks way better and this one has better stats. So that’s why I went with this one. So it says a curus from the Cutenberg workshop of the blacksmith Henry. The individual plates fit together perfectly and the chest is reinforced with an extra tempered layer. has a stab defense of 129, slash defense of 95, blunt defense of 33, charisma 15, durability of 14, and a weight of 22.5 pounds. And our last piece of armor for this suit is the Cutenberg plate sleeves, plate arm protection from the Cutenberg workshop of the blacksmith hen, stab defense of 125, slash defense of 89, blunt defense of 32, charisma of 20, durability of 10, and a weight of 4.2 pounds. So, like I said, I I don’t really have the ability to show you where to get these things, but if you’re playing through the DLC, I can tell you where you will first encounter the schematics. Now, once you’ve encountered them for the first time, you can start randomly getting them as rewards, especially in the investigation missions. You’ll find them in chests and stuff, but the first time I found them in both playthroughs, so I’m going to assume that it’s consistent. Uh, for the well, the first one that I found was the puldron. So, the Cutenberg plate sleeve, I found those from the armor smmith schematic number three, and I found those in the first investigation mission. So, the in the service of Kutenberg, the ones that you do, you know, where you go out and you hunt bandits. I found them in the chest in the very first one that I encountered. So, once you get any of these schematics, you just have to take them back. You have to be to the point where you have Stand at your place and you have a workshop. But once you have him and you have the schematic, you can have him craft them and then you just buy the armor piece off of him. So that’s the first one that I found and I found it with the first investigation mission. Then the second one that I found was the helmet, the Kutenberg bassinet. That one comes from armormith schematic number five. And that one I found during the investigation mission that you do for Bushik the Elder. So that’s the one where you’re looking for his uh missing alchemy ingredients from the c he’s making the rings for. After that, I found uh the plain curus or like I said, the decorated one that I don’t like quite as much. I found that in another investigation mission. It was in the chest at the end. And that is armor smmith schematic number one. After that, I found armor smmith schematic number two, which is the layered curus, the one we’re wearing here. That one was for the final thief mission. So, the missions that you’ll do for the ragman, the very end of that quest chain, or at least the story in there, uh, it will be one of the rewards that he gives you at the end is the schematic for how to craft the layered curus. And finally, the last piece of the suit of armor that I got was the choses, which came from armor schematic 4. Uh, and I got these as the uh final archery mission reward. So, the sharpshooters mission chain has a story that goes along with it. And when you do the last story chapter in that, I got that as a reward from that mission. So, that is where you can get all of the schematics for this suit of armor. So, just going down uh in stats for this suit, we have a total value of 25,511.6 Gion. So, definitely a fairly expensive suit, but I would say probably a little bit undervalued considering how cool, unique, and you know, good it is. I I absolutely love the way the suit of armor looks. It’s my favorite. Well, I guess I don’t know if you call it vanilla cuz it’s a DLC asset, but as far as a warhorse design suit of armor, I love this one. Uh, our weight on this one is 121.8 lbs, which is not crazy for a full suit of blade armor. It’s very, very standard. I’d say maybe even a little bit on the light end for an elite suit of armor like this. The AAR or average armor rating, we’ll just go down the list. For the head, we have 218.3. For the body, it’s 193.7. For the arms, it’s 195.7. and the legs is 153.7, giving us an overall average armor rating or a AAR of 190.3. So, it’s just shy of 200. So, definitely not strongest suit of armor in the game, but considering how good it looks and the fact that it is obviously still really, really solid considering it’s almost a 200, uh, it is a tremendously good suit of armor. And so, just looking at it from the outside, you can see, uh, it is very unique. We have a lot of decorative filigree to it. you know, the brass accents with the dark blackened steel looks amazing. And on every single piece of armor, you can see Henry’s master. So, I’ll just find it on each of them. So, on the helmet, you can see it’s up on the right half of the visor there. If we look at the puldrons, it’s down in the corner right there. Very. If we look at the curus, it’s just below the male collar, which I like that they put it in a spot where it’s not covered by the collar, uh, the aventail from the helmet. Uh, and then for the grieve, it is right above the left. So overall, I really, really like the suit of armor. I think it looks fantastic. It definitely does a good job of making it feel worth working towards because of how much more unique and cool looking it is than everything else in the game. So yeah, overall full marks on this one. No complaints for me other than the fact that they, you know, didn’t make matching gauntlet set. But with that being said, that is Henry’s Cutenberg armor from the Legacy of the Forge DLC. I’m glad that they added a full suit of armor that you can have made. It would be cool if there is even more variety, but you know, beggars can’t be choosers and I absolutely love what we have here. So, that’s all for today. That is the end of the video. Hope you enjoyed it and we’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching another Dare to Game video.
