NASCAR 25 Gold Edition ANNOUNCED. Price, 200+ Paint Schemes, DLC & PC Release Date

So, we just got breaking NASCAR 25 pre-order news just a few minutes ago. They tweeted out the pre-order bonuses for the game. And this is exciting because we now actually know what you know the incentive is for the pre-orders. And it’s important to note in NASCAR 25’s tweet right off the bat that the availability for pre-orders will be on September 18th on PlayStation and Xbox stores. But do not mention Steam, which that is right off the bat, of course, a killer for me as we now will take a look at the pre-order bonuses. Now, as yeah, NASCAR 25 is going to launch with the standard edition as well as a $24.99 season pass. That’s a bit of a hefty price and a gold edition of $79.99. Now, if you’re Canadian like me, we’re talking for the gold edition, I’m going to be forking out over $100 for this game. Uh, but what you get with the gold edition of this game is, well, actually, let’s start with the standard edition. You get 5,000 career bonus dollars, 500 career rep points, uh, as well as three additional paint schemes for the cover drivers. So, Ryan Belly, Christopher Bell, William Byron, and of course, you get the base game. Now, the gold edition, you will get 3 days of early access, uh, 5,000 career bonus points again, uh, and with the 500 career rep points and the three additional paints games plus the base game. And then this is where it gets uh the additional things added on to the gold edition. So you’ll be getting VIP employees. We’ll circle back to that here in a few moments time. But on top of that, you’re going to get 10,000 career bonus dollars. So of course, you add that with the standard edition, you’re going to get $15,000 extra to fund your team. Uh as well, uh 1,000 career rep points. So, plus the 500 in the standard edition, you get 1,500 uh rep points for your career mode, which I’m curious to see what that’s going to be uh all about and how that’s going to work in the career mode. Plus, you get three DLC packs featuring 230 plus paint schemes. And here’s a new one, fire suits. That’s cool. I’m excited to see uh how that is going to work because we don’t really ever, you know, when we talk about DLCs, it’s just paint schemes. We don’t really ever hear about um fire suits, of course. So, that is really cool and I’m excited to see what kind of route they go with that. And as well, the season pass. So, the $24.99 season pass uh will also come with VIP employees, 10,000 career bonus dollars, 1,000 rep points, and uh three DLC packs. So, are they confirming that the season pass will just have three DLC packs? I wonder. Uh, but three DLC packs and over 200 paint schemes in just those three packs. Uh, that’s that’s pretty impressive. Uh, we’re talking a massive amount of paint schemes that are going to be added to this game going forward. So, that’s really cool to see. But, I mean, on top of that, looking at just the VIP employees, I think the number one thing that stands out to me in this post. And uh that that one is going to be maybe like well we see you know real life employees that we can hire like can I hire a real life crew chief say like is there an a VIP employee of a Cliff Daniels or something that I can hire on my team uh you know something like that and maybe VIP spotters like I mean I don’t really think that would really work out well because we already have TJ Major and Josh Williams as your spotters in the game. Uh but I mean engineers, pit crew people, I don’t know. I mean it’s going to be interesting to see. Uh obviously they haven’t really expanded beyond that. So I’m curious to see what direction they take that in. But Steam, like we mentioned there at the bottom there, you see Steam does not come with 3day early access. We still, I think, are in a bit of confusion with the Steam PC version of the game because, you know, I they just recently advertised the game uh release date in a mini trailer on an iRacing broadcast with the October 14th date and then included the Steam logo. Uh but then they also say Steam’s not coming out at the same time and and in my opinion they’re they’re doing a really poor job at marketing. Uh and uh they’re really misleading some people here in terms of the Steam version because they said it’s coming out later but then they advertised it’s coming out on the 14th and then the iRacing broadcast and now they’re coming out again saying Steam does not come with 3-day early access. So, does that mean the game’s coming out on October 14th on Steam or does that mean that it’s coming out at a later date and yeah, just when the game’s dropping on PCs when you get it without the 3-day early access? I really don’t know. Uh, but yeah, I mean I from what it looks like for me, I need to uh fork out a good $400 or $500 to buy a console, unfortunately. So, iRacing is really screwing me over here. And I’m sure they’re doing a lot of that to other people as well that wanted to be on uh PC when the game came out. But as well uh yeah, that’s the big DLC news that we got is three DLC packs of course. And you have to imagine the fire suits. I do wonder when they talk about fire suits, is that going to mean fire suits that are going to match paint schemes of drivers uh in the new DLC paint schemes or could it mean instead maybe fire suits that you can use for your career mode in your own team and the design? That that’s going to be interesting to see what kind of direction that takes because they did talk about already that we would have uh options to customize our fire suits and as well helmets, uh haulers, pit boxes. Uh but this one just mentions fire suits. So I have to maybe lean towards more of maybe it’s just like the fire suits that are going to line up with the paint schemes of the DLC drivers and of the DLCs that they’re putting out for the drivers and whatnot. But um just yeah, we knew we knew a pre-order bonus was coming. And next week, of course, we do get a gameplay trailer and that’s also on September 18th. And the day that trailer goes out, uh is the same day that we of course um are going to basically get the pre-orders that go live on the Xbox and PlayStation stores. Once we get some Steam news again, I will very much of course be updating on that. It it is frustrating that the PC side of things is being left in the dark and in confusion. Not necessarily in the dark, but yeah, in confusion of just like what’s actually going on here because we just don’t really seem to know. Uh but yeah, I mean the standard game, of course, you still get a little bit of an incentive and I mean hefty price, but that’s the price of gaming these days. Of course, the base game is going to be $60 USD. Uh the gold edition $80 USD. That’s not necessarily out of the ordinary. That’s pretty straightforward. It’s pretty standard for games nowadays. And uh yeah, I mean it’s it’s hefty, but that’s that’s pretty typical. And then of course the $25 uh season pass. I mean, what do you guys think of the prices there? I feel like they’ve honestly done a decent job on the pricing here uh and have not just overcharged everybody, which is a very common trend uh nowadays and not only gaming, but I mean everything in general. So yeah, looking forward to it. And yeah, next thing that we have Beyond Now is just the gameplay trailer coming out. Uh, and I didn’t touch upon that yesterday, but they did put out a mini teaser um where they just had cars flying by at Daytona uh coming at headon on the camera. I thought that looked pretty good. Uh, one thing we noticed, there was a couple drivers in there that we didn’t really have on the cup roster. the 78 uh car uh for BJ Mloud’s team was actually uh in that trailer and that was a team and car that was not originally listed in the of course cup series roster. So there’s some interesting things changing already on that side of things. But overall I’m looking forward to it and the pre-order bonuses seem pretty straightforward, seem pretty cool. Um I think you know you’re getting some decent value there. Uh, and yeah, I mean, next time I’ll talk to you guys about this game. Hopefully will be next week when we do a deep dive in the gameplay trailer and we’re going to probably get a pretty lengthy video out of that because I’m going to be dissecting pretty well everything from AI to visuals, lighting, all the stuff that we see on the screen happening. We’re going to be diving deep into. So, uh, bear with me on that. I’m excited for the gameplay to come out uh, next Friday. And yeah, I’ll see you guys then. Thank you for watching. Let me know your thoughts down below on the pre-order uh, bonuses of this game. I’ll see you guys later. Thank you for watching. Have a great day. Hold on. Just to butt in. NASCAR 25 just actually responded to my tweet saying that Steam is officially about one month behind console. We’re locking in the final date and will announce it early next week, but because there is no pre-order for Steam, there is no early access when it arrives. That sucks. It’s I thank you NASCAR 25 for finally letting us know first of all, but man, I really did not want to have to fork out uh you know4 $500 for a console that is uh not not in line with my current economic situation. So, um it is what it is, but uh yeah, I’m gonna have to do it and bite the bullet there and and suffer for a little while. But uh yeah, I’ll do what I can. That’s going to wrap it up here. I’ll see you guys later.
