I just got the Donkey Kong Bonanza DLC. Is it worth $20? DK Bonanza was already a 10 out of 10 mustplay when I first got it on the Switch, too. But how does the DLC fair? Basically, what you’re buying is DK Island, which shouldn’t have been in the base game anyways, but I digress. It’s cool that it’s finally here, and it’s pretty big to explore and roam around, but what else is there anyways? The new Emerald Rush mode only unlocks after you beat the main game. You work together with void Kong hunting for emeralds under a time limit. Basically, now the game is a rogike with perk trees and level up rewards for each run you play. Cool thing about this too is that you can actually play the rogike mode on all of the levels of the game. Is it worth it though? Personally, it’s not that compelling to me and doesn’t really add that much content as much as I’d hope for, but that’s subjective. But what do you think though? Is it worth the price?
