NASCAR 25: DLC Paint Schemes Preview!
Happy Friday everyone. I’m about three to four days late on this. I apologize. We had to upload playing the game video. We had to upload the gameplay video yesterday. So, a lot of uh important things that we had to upload. And now we’re going to get to this. So, if you’re not on Twitter, you wouldn’t have seen this, but the Microsoft Store has updated um the October DLC pack. So, we made a video on this, how this was uh showcasing basically how many uh paint schemes and the 30 fire suits. I did not ask about the fire suits. I should have asked about that cuz I still don’t really know what that entails. Will that be for the Avatar? Will that be for some of these real life drivers? Not entirely sure on that. But we do have a total of 28 screenshots. So, a lot of new screenshots and these are going to be new paint schemes that you will see in the game for the October DLC. Now, you will see over the course of these screenshots, they’re going to be paint schemes for all four different series. So, just take note of that. um that when we have the 70 paint schemes, it’s going to be 70 paint schemes across four different series. And uh you know that will be the the theme for also the November DLC, the December DLC. Um so what I would be expect this is just expectations trying to assume in the distance is that you know I wouldn’t expect like your favorite driver to have eight different paint schemes if you know what I mean. Like we have had previous games I I remember very well NASCAR Heat 4, NASCAR Heat 5 had drivers with, you know, uh Kevin Harvick would have like 11 different paint schemes and Chase Elliot had like eight different paint schemes. Denny Hamlin had seven different paint schemes and um go on and on and on, you know, right? Uh so I I wouldn’t be expecting that because you have to think about all the different paint schemes for all the different drivers for all the different series. It’s a lot of different pain. So, I would I would probably this is just my expectation, right? Uh I would probably expect maybe your favorite driver could have three to four to five maybe. I mean, I I I don’t really know. There’s We know what modern NASCAR is like now. Paint schemes. There’s a lot of different ones cuz sponsors don’t usually now sponsor an entire season like it was 20 years ago. So, uh we have a lot of different paint schemes. Like for example, Denny Hamlin doesn’t have FedEx anymore. So, he has uh the the King Hawaiian paint scheme, which we see right there in that screenshot. He has progressive uh and he has a couple others as well. So, uh just, you know, heads up for that. Um I also want to give a shout out all the Patreon members. Thank you guys for your support. Sorry I’ve not been giving you guys a shout out, guys. You want to help out the channel. If you’re new to the channel, you want to help out the channel in any way, uh we’ve kept it $5 this entire um this entire time on the channel. Uh it is just to help out the channel. don’t feel the need to do so if you don’t want to, but if you want to help out the channel, greatly appreciated. Uh affiliate links if you want some benefit for yourself in terms of homefield apparel and mosa racing in the description down below. So, let’s run through these. Ross Chastain uh in the moose uh paint scheme. Uh so, I think I think he has a little watermelon over there, but I can’t really tell. Denny Hamlin in the Kings Hawaiian paint scheme. And also, I think uh Drive-Thru mentioned this on Twitter. You can actually see the paint scheme right there in the the wheel well of the uh the car and iRacing does something similar. So when this game releases on PC, it will be interesting to see will the modding and the modding community um will you guys be able to use some of those iRacing schemes and try to mod them in a NASCAR 25? will be very fascinating because these assets are from iRacing and apparently that is the hint. I’m not a uh paint um custom paint job connoisseur. I don’t do custom paint schemes. I don’t really know how it all works, but I do know like you have the map of how the paint scheme works. And apparently um drive-thru seeing this, he said that it is basically the same as as iRacing. So that’s a little hint right there um that it could be something similar. Um, we have AJ Almondinger and his Leaf filter paint scheme. Another look at Circuit of the Americas as well. Um, so you will see some of the tracks and track surfaces. Uh, which will be very good in this game really. Anyways, uh, we have Chase Brisco in his Bass Pro Shop or one of his Bass Pro Shop paint schemes. Um, nice looking there. Uh, we have Christopher Bell in his Interstate Batteries paint scheme. Every time I see an Interstate Batteries paint scheme, I think of uh obviously Bobby Lebanon at first, but then like afterwards I would think of um uh Kyle Bush and then Joe Gibbs was like, “Ah, we’re going to throw Interstate Batteries on everyone.” So then Carl Edwards had Interstate Batteries paint scheme. Matt Kenzith had an Interstate Batteries paint scheme. Denny Hamlin had Interstate Batteries paint scheme and I was like, “This is annoying me because I’m used to seeing Interstate Batteries on one driver and then Joe Gibbs was like, “No, we’re going to put it on all our drivers.” And then there were like races where you had two Interstate Batteries cars and I was like what is happening? And then like Mack Kenth had an Interstate Batteries paint scheme but the back of his car was yellow with the DeWalt paint scheme and I was like what is happening? I’m sorry I’m going off on a tyrant but like that was a confusing time for me and I still don’t like it. Like I still don’t I’m sorry. Like please stick your sponsor on one driver. I don’t I don’t I understand the business concept of it. I pro probably they probably get a higher rate of return um on their investment for being on multiple cars, but still very weird. Okay, it’s funny because then Red Bull could have two different two cars of the same paint scheme and it’s like, oh, it’s completely okay. Double standards. Um we continue on. Uh one of my favorite paint schemes I I must say because it is involving dogs. Uh ally paint scheme, best friends paint scheme. You have a a husky right there that reminds me a lot of my little husky. Um, so, uh, I will probably be running this paint scheme online. I just choose what the best paint scheme is. Purple and orange is a very interesting combination. I will say I don’t really purple and orange. Yeah, I don’t I don’t know. It’s just very weird. But you put dogs on the car and I will be there because dogs. Here is Red Bull. So, this was um, was this put on? I think this was actually this. No, this wasn’t the exact screenshot that was used before, but this is another screenshot of Shane Van Gizburgen in the 88. Red Bull will be in the game. Um, so that will be very fascinating and very fun to uh to run as. It is quite crazy over the last 20 years to see how an energy drink company can be so synonymous with motorsports nowadays. Like you see it in Formula 1, you think Max Versstappen. You see it in NASCAR and you’re like, “Oh, that’s a good looking paint scheme. I like it. Let’s go. Like, it’s just they’ve been able to like Red Bull is just so intertwined with motorsports nowadays and uh extreme sports in general. I have Skye’s hair in my mouth. That’s why I keep going like that. That’s pretty funny to see. Um Kyle Larson, his indie uh paint scheme or the, you know, doing the double paint scheme. Um so that is here as well. Uh I definitely very much like that that scheme. Um to be honest, if that was his actually like his original scheme, I think it’d be pretty cool. I like I like the blue, white, and orange. Um, very nice. And then we head into the Expendy series. So again, 70 paint schemes. I wouldn’t say those are all the Cup Series paint schemes. You’re not only going to have eight in a pack of 70, but the eight that they did show, you have Larson, SVG, Bowman, Bell, Brisco, Almondinger, Hamlin, and Chastain all get one paint scheme. Um, and so we’ll see. I would I would expect like the most a cup guy could have is probably five to six. Um, and I don’t even know if they’re going to get to that level. So, I think the better comparison maybe for the amount of paint schemes for the Cup guys, it’s probably like uh like a Thunder 2003, Thunder 2004, like other than that in those games, you know, uh Tony Stewart and Bobby Leani had like 10 different paint schemes, but you think of the other guys, they had like uh three to four and it was like previous year paint schemes as well. Um, which I’ve also find just I’m just spitballing here very fascinating to see would iRacing take that approach. So in the EA days of like Thunder 2003, Thunder 2004, Chase for the Cup 2005, you would have the extra schemes actually be previous year paint schemes, right? So would they do that in future iterations of this game? Like would you in that way you build the paint scheme portfolio, right? Like if I wanted, let’s say two years from now, I wanted to run this specific Red Bull SVG paint scheme, will this specific paint scheme be in a game two years from now? And then you could have like eight, nine, 10 paint schemes for drivers because it builds up over the course of the years. Um, or will they use it in more of a NASCAR Heat style where each year had like that year’s paint schemes, right, and not from the previous year. So, two different methods. Uh we’ll be interested to see what they do in the future for that. So we go to the expanded series. Justin Algy um has his uh paint scheme here, the uh Jarrett paint scheme. Uh and then we uh carry on. Got getting more hair in my mouth. Ah quad lock paint scheme for the nine. God damn Sky, leave me alone. Uh we got Williams, Josh Williams here in the call 8101 uh every dig every time paint scheme. Always dig. I think that’s going to be a popular paint scheme on uh online. Um Harrison Burton in the 25. Uh and we move on. A shot of the Brickyard here. Brendan P in the 44. Uh we have a shot of Connor Zillish in the Blue Hog uh paint scheme. Blues Hogs paint scheme. Um and I think this could be Tallaladega. This could be Atlanta. I remember in a pre and when the gameplay trailer I thought it was Tallaladega, but then you guys corrected me and it was Atlanta. Uh I don’t think Tallaladega is this dark anymore. Uh it’s I don’t think it is. Um so this could be Atlanta. I guess we’ll find out. Um Craftsman Truck Series Raj Shastain 44. Uh so the Niss Motorsports paint scheme there in the JF Electric uh scheme. Uh and then you have uh BJ Jones uh in the uh what is that? Spreer paint scheme. Uh that’s actually a very nice looking paint scheme. Uh we have Brent Cruz in the one JBL uh paint scheme. We have uh Enfinger in the nine champion paint scheme. We have Bailey Curry in the 44, a precision paint scheme. Um and then we have Spencer Boyd in the 76 uh Tibet paint scheme. A lot of these it’s I mean these are I’m I’m not going to say why. For some reason, this paint scheme in particular reminds me of some of the NASCAR 2005 fantasy schemes, but this is a real scheme. Even though just this color pattern and I don’t know, it just reminds me of that. Um, and then we head into Arca. Queen again has an Arca paint scheme here. 28. Um, Corey Heim. First time we’ve seen him. Uh, he has his Mobile One paint scheme. I really much I don’t know why. Mobile One, Red Bull, if he puts something with wings on there, it makes me think it’s cool. Um, I also, it’s just you have a, you know, the horse wing here and then you have the wings here. I like it. Uh, obviously the color pattern, I like it. Um, the five in the Arca series as well. Uh, and then the five in the truck series. Uh the Octane 94 so always gota have so in a NASCAR video game you know that um the 19 uh Napa 100 arcane scheme. Uh the 15 Victoria’s ow ow I bit my tongue. Okay, that’s terrible. Ah, I’m going to feel that for now the next day or two. Uh the 15 Victoria’s voice paint scheme. Hammer in the 19 hydra the hydraulics paint scheme. Unfortunately, you do not get hydraulics actually involved in this. your truck will not start bouncing up and down like your Eddie Guerrero. Uh that is not going to be happening. Um and then oh I missed one cup guy. Sorry about that. Uh Brad Keslowski in the six castroll paint schemes. So those are the 28 screenshots um that are in this uh little uh look. So again that is for the October DLC. If you purchase the gold edition, this comes with it uh as well as November as well as December. If you p purchase the standard edition, you can purchase this on its own. So, it’s up to you guys. If you don’t care about the added benefits, like I’m going give you guys some advice here. Let’s go to the gold edition. If you don’t care for Let me uh do they Yeah. Okay. So, if you don’t care for the uh 5,000 career bonus dollars, the 500 career rep points, and um all the stuff that we went through it in the previous um one of the previous videos, the difference between the standard and the gold edition. If you don’t care for those things, if you don’t care for 72 early access, but for some reason you like some of the paint schemes, right? Um so, let’s go over here. you like some of these paint schemes, you don’t care for those other things, but you want some of these paint schemes, you could purchase this one, uh, where is it, the standard edition, and then just purchase the October DLC. Now, I don’t know what the price of that October DLC is going to be, but you could purchase that. Um, does it actually have a price? It could actually have a price. Hold on, let me go find it again. Uh, is the pre-order DLC? Pre-order DLC gets you three cover driver schemes, 5,000 uh career bonus dollars, 500 career rep. Um, where is I’m looking all over for it. Season pass is uh no price. Here we go. October. Does it have a price? No, it doesn’t have a price, right? It’s not going to say what the price is, but basically, you can purchase them separately if you wanted to. Uh, or you could just buy the gold edition for $80 and never worry about it and you’ll get literally everything. So, it’s it’s completely up to you guys. You guys have a preference uh or a choice of what you want to do. Um, so yeah, that is going to be that for me. if there’s any more news on NASCAR 25. We are two weeks away now. I think we’re 15 days away from Gold Edition launching, so I don’t expect that much more news. Um pro maybe like a career mode deep dive. We still have not seen really what career mode we’ve seen like the menus, but we haven’t seen too much of it. So maybe they’ll do something of that. Maybe there’ll be some online information. We have not seen anything about like what online looks like and stuff like that. So, um, maybe there still is more to reveal before this game releases in two weeks. If there’s anything more, I’ll come to you guys with more information. Thank you guys so much for your support. We’re up to 86,200 subscribers, so please please keep keep subscribing. We are less than 14,000 away from 100,000, so hopefully we can reach there um in the not too distant future. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, guys. Take care of yourselves. I’ll see you guys soon. Peace out.
