NEW DLC for Gold Mining Simulator – Gems and Glory – Reaction

Hello, hello, and welcome to the channel. My name is Quad, and check it out. Freaking Code Horizon over here, who does Gold Mining Simulator, the game formerly known as Gold Rush, the game. They just dropped an official trailer for a new DLC called Gems and Glory. Uh, we’re going to take a look at the Steam page as well. We could see here it is going to be released Q4 of 2025. Tomorrow is October the 1st. That literally starts the beginning of Q4. Um, there isn’t an exact date on here yet. But we can expect it probably anytime between tomorrow and the end of December. But let’s check out the Steam page before we actually watch the video. There are new resources, which is going to be the gems, of course. So, as well as gold, you can install extensions into your wash plant and hunt for gems, and you can sell the gems to earn money early on, or you can exchange them for skins and discover new digging spots. So, the new map is full of places to explore. You will experience landslides, marshlands, and open pit mines. And you might even stumble upon an old abandoned cave mine, which is kind of exciting. I don’t know how many parcels are going to be on this map, but I’m here for it. Now, I’m very excited about this new map because you know what that means? They likely build it from the ground up and will likely be able to eliminate those chunk loads. If you guys remember in the original map, when you drive your truck around the map, it would oftent times basically hit like one frame per second as the chunk kind of loads. So, I’m excited to see if that’s been ironed out. So, it does look like there will be multiple parcels here because it says each parcel will present different challenges such as fallen rocks and logs that need to be removed, flooded land, machines sinking in the water, and overwhelming and darkness of the mines. So, that’s really exciting. And then if we take a look here, here is the backhoe loader. Take control of a versatile backhoe loader to dig, transport, and shape the terrain with precision. Perfect for loading material and speeding up your mining operations early on. Yeah, so it sounds like it’ll be like a early game kind of piece of equipment, right? Alternative game start. So basically, this will be just like a separate way to start from the original map, but thanks to its progressive development, this map offers many hours of gameplay, providing a great new starting point all the way through Midame. It will appeal to both new and veteran players. Yeah, indeed it will, bro. And then unravel hidden secrets. Many of the places and buildings have their own stories to tell. Some new mechanics will help you with resource control and speed up the early grind. This DLC is your golden opportunity to redefine your mining experience. Don’t miss a chance to take your gold mining to a whole new level with this fourth DLC. Yeah, dude. I’m excited to use it. Let’s go watch the video now. I’m just going to play it all the way through once for the first time and then we’ll go back and watch it a second time and pause and kind of uh look at stuff. But if you want to watch it on your own time, the link to the video will be down below. But let’s just go and get started. I will be playing this in 1440p. It’s not 60, so that’s a little bit concerning, but it’s fine. 1440p it is. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Okay. Okay. Well, there it is, bro. That’s the entire thing. Let’s go back and let’s actually uh analyze some of this real quick. So, one interesting thing to note here on this picture is all of the conveyor belts, right? There’s like four of them or maybe even five that are all daisy chained together up there. Now, also in this image, uh there is a red excavator up here, it seems like that will likely just be a cosmetic kind of prop in the background rather than being used. Yeah. And if we look on this one, uh, we can see that the dynamite will be placed in very designated spots. It’s not like you could just throw it all around. Uh, if we take a look at this page, it looks like it’s going to be pretty large map. So, we can see the warehouse over here on the left. So, way back in the distance. Uh, looks like we’d have to cross this bridge and bring the excavator all the way over here. So, yeah, it’s really exciting to see how big these maps are. And as we could see, yeah, you just kind of throw your rocks right off into the river. And if we look on this page, a river powered hog pan. So that’s kind of exciting. You don’t have to actually hook up any kind of water sources as the river will just do the work for you for that early game grind. And then check it out right here. They’re actually using the mini DLC uh to actually load up that hog pan down there. Rebuild broken bridges. So it looks like somebody was inspired by Roadcraft. Now, we can see here them picking up the pieces and just dropping them right into the bridge. It looks like it’ll be not a massive process, just like a three-step process here. But if we look in the distance, it looks like there is some more pieces of a bridge uh kind of just laying inside the river down there. And then we can see on here that some of the parcels will be flooded and then you have to hook up to this is probably a pump house to drain it. And then we can see it actually getting drained right there. But if we look here, if we watch the water, it looks like it is flooding back up again. So, I don’t know if that’s due from rain or maybe there’s some kind of stream or like if we look back here in the right corner, there is that marsh. So, maybe it just constantly just kind of gets flooded and we have to periodically uh drain it out. And then we could see right here that they’re setting up the main wash plant. We got the shaker, the trauma, all of that. And if we come back just a little bit, it looks like they’re setting it up right over here on the left. And then yeah, it’s kind of interesting about all of these hoppers and conveyors. I wonder if you start with just the one and then you have to kind of drive up there, dump it, and as you kind of gain more money, you can just start plopping down more of those. But it looks like there’s four of them all lined up over here, those conveyor belts. And then, yeah, there’s going to be new equipment, uh, gem traps, which is very similar to the big slle boxes that we have to dig out by hand. And then here’s a good example of them hand panning for the gems. Yeah, looks like rubies, maybe diamonds. I don’t know what these colors will be. Cobalt maybe. And then if we take a look here, this is the old mine. It looks like there’s a huge pile of just kind of dirt over here. Once you light it up, we’ll be able to dig out this dirt and then process it. Looks like you just back in an old mobile wash plant inside this thing. But if we look over here on the right, it looks like another hog pan area possibly. We can see a line coming out of it right there. And then just briefly see it just on the right there. But yeah, that’s going to be it you guys. So freaking super exciting. I can’t wait for this thing to drop. And as soon as it does, we’re going to be starting a brand spanky new season, a brand new game over there uh on this new map. But if you want to check it out, the links to it will be down below for the video as well as the Steam page. So yeah, it’s pretty exciting that they’re still working on uh the original gold mining simulator so much, but I’m very excited to see how the map is going to perform because we all know with the original gold mining simulator, the original map, the original developers, uh it was really poorly optimized. As we all know, when you’re driving around in your pickup truck, a lot of times the game basically just drops to one frame per second as the new chunk loads in. So, I’m assuming they built this map from the ground up and hopefully all of those performance issues will be ironed out. Anyways guys, that’s going to be it for this video. Like I said, all the links are in the description if you want to check them out yourself. My name is Quad. Thank you guys for watching. Hope you enjoyed and we’ll see you guys in another one later on everybody. Later. Later on.
