2K OFFICIALLY Confirms NEW DLC W/ Release Date! | WWE 2K25
What’s going on everybody? Kenny Bomb is in the building and it looks like the legend of Brocktober is coming into fruition very early on because 2K just made the massive announcement that we have all been anticipating. Now, we don’t have Brock Formation yet and I don’t even know if that works, but this announcement gets us very close. So, we got to talk about it. The DLC pack, not the full game, but let’s get into it. [Music] My man, boy, they coming down. All right. So, unless you’ve been hit with a tombstone and buried alive somewhere, then you’ve seen these rumors flying around over the last month that much like we got with the Bray Wyatt edition for WWE 2K24, 2K25 would be getting a farewell tour edition for John Cena. Well, now that has been officially confirmed by WWE Games themselves. They post the last time is now. And they put a cap behind that. And I think this whole farewell tour edition is capped because John Cena will not wrestle his last match in December. The guys in Saudi Arabia will offer him a crazy bag before it’s all said and done and John Cena will be in the ring again. But they continue on coming soon to WWE 2K26. And they actually give us a date October 16th. I’m sorry. What I meant to say was Broctober 16th. But let’s jump in and take a look at this clip we got from WWE Games to see if they give us everything that’s going to be included. Almost played it with the music. That would have been bad. But let’s check it out. So, straight off the top, we see heel John Cena. We get throwback John Cena, which was my absolute favorite. We see he gets a new entrance motion. That’s Wrestlemania John Cena, the bad boy. All right, so this was a nice small clip to get people talking and get the excitement juices flowing, but I’m surprised they came right out with the release date. Now, it’s not super surprising, I would say, because it’s 2 weeks away. We’re getting this thing very soon. I was thinking we would get it at the end of the month, but it looks like they are pushing it right out. And we may not have seen everything here, but let’s talk about what was revealed. Now, here we see John Cena from Wrestlemania 41. And obviously you can get this John Cena from Community Creations, but what’s special about this John Cena is the fact that this is actually healed John Cena because he has the entrance. Not only does he have the entrance, this is something that’s important to a lot of people, he has the Titan as well. So this is full-blown Heel John Cena from Wrestlemania 41. A lot of people say heal John Cena sucked and I would absolutely agree. And I don’t think it’s his fault at all. I think if Vince McMahon was still at the helm, then he John Cena would have been a lot better. This is a character he created. So, I don’t think he would have let John Cena go out like he did in 2025. Nasty work. John Cena was supposed to have the biggest heel run of all time and they completely blew it. Now he’s face again. Hate to see it, but heal John Cena, I think he does deserve to be immortalized. So, here we have him in WWE 2K25. But we have my favorite John Cena here as well. And you know what? I think the age on the face looks really good here also. I wish they played this John Cena’s music instead though. Word life. This is basic Doug. I’m untouchable, but I’m forcing you to feel me. Please don’t get me singing it. But I think this one looks great as well. Your finisher is the F5. My finisher is the FU. Is this a new entrance or is this one that’s tucked away somewhere in community creations? cuz I don’t create wrestlers too much anymore. So, y’all let me know in the comment section. Are we getting two new entrances in this pack? So, there we see heel John Cena. Your last time seeing me. Not only does he have the Trrons Wrestlemania shirt, Wrestlemania logo on the towel. See him do the little ring pound. All right. So, I don’t think there’s anything to complain about in this video. I think everything we see here is really good. Not sure if people are going to be complaining because you can download this John Cena and community creations, but as we see, he does have a new entrance. He has his whole heel persona. So, let’s see how people feel in the comments. Hopefully, we don’t have people crashing out about Brock Lesnar because I will have to reply to those comments. So, we got Strier asking a good question. How much? One thing these game companies do a lot is they’ll advertise everything that you can get in the pack, but never tell you the price. There was a big commotion with Xbox Game Pass where they came out and explained everything. Here’s what you get in this one. Here’s what you get in this one. Here’s what you get in this one. We’re adding more value than ever, but nowhere in that advertisement did they mention the fact that the price was going up. It’s crazy. You’ve got to start advertising the price with these things. Personally, I believe if you’re ready to drop the release date, you should probably reveal the price along with it because things are expensive these days. And even if the pack is as low as $10, some people simply don’t have it. So, I think revealing that price early can benefit 2K and the player because it gives people time to save up money so they can buy it whenever it’s released. And hopefully this thing is only $10 because I think there’s a chance that it’s 20. And if it’s 20, I’m still going to buy it. But I’ll probably only be able to give away two. So, we’ll see how that goes. But yes, Stza, that is a good question. How much is this thing? Jaden, there we go. We got some people happy. Jaden says, “Okay, I am happy with this.” So, no crash out so far. L2K Games says, “Ah, is that a yawn?” Michael Mortimer says, “Is there a way to get this along with Ron Cena without a You know what? We’re going to reply to this. I’m sorry. We’re going to reply to that. We’re just going to give him the beast. We’re not going to crash out on them. We got Duffy dropping some nasty language down there. So, we had to reset a little bit. But Brett says, “For those who are wondering if this is included with the season pass, it’s not. It’s like the other previous surprise DLC’s. It’ll cost $9.99.” Now, I believe those previous DLC packs with the Bray Wyatt and Bad Bunny, they did cost $9.99, but this one is expected to be pretty big. And while it could and should very well be $9.99, I will say, don’t take Brett’s word as gold here because it has not been officially confined. We got more excitement from the main event slayer. And this is what I like to see because everything is always surrounded in such negativity. Conde says for free. Bro, if you think you getting this for free, cancel Christmas. Game Vault says, “How many dollars?” We got the Viper showing off John Cena from Wrestlemania 41. So, I’ll take that as excitement as well. Matt Sutton, great. I can’t wait to spend $500 to unlock these through my faction. Well, I don’t think you’re going to have to spend $500 because if you buy the pack, you get them up front.
