F1 Manager 24 [Cadillac – modded series]: S01/R07 – Canada 2026
[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Hello again. And I am Jab and welcome back to Air For Manager 24 creator team career here on the PC with Cadillac. Uh still in our first season 2026 and uh we are heading tonight to Canada. [Music] So, back after a night off because I went down a rabbit hole and uh I think I went to bed eventually about 7:00 last night or yesterday evening. So, I’d been up for oh, a long time. A very long time. Over 24 hours. Just uh yeah, I knew I wouldn’t be in any kind of shape to uh to do the stream. And uh within about uh I I I could have probably powered through for another hour or two before I finally decided to call it a night, but I wouldn’t have made the uh the whole stream. And uh so yeah, just taking the night off and coming back tonight after a good a good amount of sleep, I think, was the right call. Uh so uh we are heading to Canada tonight to Montreal for the Canadian Grand Prix and it’s our first ever sprint at Canada. uh third sprint of the season. Uh George has uh won one, Max has won one, but George is definitely gaining momentum in the uh racing uh itself, the main races. He’s won three now this season. Now, you see top of the driver standings by 20 points in Charlotte. Llair’s picked up a win. Max has not picked one up yet. Lando has a win and Oscar has the other win. They are the uh the four winners of the opening six Grand Prix. Uh for a while we were having multiple winners, but George is on a little bit of a roll at the moment. That Mercedes starting to really come good. So uh if we take a look at the constructors, you can see Mercedes have gone top. They picked up a massive massive amount of points on uh on Monday when we went to Miami. 52 points across the Grand Prix and the sprint. Uh just eight points for Ferrari, 15 for McLaren, 21 for for Red Bull. So Mercedes absolutely jumping on uh the misfortunes of their rivals and uh stealing a march on everybody else. They now lead uh the constructors by 16 points in the uh pit stop challenge. McLaren currently have the best pit crew, but Racing Wolves are making their way forward. I say he’s also looking pretty strong here again. Big hall of points uh 33 points there uh in the last Grand Prix. Uh we’re still kind of hanging on in around the bottom reaches within uh within splitting distance of eighth. Aston starting to pull away a little bit now. They’re 13 points clear, but the big gap is really to Alpine. So I think if we can keep chipping away at our performances and improve our pick crew, seventh is very much, you know, up for grabs at the moment. Maybe even better by the end of the season, but I think at the moment we’re fighting for seventh. It’ll be worth uh a couple of million at the end of the season. So fingers crossed we can uh start pumping in some quicker, more consistent, quicker times in our pit stops. Evening Wayne, evening Espanza, evening Dino. Good to see you guys. Hello to everyone else who’s lurking in the chat as well. Please do feel free to say hello. Uh let’s uh have a quick look at our cars, shall we? Uh so uh something is on fire or was on fire. Uh it’s design center is back again now. It was on fire. It’s fixed. We’ve got two research projects going through. uh a chassis uh four weeks away and just under three weeks until the underfloor research project is complete. That’s the first one that we’ve dumped any hours into. Uh and then uh the other main areas we’ll be dumping ours into will be the front and rear wings and the suspension and then everything else will just kind of you know uh do what we can where we can. So, the side pods will probably take a little bit of a hit uh in terms of their downforce because I don’t think we’re going to have the ability to bring those up to to meet the uh downforce changes that are going to be brought into play. But, as long as we can improve the cooling for next season, that’s the biggest primary area of concern. Uh and that won’t be affected by the new regs for next season. Uh so, uh that’ll help preserve our engines next year. Uh, and then the suspension. We’re going to focus on that partly because it’s one of the things that’s going to be affected downforce wise and also we really want to work on our tire wear uh as well. Make sure that that’s gets a a really nice boost. Uh, front and rear wings obviously they are the two key areas alongside the underfloor uh that are going to really be focused on downforce. So uh again hours in those bit of a no-brainer. And then we’ll just pad out uh the other parts where we can with little small projects uh like this chassis project we just got started. Uh but we’re 4 days away from uh brand new wings being uh available to be built finally uh Mark 2 front and rear wings. Uh we will have to wait until just after Montreal for that. But we should have them in time for the next race which I think is Monaco. Uh it is Monaco. How far away have we got? We got less than a week. So they will be ready here and then we’ll have one of each there for practice there. If we rush them, which I don’t think we can afford to do for both anyway, then we could have two here, one of each there, and then one of each here for quali, but I don’t think we’ll have enough money for that. Uh, unfortunately, we’ll get um however much we get at the end of this weekend. Uh, hopefully just under 900k. Um, oh, sorry, just under 100k. Uh, and then we’ll get an extra 90k, I think, on the Monday from our tour center. Let’s see. Tour center. Tour center. Tour center. Uh, 96 97,000 a week. So, yeah, we might be able to do Let’s see. No, wait. It’s uh front wings are 220 two uh 250 I think. Rear wings I think are 275 to build. Trying to plan this out in my head to see how much we can actually afford to do. Uh and I haven’t got the slots free for 5 days. Ah okay. So never mind. Um we can’t get them both done. uh even if we rush them. So, we might just have to go into Monaco as we are and then put them on for the next race. What will the next race be? Barcelona. So, yeah, definitely want improvements to Downforce for Barcelona. And uh we’ll have a nice little bit of time by the look of it. Yeah, we’ll have two weeks between Monaco and Barca, so that’ll be good. And then there is that sponsor plan. We didn’t get our um predictions to put in last time. So, we might not get any money here on the 18th. If that happens, we will have to do a little bit of tinkering with the safe game thing. uh the not save game thing, the uh editing the save file in the online database editor to give us the 6 million that we should have had uh from our sponsor million uh sponsor period. I don’t know if we would have had a mandatory activity as well or not, but who knows? It never even gave us the option. It just went straight through. So, I don’t know what’s going to happen when we hit the 18th of June. We may get some money. We may not. If we don’t, we’ll go in and we’ll modd in. exactly 6 million which will be slightly less uh by a couple of thousand by a few thousand less than what we would have got but close enough. Uh so yeah and then after that we’ll have a new ATR period as well which will be the next big research project. So a front wing probably would be the next one. Uh our drivers are looking a little bit chipper going into tonight’s Grand Prix. A horrible weekend for Czecho. Let’s hope he has an improvement this weekend. Uh Miami was not kind to him. We had to manually retire in the sprint. Uh and then he was better in the Grand Prix, but it took a little while for him to get going. So yeah, we’ll see. We’ll see what tonight brings. Uh it should be dry. We do have a weather forecast. There we go. So it’s going to be uh pretty hot on Friday. Uh a little bit cooler on the Saturday. And then temperatures will go back up a little bit on the Sunday. And no cloud cover either. So tires could get very hot on uh on race day. Let’s set our targets. We’re going to go 18th or higher for both cars. I think that should be easily achievable. And uh off we go to Montreal. Formula 1 has arrived here in Quebec and we’re excited to get underway. Let’s hope it’s not going to be Groundhog Day. The local rodents have disrupted more than one race day here in the past. The Canadian Grand Prix is ready to kick off, and the only drama on the tracks we want to see is the best drivers in the world battling it out for a place on that podium. Don’t forget, the schedule this weekend sees the drivers take to the track for an allout sprint race. A good opportunity to clinch some crucial championship points. It’s shaping up to be a great weekend, so don’t go anywhere. [Music] All right. Uh once again, because this is a sprint, no rookies getting a chance behind the wheel. Uh bit of a shame. Normally I like to give them a run out here, but we’ve only got the one session. We’re going to uh run the hards. We’re going to try and run the whole uh if we can the whole session, so we’re going to need about 50 laps worth of fuel cuz it’s quite a short lap here. Uh we need to put some older parts in where we can. That engine will be fine. Uh the ERS should be fine as well on this car. Oh, we have that’s the same one we’re using. We’re going to carry on with that. Uh, and the gearbox. Yeah, we have to stick with this gearbox. 6% gearbox will not last the whole session. Just asking for trouble. Uh, we had an engine that explode. Well, I say explode, die horribly on Jezeco in free practice at Miami. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why he was just very lackluster in the sprint. I don’t think it’s the only reason, but look at this. Our our second engine’s down to 68% already. That’s not good cuz we haven’t had a a spare unit to put in in practice properly. And the one we did use in Miami gone. So, that gearbox should be fine. There we go. a little bit unhealthy in places. If the ERS goes in the session, that’s not a problem. We can continue on until the checkered flag when the ERS breaks. Uh but yeah, a gearbox or engine uh brake would end the session for that driver. So, let’s get some setup stuff done. Let’s just put the fuel in first before I forget. And again, protect the battery as best we can. It’s the only thing we can really protect these days. Uh, so let’s go with the same setup on both cars. Excuse me. 3 and 1/2, a 12. We’ll go 28. Uh, we’ll push this up a little bit. And we’ll push this up a little bit more. So there. Let’s use that setup on both cars. And hopefully one of them will be close and the other one I hope won’t be too hard to to pinpoint what needs to change. There we go. We are ready. Let’s send them to the track. [Music] So now we have green light. [Music] Now I am curious if we’re going to have that horrible uh frame jitter when we get to the hairpin or coming out of the hairpin that we had last time we were at this track. Let’s see if it’s reset. It has. I don’t know why it does that. Always seems to do it every single time. I just don’t know why it keeps turning that back on. Good for me, too. And radio attack. Yes. Loud and clear. Copy. Loud and clear. Get the tires ready. [Applause] [Music] Wonder if these tires will actually last the full 50 50 laps. [Music] They should in theory, but who knows? Uh, let’s see. Uh, Hamilton sitting out this practice session. Dino Beanovic will get a run out in the Ferrari. Uh, same for Pestra. He’s sitting out. That frame rate’s okay so far. It was this next shot. Yeah, there we go. It’s still doing it for some reason. that little transitional shot there, the frame rate tanks. I don’t understand why it is. I mean, it’s something to do with the Maximal graphics mod, but I just don’t know why it’s specifically on this particular version of the engine that it’s doing it and just on that one corner. Uh, so yeah, Pastry sitting out for Ugo. Uh, Victor Martan is in for Antony Nelli. [Music] And that’s it for the rookies. Just those three Tire temp still on the low side. Are they continuing to warm up? I wonder. [Music] And our tire wear or not tire wear, sorry. Our pace is going to be way off because we are so fat with fuel and say we’re carrying 50 laps worth of fuel uh at the start of this run. So, even though we’re not saving engines, we’re not avoiding curbs, we’re not driving in clean air, we’re not saving fuel, we’re still going to be slow compared to everyone else’s times because we’re so much heavier than they are. [Music] Quicker than Dino, but uh that’s only a temporary thing, I think. Let’s speed time up, shall we? And the rears did get up to temp. The fronts haven’t yet. [Applause] And there we go. Dino on those soft tires. Much much quicker than us. There we go. That’s not too bad. We’re down what? 6/10 7/10. Oh no. Max has suddenly sped up a bit. Uh we’re down about a second and a half to max for the amount of fuel we’re carrying. That’s probably about right. battery’s engine temp is going up again. Yeah, I’m all good from outside here. Copy that. You do try. You do try. What am I missing comments? [Music] [Music] All right. How close are we? 88%. That’s not too bad. Still learning some of those new parts we’ve put on the car. So, we got to get that car part knowledge up. It’s another reason why we need to run long. Am I measuring the tire? Said I said you were quick on the heat. The temperature on the tires. Uh, any feedback on the car? Wrong dino. Let’s have a look. Uh, oh, 91. A little bit better. Copy that. So, a little bit of work to do with both of them, but we need to keep them out for the purposes of track and uh car part knowledge. [Applause] Wonder if engine temps will become a problem in the sprint and the and the race. We’ll use the sprint to decide whether or not we need to take fuel out for the Grand Prix. cuz if the engine temps start spiking a little bit on on the sprint, they’re definitely going to spike in the Grand Prix, which is expected to be warmer. [Music] And we’re going to need to be running in dirty air so that we can uh keep the DRS [Music] I’m expecting Mercedes to be very strong here and possibly Alpine as well. We got a a surprise podium for De Gazley in Miami. I say surprise. He he looked comfortable in that position all the way through. So in some respects, not that much of a surprise, but yeah, he had strong pace. But it’s just you never expect to see Alpine up there. [Music] [Applause] Wonder if Ferrari will get their act together today as well. Both cars should have uh replacement parts to fix what uh what was broken. Like I said, I think it was gearbox.lair had to retire and Hamilton was uh severely off the pace. So, I’m almost certain there were both gearbox issues for both cars. Uh, so they should both have new gearboxes. I expect them to be a fair bit quicker today. Evening, Farah. [Music] been playing about with some uh German train sets and some uh Deutschean trains as well today on uh rolling line and I’ve been experimenting on uh pre-built layouts with AI as well to try and figure out how it works and how to uh automate signals. Not signals, sorry. Switches um for specific trains. [Music] [Music] Here we go. We got through the whole session. What’s say to our tires right now? I wonder. Yeah, copy. Oh, it doesn’t tell us. I can’t see the state of my own tires. Oh, excuse me. Well, we’ll have a look when we get back to the garage. We’ll see how badly worn they are just by looking at our tire selection. All right, there we go then. End of the first practice, well, the first and only practice session of the weekend. Uh, it’s George from Science. Uh again, take these times with a pinch of salt, but expect George to be very, very quick. I would expect uh Antonyelli to be pretty quick today as well. Uh so, uh Yuki up there as well. Tire choice let him down horribly or you know, waiting far too long to make his tire his tire stop let him down horribly in Miami. Could have been on for a podium in the end. He ended up settling for I think 13th way out of the points. Let’s see how he gets on today. Uh qualifying for the sprint is up next. [Music] [Music] Welcome everyone. on qualifying for the sprint awaits us and we’re raring to get going. [Music] All right, first thing we need to do is uh take a look at these setups, see where we can improve them. And we’ve got too much or too little. It could go either way. I think it’s probably going to be too much on the rear wing there. Let me check the other setup. That one’s fine. But this is out. That could go either way as well. H I’m going to go up to a 1 N. I’m going to keep the front wing I think where it is at 3 and 1/2. Let’s try bringing that back up. And then how much do I need to find? 9%. That’s that. And then [Music] let’s go with that. Like that. Let’s see if that works. Uh, so let’s drop that down. Drop that back a little bit. [Music] I need to push that up, don’t I? And then just push that up a touch more. Let’s have a go with that. [Music] See how we do. Uh let’s swap out these uh dodgy bits for good bits. better bits if not good. Uh, got to stick with that engine really. It’s too early to break out the third engine. So, Czecho will be down on power and a circuit that doesn’t really like it when you’re down on power. [Music] I’m going to stick with that ERS and stick with that gearbox. So, we’re ready to start qualifying. [Music] Green light. [Music] [Applause] [Music] So, both Cadillacs and both Williams onto the grid and Sha is out early as well. [Music] Not sure how we are with the setups. We’ll find out after this run. [Music] Track position, not great. Track position at the moment is amazing [Music] cuz we’re going to get if we stay at this distance a really good tow from the back of Carlos. I think he’ll probably just stretch away from us though. What’s going to be telling about track position is if anyone pops out the pits in front of us. [Music] are good. Track is clear. Track is clear with the T button off for last corner. [Music] You should have no traffic issues. Load push and good to go. Nobody popping out in the pits. That’s good. So, uh, a clean lap here for Valtry. Should be fine for Czecho as well. [Music] is gone. We can barely see him anymore. [Music] He’s 410 up on us. [Music] on quicker than this as well. Both Williams comfortably ahead of us and it’s another 3/10 lost to sights there in the middle. declare a couple of tents up on uh the Williams drivers. [Applause] [Music] So at the moment you have so 1148 against the 1138 down second. Voucher is only a tenth quicker than Perez. you. At least they’re pretty well balanced. Slow it down. Coming. All right, here we go. Anthony Nelly currently faster than Charlotte. [Music] He’s up by a couple of attempts. [Music] Sits is so close to look at that. 16,000 of a second. Bman pops up into third just ahead of Albon. [Music] How much quicker is Hansenelli about to go? Three and a half t. Wow. Colipinto up there in sixth place only. Uh that’s just as well for Hansen. This he’s on an in lap now. Destroyed his lap. Yeah, Colopinto got some good pace there. Uh is that Norris in front of us? It is. And he’s got some damage. Did he have that when he came out of the pits? [Music] I think he did. So, there’s something iffy on Norris’s car. George on and out lap currently tucked up behind I think that’s Limblad. Yeah, that’s Limblad. [Applause] [Music] He’s also on an outlap. So George could be compromised here or he’s just going to go breezing past once they stamp on the power. [Music] Oh, we got a yellow flag. Someone bend it. A lock for Liam Lawson. See what happened. Now this is where the RB driver is involved. Everything’s all right here. Well, you can see the lockup and hopefully there’s not too much damage to the tires. Not uh not clever. [Music] Let’s ride the nose count so we can get a real sense of speed here from George. bit uh cluttered on the track at the moment. [Music] It’s already compromised into the uh beginning of the lap here. Hamilton pops up into second just ahead of Charlotte. 300s of a second [Music] Aston’s getting out the way. I think that was Alonso. [Music] 223 for George. Yeah, he is down. [Music] He’s down half a second to Kimmy at the moment. [Music] So, George is not going to be happy here. His lap is ruined. It’ll still be good enough to get him through. Oh, no. A little lift there as well for one of the RBs. No, one of the Red Bulls. [Music] Just a little bit of dust kicked up there from Limblad. It’s actually going to set a faster lap time here, I think. Yeah, Lindlad goes seventh. George down in 16th place and not safe at all. Let’s start prepping for that second run and let’s check the setups as well. 97. Oo. Okay. Well, let’s try dropping it down to a three just for the case. Uh, you know, for experimentation purposes. It’s going to break everything here and possibly the rear wing as well. Uh, but this is uh knowledge for uh later here. We’re still off. Okay. So, that’s actually going to be a 37 then. I think yeah, we’re quite a far quite far off here. Not a lot we can do about that right now. Oscar is currently P6. Nobody on a flying lap right now. Few cars limping back to the pits. We’ve got Alex Albon on an outlap just starting it. There he is leaving the pits. Ollie Bman just coming around to start his flying lap. He’s uh had to hit that back straight [Music] down to 23 frames a second. Back up to normal. Both the Aston are going out nose to tail. Who’s got the track advantage? Cenoda. So, if he’s quick enough, that’ll be really good for Alonso. [Music] if he’s quick enough. Lawson heading back out [Music] and we’re going to try a little slip straight. Oh, we in No, it’s Kimmy. I thought we were in front of George for a second. [Applause] [Music] That is Alex Albon starting his lap. [Music] I don’t think we got in his way. [Music] [Music] Bman up to second place. Wow, he’s got some pace. Either that or the track is really evolving. Let’s take a quick look actually at track evolution. It has definitely ramped up with grip and rubber. [Music] Uh there’s a little flurry of activity in the pit lane now. Some guys are leaving it pretty late. There’s a real chance that that second McLaren might not make it. Depends how much traffic pulls him over. [Applause] So, force him to the side while they’re on their flying laps. In theory, he might have enough time, but I don’t think he’ll make it. I mean, you could question whether the other McLaren will make it either for that matter. I think that one will be safe. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Come on, Paris. Stay close enough to Valtry to get that slipstream. I don’t think he is close enough. [Music] [Applause] Even if it just gives me an extra couple of tents. No, that’s enough. He’s down two tents as it is. [Music] Here’s all this traffic. Look. Oh, damn it. That’s a lift for Perez. I don’t think Botas was affected given that that gap suddenly gone up. He might have been. See the difference in the final sectors. 294. Vry just gets up to 16th, but it won’t be enough. 16. What’s Czecho done? A 30.5. Oh, he’s down 1.1 seconds. Look, that’s huge. George is out there and he’s tucked up behind someone again. I think that might be a Red Bull. [Music] It is. So he’s got a better chance of actually uh getting a useful slipstream here. Hamilton is second behind Nelly. George goes purple in the middle sector. That’s that slipstream. But will he get a Yeah, he’s lifted. Oh, George is out. He basically came almost to a complete standstill. That’s George out in Q1. Huge shock, but it is only the sprint. If that had been the main race, that would have been catastrophic. He’s only going to finish ahead of Perez. Botas was eliminated in the end. [Applause] Again, our car doesn’t qualify well and just doesn’t have enough of anything at the moment to qualify well. It’s what we can do in the race with tires that h is our currently strongest feature. Both drivers eliminated. Let’s see who stuck it on pole. It’s Max from the two Ferraris. Hamilton second, in third, Antonelli will line up in fourth place. Then it’s Science from Norris, Pastri from Albon, and then both Alpines made it into the top 10 as well. Ninth and 10th, Colinto ahead of Gazzley. Uh then it was Bman from Limblad. L wow Limblad all the way up there in 12th place. That’s the highest he’s ever qualified, I think. Lawson 13th from [ __ ] 14th, Aron and Bortonto. And then those eliminated in Q1 with us. Uh Yuki Cenoda, Valkyrie Bartas, Fernando Alonso, Nikico Nico Hawkenberg, George Russell, and Sergio Perez. Both of these two at the bottom getting big delays in the final sector on their final runs. We’re back and the action is set to get even better today as the drivers go racing in the sprint. [Music] The big draw today is the opportunity to grab some extra championship points. After all, they could make the difference when the season comes to a close. All right, Czecho is at the back of the grid anyway, so we’re going to break park fair and see if we can fix this setup. We use this as a testing session effectively setup wise. [Music] [Music] Let’s go with that. See if that works. Uh for Valtry, we changed the front wing just to see if we could find the right spot. We have and that’s all we need to fix now is the cornering. We’re going to leave the car as is. And then we’ll change that after uh sprint uh the sprint for, you know, the main Grand Prix. Uh let’s see. Oh, wow. We still have a fair chunk of time tire left there. So, one stop is going to be on. And it’s just whether or not these tires will be quick enough uh for the Grand Prix. Let’s see. I think we can get away with softs here. I am going to put an extra lap of fuel in because we’re going to try and look after the tires a little bit, but push the fuel. Uh we want to go hard off the line. Uh, and then do the same for Czecho until he’s caught the back of the pack. Let’s give him that extra lap of fuel as well. [Music] There we go. We are ready to send them out to the grid for the start of the Canadian sprint. here we go. It’s the Montreal sprint and it’s lights out and away we go. Hamilton’s got off the line very well. Has that inside line and he jumps the snappen before they even make it all the way round turn one. Valtry currently fighting with Yuki Cenoda. It’s a lock up for Lindblad as well. Where’s me mouse? There it is. Let’s see what happened there. I’m always losing my mouse curs involved. Things are okay at this stage. And there goes the steering. They took a gamble and it was just too late. How he didn’t hit anybody, I do not know. And he actually got away with that pretty well. But yeah, Valkyrie in 17th. Next car in front will be Russell. Haven’t quite locked that position down. Now we have. There we go. So, let’s turn the tires down. Let’s turn the battery down. [Music] We need to do full management on this set. Czecho is a fair old way back still. Charge on. Coming. He is closing in. Tires are up to temperature. Let’s cool those down. Everyone’s on softs. I wasn’t sure if we would see a lot of people on soft or not. And uh we may see some pit stops in this sprint. Get ready for really bad, really, really bad frame rate with all these cars on track. That was actually a lot less impact than I thought it would be. Uh we’re almost on the pack. Less than 2 seconds away. Got to 2.0. Yuki putting some pressure on Valkyrie. Two reasons why I’m trying to save the battery. One, so I can use it to capitalize later. And two, to make it easier for Czecho to catch back up. cuz Valkyries is going to be in a nice little VRS train here whereas uh Czecho doesn’t have that yet. I’m starting to wonder if he’s actually going to catch up in time before he runs out of battery. I don’t think he will. There we go. We hit 19 frames there briefly. Evening, Jordan. [Music] And now I’m going to have to hit Botas’s battery or else he’s going to get dropped as well. So, mode push. Copy. [Applause] And we still got dropped. [Applause] [Music] More squabbbling going on in front of us though. might slow people down. Looking at Okon in particular. And just a reminder on not going to get DRS here. If we can get the slipstream. Paris is out of battery. Just about made it. And now he’s uh going to fall away again. And charge button on. Charge button on. Copy. Uh it is it’s the uh maximal graphics mod, but it only affects this circuit and that one um shot that that transition uh coming out of the hairpin onto the back straight. It only affects it there and uh only on this particular version that I’m running cuz I ran some of the ray tracing ones which caused all sorts of other issues. But This one has been pretty much bulletproof until we hit that one corner on this circuit. [Music] All right, we are out of out of range. Let’s save the battery. Okay, charge on. Drop it again. Try and make it a little easier for Perez. Russell is still down in 21st place, unable to make a move forward at the moment. [Music] Hamilton and Vstappen have broken away from Charlotte. And Paris is almost on the pack. [Music] Just a little short of getting back with Okon. Don’t really want to push. Let’s try and get Paris at least onto the back of George on and if we can get some more battery in the car to enable us to then go after Aron, that’ll be helpful. just have to be wary of a lunge into the breaking zones from Yuki. I can only hope that Alonzo will put enough pressure on Yuki to make him think twice about uh anything stupid. So car behind still cenoda cenod 3. [Music] So deployed deployed. Copy. [Music] Good defending from Valtry, but we might get undone here. [Music] No. Again, he shuts that door. [Music] There we go. I’ve got Perez into slipstream range. On Okay. [Music] [Applause] Oh, Nuki does get alongside us. [Music] [Applause] [Music] I can’t go fast enough. Keep Alonso back. Just need to hold charge a little bit longer. Behind is Alonzo. Come on, Czecho. Get back to doing lifting co now. Copy. Come on, Czecho. Copy. [Music] and more energy available. Copy, mate. [Music] We need you to increase defend coast. Copy. Stay in range. Stay in range. Stay in range. Copy. I think he’s just about made it. [Music] and charge button on. Yes, there we go. We’ve got Perez where he needs to be. So, let’s turn our attention forwards again. Mode push now up against the wall, but we get through. [Music] [Applause] High speed management is very good. Then lovely stuff. Now, have we got enough to break away from Yuki? Probably not. Aon and Morrison are back together again. So, I’m just going to uh hold off and move over to Czecho. And that is George finally getting himself past Nico Hulenberg. So Russell up a place the 20th. [Music] Okay. And now we have a a run potentially here on Hulenberg as well. Not going to take it though by the look of it. [Applause] [Music] Charge button on, please. [Applause] Lawson’s in the pits already. Wow, that didn’t take long. [Music] [Applause] Fresh set the softs [Music] and charge button on. Charge button on. Copy. Can I give a brief explanation of DRS versus ERS? Yeah, ERS is this battery. Uh, so that gives us the ability to just get a boost whenever we use it. DRS is um when the rear wing opens up. Uh, it’s the drag reduction system. ERS is the energy recovery system. Uh, so braking helps charge that battery up. But there you see the rear wing open when DRS is active. Reduces the drag, allows you to go faster. If the car in front doesn’t have that and you’re within 1 second of the car that’s in front of you and you do get it, you get a a better chance of overtaking. [Music] Battery can only be deployed I’m sorry. Battery can be deployed anywhere at any point. Uh DRS can only be activated in certain areas on the track. So this little green blob here is the DRS activation is a detection point. And if you’re within a second of the car in front of you at that point when you hit the activation zone, you can then get it get to use DRS. So here’s the detection point for the long double straight here. And that’s all one zone. Yellow flag. Copy. Spin for Arvid. Now let’s take a look here at turn 10 here at the hairpin. And the rear just lets go. And once it started, they were pretty powerless to do anything. [Music] Still ahead of us, though. There he is. Oh, we are side by side with him. Couldn’t quite get the move done. Then he’s into the pits. He will have destroyed those tires with that spin. So, Valtry at the P15. The tire is working well now. We’ve lost a lot of time as a result there. push. Copy. Fresh tires in for both RBs. And we need to start closing down the gap for the cars in front of us. Uh, Max has dropped away quite badly. So Hamilton still leads. There’s Hamilton. Well, actually we didn’t see Hamilton. That was Hamilton’s even further ahead. There’s Hamilton. The Clair second. Science looking to make the move on Vstappen. And there’s Antelli gaining in the background as well. And Max is into the pits. So, it looks like we’re going to see multiple stops potentially for the R for the RBs and at least one stop for the leaders, I would imagine. Bman in as well. There’s Valkyrie. We taken a couple of seconds out of AON. [Music] So now it becomes a case of do we stay out or do we go for it, you know, box and our tires will go to the end, but they’ll be slow. Can we gain enough time on track boxing for fresh tires versus staying out in DRS which we don’t have at the moment. Perez looking to make a move on Nico Hulenberg gets up the uh outside which becomes the inside of the second half of that chicane. Got to use battery now because we’re too far away from Alonso to get DRS here for the double straight. What lap do people start getting eliminated? They don’t got to him 1.4. Oon into the pits just as we got in range with him. Ah, damn it. Burnt all that battery to catch him. in any boxes charge. Yep. So, we’re up to 12th and that’s a mechanical issue for Limblad now. But it looks like they’re carrying some kind of fault. [Music] [Music] trying to get back onto a long soap. And next car behind will be Hulenberg. [Music] All right, let’s concentrate. Clair closing on Hamilton. Science Nantelli are in a right old scrap here. Both McLarens are right there as well. And it’s Science who doesn’t have DRS, but he’s got a slipstream. That might save him. I think it has saved him. Perez is out of battery and I think he’s just about made it back onto Alonso. But on Yep. 10 laps to go. Who else is going to stop? Is charging right now. He’s caught right up to the back of Hamilton. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Remember, long way to go in this race. It’s going to get to the point now as well that the longer you go, the worse it’s going to be in terms of how many places you’re going to drop behind when you come back out compared to those who’ve already stopped. This is what happened to Yuki in Miami and it killed him. He had that chance of a really strong points finish, potentially even a podium, and he stayed out far too long. And when he came out, there was no way he was going to get back in the points. [Music] And for now, Hamilton is keeping his teammate behind him. [Music] Russell has gone up himself up to 13th. So he’s jumped do your best both of the uh Aston and Vnappen. Looks like he’s about to jump Valkyrie as well. Come back right behind you. Raise his lungs. There is Valkyrie. Oh, wrong button. That’s what I meant to do. Russell behind you in the safety class. He’s 0.5 behind. There’s progress to be made. And we are catching Portalto. What about here comes George having a little look. Couldn’t get through. I think we probably got tires in better shape than George right now simply by dent of the fact that he’s spent a lot more time in dirty air than we have. And that is a fastest lap for Rock on. Eight laps to go in. Definitely got pace, but you not paced enough to do anything serious. The car behind it is Russell. You made yourself a Miami livery. Very cool. He has DRS. Here comes Max up the inside. Max has got better tires and he just picks off George there. Do your best. So, Max needs to get a hurry on if he wants to try and get back up into the points. Only the top eight pay uh pay out points here in the sprint. This focus has a long race mode push get onto the back of Bortalto to at least try and give us a little bit of extra security. You can reduce the amount of lift and coast. Max trying to go the long way around the outside here at turn one and turn two. We shut him down. The fastest lap for Bman who’s also stopped now. [Music] Having to defend from Max is stopping me from catching boraltto house DRS. Yep. No liftoff needed. You are doing a good job. Okay, copy. Car behind us for Stampin. No worries, mate. That’s it. No more battery. Have I done enough to reduce K1 usage? I don’t think I have. There’s Isaac charge on. Max might get me in the braking zone here. Yes, he does. So much more grip. He just swoops around us. But if I can use Vappen as a bridge to Bortalto. Okay, let’s get on it. Still everything might still work out. Russell is behind and we need to increase lift and coast by 30%. Copy. So mode push. Copy. Ah damn it. I’m out of range again. [Music] And there’s Max already putting the moves to Boralto. But they go side by side through the chicane. That might give me an opportunity here to get back in range. Nope. It hasn’t. And we’re out of battery again. So now I’m going to be vulnerable to George. Charge on. Coming. At least Boralletto didn’t get the slip, didn’t get the DRS. So now I have his slipstream. That should protect me. He does have DRS on you. Is anyone else going to stop? I don’t think they are now. Not at this point. And we need lift and coast. Copy. There’s only five laps to go. Thelair is in front of Hamilton. Completely missed that while focusing on the battle of our drivers. Bman now gets past Hulenberg. So he’s going to be putting some pressure on Perez. Probably more than we can handle. Crossle right behind you. There goes Max pasten into the chicane. Oh, mechanical issue for Antelli. charge on. [Music] And for Boralto, [Applause] let’s try and squeeze a bit of battery out of uh this uh situation here. Side by side, we’ll get a slower launch out of the corner in theory, but we actually got the quicker launch despite Yes. Yes. being in harvest mode. You’re doing a great job. And then the DRS kicked in as well. 12 couple of seconds behind Isaac. Depending on uh how the next lap goes, we might be in with a chance of taking 11th place. No points though. points don’t pay out past eighth. [Music] Perez has been passed by uh Ollie Bman. Let’s see if we can go with him as he uh pushes back onto the Aston Cenoda and Alonso [Music] looking back behind. Continue. Keep going. And we are closing in on Hatcha. Taking a few tents out of him. Hulk behind with the still just about hanging on to Bman. You can see he’s almost harvest. You’ve got three laps to go. Copy. They are barely hanging on to him. Three laps left. Not enough uh tire left to uh push it really. And there we go. We’ve lost him behind Hulcom. Why did Max go to the pits? He made a a call for fresh tires. It wasn’t the only one. Both RBs, both harsh drivers, they all boxed as well. The RBs possibly down to uh driver errors, you know, necessitating those stops. Lawson had a a lock up. Limblad had a spin. Currently P12. Llair has uh.3 seconds got this race under control at the moment. As Russell gets past Borletto, we put some space between those guys. We are very close to Isaac. [Music] Let’s see if we can get in range ready for the final lap mode push and also make sure that we don’t get caught out by George on the final lap. Yeah. But yeah, is now two and a half seconds clear of Hamilton. Then it’s sights ahead of Antonyelli. Pastry all over the back of Antelli, but Kimmy will have DRS here on Carlos. Can he overcome that car issue and uh take the place and hold the place? [Applause] See, we’re just keeping George at bay. Just missed out on DRS from Isaac, though. We need to do more lifting coast. Please increase by 10%. Copy it. [Applause] Got to keep pushing just to make sure I definitely get in range. Remember, long way to go in this race. And still behind Science, but still ahead of Oscar. [Music] [Applause] Russell now on my gearbox and I’m not quite close enough to Isaac. [Applause] [Music] We’re okay to push a bit harder if you can. [Music] Come on. Let me get the range. Let me get the range. I missed it. I think I don’t know. It’s close. I think I missed it. [Music] You need to keep your K1 usage down. Please light up. Please light up. No, it didn’t light up. George is going to make the move on me. And you can use all the boost bar. Got it. He’s going to try. He’s not close enough. We will take 12th place. That’s the checkered flag. Checker will stay ahead of Hulenberg. 18th. Then check flag. [Music] [Applause] Not a not a bad result there for Valtry. Again, not a great sprint. And Sergio Perez up outside the points in today’s sprint. It’s a P8 finish. And let me assure you, no one wants to find themselves down there. Confirmation of the sprint result. Thenlair takes it from Lewis. Ferrari won two. So 15 points for Ferrari. It’s another podium of sorts for Carlos. Excuse a second. I said to wet the whistle. Um, fourth place for Kimmy. Then it is Oscar up a couple of places to take fifth ahead of his teammate Lando. Gazzley in seventh. Does get some points. Alban gets the final point for Williams. So, good day for Williams. Max down eight places from the pole that he started in with that early stop, but uh I think he went very hard at the beginning. Maybe burnt his tires out too quickly trying to stay up with uh with Hamilton and it cost him. It also I think cost Hamilton a little bit as well uh trying to uh to push to stay ahead of Max. He was able to stay out, but it gavellair the the window he needed to get past him. Colinto misses out on points as well, finishing in 10th. Uh then it was Isaac in 11th. Uh 12th is Botas. 13th is George. So he made some decent progress after a very slow start to the sprint. Was stuck in uh 21st for ages and then slowly started to move his way up the order. And when people started boxing and opening up some of those gaps in the second half of the grid, it made it much easier for him to start making some moves. Cenoda in 14th ahead of Bortalto. Alonso 16th. Bman down sixth places after his stop in 17th. Got the fastest lap, but that’s kind of meaningless at this point. Uh Perez in 18th, 19th was Hulenberg, 20th AON. 21st Liam Lawson, 22nd is Arvid Limblad. Neither Racing Bulls driver having a particularly good afternoon. [Music] [Music] Qualifying is coming up and the drivers will be ready and raring to go. The circuit Jail Vner isn’t a permanent track, so circuit evolution is high over the Grand Prix weekend. Overtaking is possible, but getting a welltimed lap in qualifying will help any driver. And here’s a driver there’s been quite a focus on recently, Karun Very Boss. You can tell that we’ve been watching a driver with real confidence here, and it makes a difference. I can tell you from my own experience. So, get yourselves comfortable. It’s going to be quite the ride. [Music] All right, quick question for you guys. Uh, did anyone get any adverts uh between the end of uh my summary of the final sprint positions to now? Cuz I don’t think they’re working. [Music] Farah got one. Yeah, monetization is switched on. So yeah, they should be quite just didn’t pop any for me on the two times I’ve I’ve popped the buttons so far this stream. So I was just wondering if they were broken and not working properly cuz uh one of the panels on my OBS is missing and I don’t know how to get it back. Right, let’s get uh prepped for quality, shall we? We’re at 97%. We know we just need to fix the cornering and then compensate that with some subtle changes. [Music] You’ve got your eye on a new handbag. Wow. Very nice. I was uh watching something with my VPN on last night set to the States and I just got bombarded. Uh I was watching the uh a Broken Skull podcast. uh Austin and Foley. It’s like 2 hours long and I got bombarded all the way through with endless political uh attack ads [Music] for the local elections that are coming up. [Music] So, that was fun. Uh let’s see. Am I going to break my front wing? Possibly. But I’m going to hope that we’ll be all right. Uh that should technically theoretically fix the setup issues here for uh for Czecho. Getting close if not up to 100%. And hopefully we’ve got Valtry to 100 as well. ERS is now into yellow, but should still be fine. Engine’s fine. Gearbox is fine. It is what it is for Jacko with the engine. [Music] So now we have green light. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] All right. Let’s see we get a clean run [Music] and track is clear. Truck clear. Start the lap. gap is currently good. Remember mode push, you’re good to go. So, we’re going to be reducing the calendar a couple of races at the end of this season. Going to take it down to 22 so that we can uh take out uh the Netherlands cuz that won’t be on the calendar. But, oh, god damn it. That ruined already. That’s why I had these buttons prepped to just uh abort the lap. [Music] Look how much time we lost. Porcelto lost a monster amount of time. He’s carrying on. That’s one and a half seconds to Czecho in that sector. Um, yeah, we’re going to drop the calendar down to 22 races, but we’re probably going to add two more sprints in. Uh, and then it also, uh, means that we can then start to shuffle certain tracks in and out every now and again. I might even go down to to 20 Grand Prix, uh, and maybe up the number of sprints a little bit more. Maybe uh, maybe nine or 10. I don’t know. I’ll have a think about that. But we’re definitely going to go down to at least 22 so that we can start to rotate certain tracks. What’s your speed in the pit lane? Stop on the marks. Go to P1, please. I think I’ll probably go to 20 cuz there’s a couple I’d like to just get rid of. And then we could maybe do uh like a a race share agreement like Japan had briefly when it was being shared between Fuji and Suzuka and Hawkenheim when it was being shared between Hockenheim and the Nurburg Ring. And that way we could uh swap out a couple of the uh Arab circuits. So we could maybe do a share between Bahrain and and Jedha or Bahrain and Abu Dhabi for example or Jedha and Abu Dhabi. Guitar I’m just going to get rid of completely. There we go. Now the setup. Lovely stuff. On and stop in front of the garage. Let’s see if we get some better luck here on Valky’s second attempt at a flying lap. Perez is currently 8 and 1 half t off of Hamilton. That’s not too bad. Uh a dear didn’t quite nail it. I was ing anding was whether I’d gone one click in um short or not. And it turns out I did. Never mind. 99% is good enough. Really don’t want to start this race from the pit lane just because it took me what three Well, it took me what more than three laps. Took me multiple laps to get Perez onto the back of uh the grid from his pit lane start cuz there wasn’t enough Constantinering in the opening corners to allow him to catch up quickly and the race will be just the same. So, uh, wherever we qualify, we’ll just start from there. We’re not going to be popping into the pit. Certainly not to fix 1% of the setup. That’s just a complete waste. Even if we do start to, you know, you know, qualify 22nd. I’d rather just stay at 99% and be in the pack rather than gaining 1% and then draining my battery just desperately trying to catch the pack at the end of the uh at the start of the the Grand Prix. that neuters Perez for the rest for the next 10 15 laps. Quick time for Yuki Snder pops up into second place. Alonso in fourth. So good times for both of the Aston there. Colopinto currently in third place. Qualifying well again so far. It’s very early days yet though. And who are we out behind? Uh, Limblad. Great. We saw what that did to George. What’s it going to do for Valtry? It’s going to be quicker in the first sector regardless. 228. And he’s down a second on Vers Stappen and Llair there. [Music] Come on. Try and throw it up the inside. Nope. So, it’s going to be a compromised second attempt, but at least it’ll be a more competitive time than it would have been. [Music] [Music] 11th place, but we’re down 2.3 seconds to Jacko. That speaks volumes. We were always going to be pace locked to Limblad there. Damn it. It’s gone out behind Lawson. It’s a little bit of a bigger gap, so it shouldn’t affect us too much. [Music] Here’s the replay. Nico Hulenberg there and that under pressure from George runs a little wide and then there’s Hamilton trying to stay out of the way on the inside there and that’s affected I think potentially both of them. into the pits then for Valkyrie. Limblad following us in behind as one of the McLarens comes screaming through to start his flying lap. I believe that will be Oscar. Antonyelli, look at that. 217. That’s the quickest we’ve seen so far. [Music] How much time we got left? I’ve got time for another run on these tires. So, I’m going to send him straight out. [Music] Got a yellow flag somewhere on track. Is that uh one of the Audi’s? The Bortalto maybe? No. Hawenberg. [Music] Let’s take a closer look. Okay, so heading into turn one here. Struggling with a car and they’ll need to be mindful. Little lock up there that will ruin that lap. Evening Army. So, Antonelli across the line. Good enough for top. Very close. 129 first man into the 112. The break temperature. Russell also blisteringly quick. That’s Hulenberg there in front. Will he get in the way? Note that you’re in a good position. [Music] [Applause] Perez is going to get held up here by Valtry. Wrestler’s flying. Valkyrie pulls out of the way. Here comes George up to the wall of champions. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] It’s a 1128 10th and a half quicker than Antonelli. Hamilton pops up into third. [Music] Jack is good. No improvement in the middle sector. with a small improvement in the final sector. And we do gain uh almost 2/10 I think maybe a tenth. Let’s see. Perez 1139. Yeah, 10th and 10th and a half. Nearly 2/10 1700s. Norris into 10th. Science on decent looking lap here. What’s the plan? Uh just try and keep the tires in decent shape and see where that ends. Uh see where we end up after that. Perez moves over for Valtry at the same spot that uh Valtry moved over for Perez. This is decent looking lap here for Czecho. Needs a massive improvement. Down 210 to Gazzley in the first sector, but matched him in the middle. Is that Gazzley behind me? It is now. Hold up in the final corners up to the line. And that’s good enough for 15th. Still 3/10 slower than Perez surprisingly. Mode in police mode in tires are worse though by about a lap. Uh we got time to do one more run with new tires for both drivers. So let’s slap on a new set of softs. Not sure what we’re going to do tirewise. Might go mediums to hards. Might go softs to hards. We might even go soft and medium. Don’t think I’m going to go for the two stop. I think I’m going to try and go for the one stop. See what the predictions are like. Perez is ready to go. Hamilton’s going to go now, but I’m going to try and send him out behind Hamilton. Not planning on getting a slip stream. Hamilton’s going to be too quick, but uh I figure it might lessen the impact of potential traffic problems. [Music] Every time it it just pauses like that for a second, I’m like, “Oh god, my game’s crashed.” And then it just cuts the really really bad frame rate shot. It’s caught me a couple of times panicking that the game’s about to just blue screen on me. Just stop on the marks. Synchronized parking there with Czecho and Pierre. Valtry and Pierre again. We’ll just try and get out and then hopefully in some clear air. probably got him just a bit too early for Valtry there, but we’ll see how it goes. So, Isaac has just completed his lap. There he is. He is up to eighth place. He will not have time to go again, I don’t think. AON crosses the line into sixth. Alonso. Terrible first sector. No improvement for him. So Alonzo is vulnerable to be eliminated because again he should not have time to go again by the time he gets back to the pits. Hulenberg is out corner again. He will not have time. He’s been held up somewhere horrendously in that first sector as well. 4 and a half seconds he lost to Bman just in in that first sector. Oh no wait. Hulenberg’s on a lap now. Is he? No, he’s not. He’s going back to the pits. It’s just he hasn’t had a clean run through the first sector yet. He locked up at turn one. He locked up at turn four. So, his inlap is a personal best in the first sector cuz it was clean. Oh, that’s that’s uh that’s demoralizing. All right, Czecho’s on his lap. Okay, he’s still kind of keeping close to Hamilton. This might actually work out really nicely here. Hamilton’s not really improved. Paris has found a little bit in the middle sector now. We should get a nice flip stream as long as we don’t get held up here. Ah, damn it. So, Perez is out. [Music] There’s no point even finishing the lap. He’s not going to improve. And there’s no time to send him out. Just get him back into the pits. Good thing they’re on and stop on the marks. Right. Captain Valtry do 221 in the first sector. Personal best. It’s that little kink after the hair pin that causes all the problems with with uh blue flags. Yeah, it’s it’s f with the AI. [Music] It’s if they’re just in slightly the wrong position, it just causes you to lift. See, that time Valkyrie got through fine despite there being a car on either side. [Music] But just depends where that car is on track. It can just cause all sorts of issues. Very improves and finally gets past Perez, but we’re P8 now. Still not enough to get out. So, we are out of qualifying. [Music] Uh Castry is on a flying lap and he needs one. He is in real trouble here. 21st place. Gazzley’s just starting a lap as well. Might have just been held up by Valkyrie. I don’t He’s got Colopinto right with him. Science just goes purple in the middle sector. He has a Mercedes right behind him. I believe it’s George who’s already top of the session, but he’s through. Antonelli is through as well, but he’s on a flying lap. He goes mighty quick in the first sector. [Music] Haven’t seen the 216 at all this weekend so far. And he’s just pumped one in. Science crosses the line in fourth in the end just ahead of his former teammate Oscar gets up to third and is flying right now. Absolutely flying. Now the staff goes even quicker in the fight in the middle sector. [Music] Dazzley did not improve enough. Alonso is out. Gazzley is out. Both of our drivers are out. Lawson and Hulenberg are also out. Lindlad has made it through as has Norris. And Antinelli goes top by over 210 of a second. Max now popped up into second ahead of George, but still 1500s away from Kimmy. [Music] And that is it. We are eliminated from qualifying in 19th and 20th. It’s kind of what I was expecting to be fair based on how sprint qual. Let’s see who stuck it on pole for the Grand Prix. It’s George and Kimmy in second. It’s a McLaren, sorry, McLaren, a Mercedes front row. Then it’s a Ferrari second row. Llair ahead of Hamilton. In fifth place, Max alongside Carlos Oscar in seventh. Arid’s all the way up in eighth. Wow, he must have just got a really good slipstream on his lap. Ninth, Lando, Cenoda gets 10th. So, eliminated in Q2 then was Alex, Albon, Boraltto, Aron, Colinto, Haja, and then uh Gazzley out in Q1 with us. Interesting. So, uh, a very strong chance for maximum points once again for Mercedes. Let’s see if they can convert a front row into a, uh, a one two lockout. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] 70 laps of The Canadian Grand Prix await our drivers here in Montreal. Named after the legendary Canadian driver, the circus Jil Vner has been host to plenty of first time winners. Jean Allesi, Lewis Hamilton, Robert Kubitza, and Daniel Ricardo all got their maiden victories here. Gil Vilner is a quick free flowing circuit in parts with a stop start aspect thrown in for good measure around the chicanees and hairpin bends. Medium speed downforce will play a large part in avoiding the wall of champions and ensuring success at this iconic track. The time has almost come for our drivers to fight it out wheelto-wheel. Race day has arrived. All right, let’s see. Are there any penalties to be applied to the race grids? I don’t think there are. No, there are not. So, it is as it was at the end of qualifying. Uh, we are good on setups. This is the default strategy that’s been offered. Do we look at making any changes? Soft to hard. We could do it. We need to uh move that stint back a bit. Probably to there. It’s 10 seconds uh slower though. Yeah, the one stop is the way to go. it would seem to go with a slightly more uh conservative version of it so that we can get that uh uh extra little bit of uh rubber wiggle room on that set of tires. And I imagine it’ll be the same for Paris. Let me just program in a uh a three stop and see what we could do. Let’s stop messing around with the tire pace like that. Let’s go to a set of mediums and let’s just see what it would look like. It’s still slower than the one stop. I think it would be. And it’s not like we can go really aggressive on these tires to uh try and get an extra pace advantage that way. So yeah, we’re going for the one stop mediums to hards. I don’t know what the AI is going to do. I would imagine we may well see uh some a lot of cars doing similar, but we might see some two stops. Uh going to take a lap of fuel out. [Music] We’re going to go very hard off the line. See if we can make a place in the opening few corners. Here we go. And with that, we are ready. Let’s send them to the grid for the start of the Canadian Grand Prix. Welcome back, everyone. The final preparations are now being made as we head into the race. This could be a big race for that man right there, Lewis Hamilton. It’s a second row start there in P4. The trick will be not to slip backwards because there are plenty looking to capitalize. [Music] Right, let’s get to it then. This is it. We’re moments away now at the Canadian Grand Prix. I could hear the booze from here, Farah. And it’s lights out and away we go. It’s a really strong start for uh the front row. It’s a bad start from Hamilton. Max has got past him. That’s a lock up for Hajar at the first turn. Should be able to take a look here. It’s the Red Bull driver. All right so far. And there’s the lock up. They were just unable to do much about it. He got away with it though. Would have damaged his tires a little bit, but uh fine apart from that. We’re going to lose time fighting each other. Okay. Charge on. Copy. No management required. Copy that. We need Is it always 18th for max sponsor? uh for us at the moment. Yes, because the performance of the car is so bad. As the car starts to improve, the uh maximum target will start to you know get higher in the Victor. [Music] [Applause] [Music] It also I think is dependent on which sponsors you’ve got as well. Some of them are more demanding just in, you know, as to what they’re rated at. We’ve got a lot of one uh star rated sponsors, but when you start getting some three star rated sponsors, that’s the maximum rating level. When you hit those threes, they start expecting more result-wise. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Solair has actually got past Antonelli, but he’s not close enough to get onto George. He’s pushing those soft tires, though. So, actually, this is the first time we’ve actually looked at the tires, isn’t it? Uh soft tires forlair. Soft for Albon Bman and Okon Gazzley. Alonso Hajar in 18th has been overtaken. Do your best and Perez having got past Valtry. It’s now under pressure from Hulenberg [Applause] as Hulenberg gets past Valtry as well. [Music] So deployed. Deployed. Got it. Okay. For mode push. Copy. Andelli will have a chance here onlair. Max does not have DRS. That’ll give Hamilton an opportunity to close back up and try and retake the position from uh from Versnappen. But those who are starting on the softs, I think certainly at the back of the grid, they’re going to go two stops. At the front, maybelair may go softs to hards and try and one stop it. But I think uh the Alpines, not the Alpine, sorry, the pass drivers, they’re both on soft. I think they’ll go for a two stop. Gassley might go for a two stop. Hajile will probably go for a two stop. Hulenberg will almost certainly go for that as well, as will Lawson in an attempt to just try and leaprog the cars in front of them. Um yeah, some interesting uh options being thrown up. Couple of guys starting on the hards. Max one of them. uh Hamilton the other uh and Norris as well and Limblad still in the top 10 at the moment and actually putting pressure on Yuki Snowda. He’ll have a run at him here. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Anthony just struggling to get past LLA at the moment because he doesn’t have the same level of grip available. But CLA’s tires will wear out faster. Hamilton and Max on the same compound, so they’re likely to stay like that unless the gap gets really short. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Perez is just about staying in range of Isaac at the moment. Here’s a chance for Limblad. Yuki going very defensively. [Music] Now Paris is close. Close enough to uh have a look at getting past Isaac. Let’s switch our focus to Jacko. Got a slow exit in front of us. There’s allowed Hajar to get a slipstream. We are out of battery now. Charge off. And our opportunity is gone. So, we’re going to have to wait now. Rebuild the batteries. Oh, has Valkyrie got through? No, cuz he didn’t have any battery to launch himself out of the final turn. Engine temps are a little high. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] But I don’t want a fuel save just because if we get a VSC or a safety car, we’re going to end up with uh enough fuel to wipe out that deficit and leave us having to push to burn it off. It’s going to push the temperatures up even more. [Music] I did think about underfueling by several laps, but I also figured if we didn’t get a safety car or VSC, it means we would be struggling even more on the straights because we haven’t doing a lot of lift and coast into the braking zones to recover that fuel loss. There is a rem reemergence of that mechanical issue for Limblad that he was suffering in the sprint. [Music] [Applause] See in front there in front of Pulenberg. Paris still trying to find a way past Isaac. [Music] It’s just a matter of time now until we get past him. Let’s try and rebuild the battery a little bit. And charge button on. Copy. [Music] Charge on. Copy. [Music] Lors house. TRS. [Music] Max has got past uh Antonyelli. [Music] up into third place now for Versappen. It’s a little early for Antonelli’s tires to be going off. The Clair is almost in range of George Science and Pastry locked in battle at the moment. Here [Music] we go. Norris gets past Limblat. He will start pushing on. In fact, Okon’s having a look as well and he’s through two. So that’s two places lost in the space of two corners there for Linl. [Music] Norris is pushing straight away. Who’s going to be the first to blink? And when do they blink as well? We saw pit stops very early in the sprint. Don’t think we’ll see them quite as early here in the Grand Prix given just how many laps there are to do here. But who knows? We might yet see some stops in the next couple of laps for a couple of cars. Let’s go back to Czecho. All over the back of Isaac again. Energies are good. Let’s uh stop harvesting now. Just sit and top up so that we can try and jump on an opportunity if it arises. T on. Charge on. coming. [Music] Hawkenberg keeps having a look, see if he can see a way through, but every time he pulls out of the slipstream to make a move, he loses ground and that set him up perfectly now for Valkyrie. All right, let’s concentrate. Perez is going to have a look at the inside of Isaac. gets his car alongside and in the background we see Valtry making the move on Hulenberg as well. Both drivers gaining a place at the same corner. Good job. And that’s no DRS for Isaac, which means we might might see Valkyrie moving up again. And Isaac’s in the pits already. There we go. And Lawson. So nine laps done and they’re in. So, this is a definite two stop. It’s gone mediums. And if he burns through those quickly, it could even be a three stop. Is it going to be uh it’s more softs? No, it’s mediums. They keep forgetting it’s a red wheel rim. So, they’ve both gone mediums. We’re looking at a two, maybe even a three stop strategy depending on what they choose to do with their remaining tires. They might go soft, medium, medium, but that’s uh a lot of laps they have to do on both sets of mediums. If they do that, they might go soft, medium, hard. Interesting choice of strategy. And we have a safety car. Oo, now that makes things interesting. Safety car charge on. see the replay of the crash in front of us. It’s Norris. Has he harpooned? He has. He’s harpooned. Um, Alex Albon there and you can just feel the frustration from the team watching on the monitors. What’s the marker? It mean that means uh there’s some problem with the car. um they’re either critical damage or um they’re either well they’re damaged to something. So it’s either a wear, you know, excessive wear on an engine component or it’s an arrow uh pro part that’s been damaged. Uh that’s very much damage for uh for both of those guys. We might yet see we might see both of them eliminated here. Uh, the leaders have dived straight into the pits and I need to decide what I want to do with my strategy here. Do I stick on the one stop or do I convert to a two stop? Let’s see what would happen if I converted to a two stop. I’ve got an extra set of brand new mediums. Well, I could just about make that work cuz we’re going to do a couple of laps behind the safety car. I think we stay out though and see if we can gain track position. Let’s uh do some fuel saving. Let’s finish harvesting the batteries. Let’s put the tires into save and let’s stay out. [Applause] Yeah, they are both out of the Grand Prix. Yeah. Norris saying, “Oh, I got hit.” Yes. When he’s the one who caused the accident. Go back to doing lifting co. So, uh, yeah, everyone’s diving into the pits and we can gain a few places here. It’s a short pit. It’s normally about 18 seconds start to finish on a pit on the pit stop here because it’s uh such a a quick exit from the pits. But we are still going to climb up a fair few positions on the left crash in the main straight debris around the track. So Pashri is going to split the drivers and we’re the only ones who have not stopped. But we’re up to seventh and ninth. [Music] Almost got both ahead of Past Street. That would have been really nice. where we are at the moment. We have B7 B7. Next car in front is uh signed PS3 behind. And you are doing a good job on tires. Keep it like this. Yeah. So P7 Come [Music] on. Come on. So at the end of lap 11, we are behind a safety car. Charlair is leading ahead of Max Vstappen. George Russell in third. Hamilton down in fourth. Anthony fifth. Science in sixth. The front sixth have all stopped. We have knocked which is why Perez is now sitting in seventh place. Oscar has stopped. in between us in eighth, Valtry in ninth. Still not stopped. So we’re the only two cars who haven’t dived into the pits. Uh and then it is Cenoda from Aon Limblad forto Colipinto Bman Hulenberg, Gazzley, Hajar and Lawson. Most of the field is actually pretty even split. It’s about half and half mediums and hards. We have two retirements which brought out the safety car. Alex Albon was torpedoed in the breaking zone of the to the hairpin by Lando Norris who then complained that somebody hit him. I don’t think anyone’s going to believe that. Norris has been given a 5-second penalty which he can’t serve. That will translate into a three place penalty in qualifying for the next Grand Prix. Tire temps are still nicely in the window even though we’re saving because we’re in dirty air and is pretty hot track. 42.3° safety car’s coming to an end. We’ve got the fuel situation down to uh a good balance. Yeah, copy. And now we get chance to undercut everybody. Yeah, copy. When we do eventually make our stop. If there’s anything left in the tank, let’s go for it. So, we need to push. I don’t think we’re going to overtake anyone here. Slow push at the moment, but uh we might stand a chance of uh not losing a place and more energy available. Copy. Oh, Valky’s got a fault. Damn it. Safety car has left the leader. I had no defense. His batteries just shut down. Just a reduced charge temporary. [Applause] I don’t think that’ll actually uh resolve itself anytime soon though, unfortunately. So, it just means that it’ll be a lot harder to recover battery. shouldn’t affect deployment or at least not directly. Indirectly, it’ll affect deployment because he won’t have much to deploy. [Applause] And I need to try and stay with the front runners as much as I can over the next couple of laps before uh they inevitably break away from me. And I desperately want to try and keep Oscar behind Czecho as well as long as I can. love to turn the engines down a little bit, but I can’t for the next lap or two. [Music] That will just uh speed up how quickly we get dropped. And DRS enable. Charlotte Clair sets a new fastest lap of the Grand Prix, a 116.3. We are on the verge of being dropped with both of our drivers here despite uh pushing We do have a significant tire wear disadvantage against the rest of the grid now. And Yuki’s picked up a fault. Why am stuck behind Valkyrie? Let’s see. Look the difference in battery level here between the two drivers cuz we’re not recovering much given that uh battery fault. Let’s go into top up so we don’t end them end up running them out completely. Let’s uh cool the engines down now. Perez has been dropped comprehensively by 30%. Let’s hope that the engine will cool down a bit and uh sort that fault out for Valkyrie. Through goes Oscar. That’s been uh No, he kept him behind. Very surprised by that. Max has taken the lead and the fastest lap. 116. Cenoda gets alongside us. Can we fight him off tires? No, we can’t. Oh, good. I already struggled. Just couldn’t go any faster. There’s progress to be made. It’s Okon behind. Oscar’s going to get through here very quickly as well. I’d like him to get through here, which he has done because that means we’ll get DRS all all down the uh the back straights. First race is long. [Applause] Sweet. Happy bunny. Here’s Oscar. He might be cursing in a minute. Another behind with DRS. [Music] Then again, he’s just going to drive off. And Cenod’s putting some pressure on us now. Keep him at bay. Here comes Senota shutting him down. We’ll get a slow exit and that will give Botas a chance to get back in range because he was just on the edge of being dropped. Will Cenota throw it up the inside? He’ll try and he’s immediately shut down after his engine still too hot. Okay, copy. Keeping that fault going. And here comes Yuki. Jo trying to block him. Yuki’s got more grip and just goes around the outside in the end. Valtry might have a look at Jo as well here. Continue like this. And behind we have voters. [Music] So Pastry’s got a bit of work to do. Being stuck behind us for a few laps has caught him a drift from the front runners. Nearly 5 seconds behind Science now. Science just clinging onto the back of Antelli. And then it’s pretty close between everybody else. Someone else has developed a fault. Now it’s Arvid. And hopefully Valtry will get through here cuz that will then get him some clear air and help lower his engine temps and hopefully get rid of that fault. Czecho blocking and that’s compromised Ver’s exit from the chicane. He’s stuck behind him a bit more. Let’s at least try and get some battery back in his car while he’s stuck in the dirty air, please. Copy. And then we’ll burn a bit to try and get him through. There too many cars in close proximity for me to risk giving a team order to Perez to swap places. He’ll potentially get dropped behind a couple of other cars in the process. Evening Daniel. Yeah. put us behind with the Okay, go. Wow, Titans have actually dropped the temporarily out of the window there for Perez on copy. [Music] Didn’t expect that. That could potentially cause an issue if we when we go on to the hard tires. [Music] [Music] Who do I think will win the championship? It’s too early to say, but I think and I hope it’ll be Oscar. [Music] Lando’s still close enough to uh to take it from him. And you can’t rule out Max. You can never rule out Max, especially now that Rebel have got their car working properly again. Doing a good job with the tires. Copy. coming. All right, come on. Let’s try and get you past Paris. [Music] [Applause] And charge button on. Charge button on. Copy. And both behind with the RS again. Checker’s blocking. Yeah, I can’t go faster. Just do your best. Come on, Czecho. Let him through at the moment. P9. Next guy in front is another behind you. We have got us charge on. Perfect. And you are doing a good job on tires. Keep it like this. Perfect. Mode push. Copy. Look at the difference in engine temps in that dirty air versus clean air. Same for tire temps for that matter as well. Right, this time you need to keep your K1 usage down a bit otherwise you’ll just run out of battery and then you’ll God damn it. Check. Copy. Let him through. Give me this one. Okay, copy. You’ve got the pace. You can do this. Copy. Energies are good. Yeah, copy. Charge on. Copy. My plan was to just swap them around with a a simple overtake like this and then rebuild Perez’s battery and it just wasn’t working. So now I’m having to slow Perez down as much as I can to give Valkyrie the opportunity. But DRS behind Perez’s battery is going to be uh full full to the brim before Valkyrie even gets through at this point. [Music] [Music] You are good to go. Mode push. New fastest lap. Charlotte trying to get back past Max. George in third. We need to reduce but on hard tires. Keeping a watching brief this time for Valtry. Come on. And there we go. He’s through finally. Woo. into top up mode. Lifting coast, please increase by 10%. Copy. Charge on. Copy. [Music] So, I’ve got no battery left for Valkyrie to try and speed the uh the pack back up again. I’ve got to try and keep Perez at a distance where he doesn’t then try and make his move back on Valkyrie, but not so far back that it a drops him out of range and b leaves him vulnerable to just a lunge from Okon in the braking zones. This is going to be uh a tricky couple of laps while we try and get Botas’s engine temps down. Evening Adrian Russell with the fastest lap now and it’s very close at the front. 3DS have broken away from Hamilton who’s got Antelli all over the back of him. [Music] [Applause] Just thinking about a look there for George. I think better of it. God damn it. Perez, know your role. Stop pissing about. There we go. It’s just compromised Valkyrie and stuck him right back in that dirty air again. God damn it. This focus is a long race. Ah, going to have to just stockpile some fuel and do it this way. Get back to doing lifting coast now. Copy that. Charge on. [Music] You copy. [Applause] Sun has gone away. It’s just clouds at the moment. Cooling down the track. Tracks dropped down to just 35 1/2°. No wonder our tires are struggling to stay in the window. And this worries me about the hards. [Music] There we go. We got the uh temperature down. So now we’re just affected by curves and condition. Still might be too much. We don’t think we need any lift and coast. Copy. [Applause] Charge upon. Copy. [Applause] Ah, here comes Gabby. He gets us. Charge on. Okay. Let’s take a look at the replay. Here we are then at the 11th corner. The gap opens up for them. Our tires are starting to go as well. About 50% left. Everyone else should be in uh a healthier position than us. [Music] And given that we are staring down the barrel of cold weather or say cold weather, a colder track as Okon does get past Perez. I’m thinking that we might need to uh go soft and turn this into a two stop. cuz I just think it’s going to be too much of a struggle to keep the hards going. So, we go lap 29 and 49. It is slower in theory, but we’ll get an earlier undercut. I think I might leave Perez on the same strategy. Just split the uh strategies for both drivers here. He does have DRS on you. Touch on. Copy. Let’s get after these cars in front. [Music] [Music] Tires are ready. Copy. [Music] Copy. Charge on. Copy. [Music] So coming up to the end of lap 27.lair leads from Max Vstappen, but only just Russell in third. Then it’s a nearly 6second gap back to Science and Hamilton who are fourth and fifth. Antonelli in sixth with Oscar seventh. Oscar has closed up a bit after being stuck behind us uh on the safety car restart. Cenoda sits in eighth place but has a little bit of an issue with his car. Then it’s a big gap to Aon thanks to us holding up the pack. 20 seconds. Perez in 10th place. currently in the points but only for another couple of meters it would seem as through goes Bonto. Botas now in 12th just behind his teammate is going to be boxing in a couple of laps to put new tires on. Goes soft. Perez is going to go an extra lap or two to try and go onto a set of uh hard tires. Limblad 13th Alante 14th 15th for Bayman 16th is Colipinto 17th Gazzley 18th is Hulenberg 19th for Isaac Hatcha he’s had a disappointing race 20th for Liam Lawson two retirements so far Alex taken out by Lando Norris earlier on bringing out safety car Norris will have a penalty in qualifying in the next Grand Prix charge on. Yeah, copy. So, one more lap for Very He’s finished charging up his battery again. Still have that fault annoyingly. Yeah, coming. box. Box box. If that fault doesn’t clear, which I don’t think it will, then uh that could be uh the last time we use this back this ERS unit in a in a Grand Prix weekend apart from practice. I’m going to go an extra few laps if I can with Czecho. Give me the option of being able to push the uh the hards and antelli’s in. He is going onto a set of hard tires. [Music] I love the look of the Yeah, good year, Eagles. Especially on cars that don’t have that colored uh wheel rim. Gazzly coming in behind us as well. So, let’s see what tires Gazzley goes on to. Okay, copy. Probably going to go hard to the end. So, we’re going to keep Perez out another couple of laps if we can. We have been dropped since turned the battery off. Let’s uh push some of that fuel. Good stop there for uh for Valkyrie. 2.39. Might be his quickest stop of the season. You are doing a good job. Yeah, copy. You’re in clearer. Let’s get these tires fired up. Car behind you at the moment is Gazzley and let’s see if there are going to be a few stops in the next few laps. We got a chance of an undercut here. So that’s why we’re going on straight on the attack. No more lifting coaster. Another reason why I’m keeping Perez out as long as I can is to try and just keep everyone behind going slower to give Valtry that undercut opportunity if it arises. Good defending again from Czech. Okay, copy. And charge button on. Charge button on. Okay, so in theory, Valkyrie will uh if everyone in, you know, boxes about the same time as Czecho does, Valkyrie will jump everybody. He was right on the gearbox of Perez and should now be lapping quicker at the moment. B1 I think we got another two laps in these tires yet. Race is long. [Music] Gap to Lawson’s down to 11 and 1/2 seconds. Tires still not up to temperature yet for Valtry. And there we go. Battery refilled. Charge button on. So, do I box this lap or do I box the next one? See if I can stay out one more lap. You need to keep your K1 usage down. I’m out of battery for Valkyrie. And uh he’s not going to be recharging that much anytime soon with the uh with the charging issue that he has. So, that’s going to affect his pace. Not going to have full battery deployment available on a lap like normally. Maxes into the pits. Medium tired on the snap and Hamilton in as well. Pretty good stop there from Red Bull. [Applause] Tidy start for Hamilton as well. And Valtry’s got that gap down to under 10 seconds. Tires are now up to temperature. Spare fuel’s been burnt off. It’s a fastest lap for Kimmy Anteneelli on those uh brand new hard tires. [Music] Do I think teams are going to be more focused on next year now and not adding a upgrades with six races to go? Uh teams have been fully in on next year’s car for a while now. you know, the uh the top teams will still bring out some updates here and there, but they’ll be pretty sparse. It’s such a huge change to the regulations that uh yeah, pretty much everyone’s already all in. [Music] just clobbered the mic. All right, let’s box Perez. Box now. box. Looks like Cenot’s fog has got worse. Very now just uh 6 seconds behind Lawson, so he’s closing in quickly. Do I think they’ll make F1 manages 2026? No. [Music] [Applause] And watch a wide line on exit. 2.5 seconds stop. Not the greatest. He’s going to come out behind Gazzley. But Gazzley has also gone on to set a soft tire. So he’s probably going to stop again. Perez going through to the end now. Is Gazzley gap to him 2.2. too. And again, we could be mad to see some stops from other cars. So, let’s uh go straight on the attack and you can use all the boost bar. Yeah, Perez’s uh battery will recharge at a normal rate, so he’ll be fine. Valkyrie is still nursing that issue. [Music] New fastest lap again for Kimmy. A 114.9 charge on it. [Music] [Music] Factories tires again just dipping out of the uh temperature window. [Music] Still closing on Lawson by a second and a half a lap though. [Music] Just going to have to nurse Ver’s battery. for the rest of the race. I think [Music] combination of condition and curves is uh stopping that fault from clearing. Hamilton goes fastest now a 114.6 having just been uh just taken that away from Vstappen at a 1148. Engine temp very much under control for Valtry but car is still not happy. We’re happy with time management again. Tires just dipping out of the window. Paris’s tires still not up to temperature. Let’s see what his lap time is across the line. [Music] It should be quicker, but it’s not. 1162. Thought it’d be quicker than Valkyrie. [Music] And still we closing on Lawson despite being in harvest mode to rebuild the battery. And there we go. The fault has finally cleared. So now we can go into topup mode. Charge on. And we can deploy and recoup at the same rate as Okon comes into the pits. Valkyrie might might get an undercut here. I don’t think Perez will though. Medium tires. Just a reminder on gas. Yeah, copy. [Music] [Applause] I think Aon’s going to get me. Yeah, Aon gets out just in front of Isaac Haja. Okay, let’s get on it. Still everything to play for. If we hadn’t had that battery issue, we’d have cleared him as Charlotte hits the pits. Medium tires for the Ferrari. See, if we had started on hards, we could have gone medium medium from that uh safety car, but because we started on the mediums, it was either convert to a two stop or uh just try and hang on as best we can for the one stop with and then hope the hards work. And so far, that’s still not up to temperature. And charge button on. Yeah, copy. Here we go. Valkyrie right on there with Lawson [Music] up the inside. We’ll use some battery to finish the move. Long way to go in this race. Hadar doesn’t have battery, so we might jump him into turn one. Bush. Copy. Nope. Harvest then. Charge on. Yeah, copy. Pick our opportunity where we can [Music] Perez is in danger of getting lapped if George doesn’t come in soon. Still good. That would be a disaster. [Music] Meanwhile, this dirty air is helping pump some heat back into Valer’s tires. [Music] Couldn’t quite get him up the inside there, but we’ll have DRS. So, we’ll keep the harvest on and then we’ll deploy out of the wall [Music] to get the move done into turn one. Oh, he’s into the pits. We’ll deploy anyway. Lawson’s in behind us as well, so that should give us a little bit of clear air behind us. Charge up. Yeah, there is Gazzley. [Music] H tires for Hajar. Mediums for Lawson. Harris’s tires still haven’t hit the window yet. And that is George Russell blue flagging Isaac Hajar. Hajar getting blue flagged for Carlo sites. Big gap now back to Syuki Cenoda who is in third place. Paris’s tires are finally finally in the window. Will they stay there though? That’s the question. [Music] Let’s go back to Valkyrie. Gazzley’s caught us. Hulkenberg’s in the pits. Will easily get past him. There he is. just pulling in as we roar past him. New fast lap for Pierre Gazzley pushing and getting the DRS off of us as well. [Music] And Russell is into the pit. So that eliminates the uh threat of being lapped for for Perez. for the mediums. But that gap on track will go up from a couple of seconds, say what, 5 seconds on track to over 20. We should be good now. Be around 25 seconds maybe. Maybe maybe even 30, but who knows? Gets through ahead of George. That was important. Max now on paper is the uh is the net leader because we’re expecting another stop still for Sykes and Cenoda. Correct. Gazzley gets through and he did it on the run to the chicane. No, the hairpin. So he’ll have DRS as well. Finally. What do you mean finally? You’re only behind him for a lap and a half. If that my tires have dropped out of the window again. Track temperature starting to climb back up again. 39.2. Clouds are out though. Oh, it’s a fault for Russell. deployment. Some battery issues there. And he’s going to come under immediate pressure from Lewis Hamilton. Going to get clear skies, but not for another 6 minutes or so. [Music] A George just sticking his car exactly where he needs to to keep Hamilton behind him there. But can he do it again into turn one? If he’s got battery issues as well, that might hamper his chances. Lewis shaping for a move. He’s going to have to try and go the long way around. That’s going to be tricky. George shuts him down. Pastry into the pits. Is he gone softs? Powerhead is Gazzly. He has. He’s gone soft tires. Interesting. This focus is a long race. Very interesting. Push. There is his tires still dropping in and out of that window. wear rates starting to get to the point where it might affect the graph a little bit. Keep an eye on that. Gazzi’s really turning up the pace. He’s trying to get past Colinto before Colinto stops. [Music] very rudely shown the uh show a pair of elbows there. Just do your best by his teammate. [Music] into having another look and into the pits. [Applause] The calendar’s around 7, which is a little earlier in the calendar than it normally is. Plus, uh there’s cloud cover, which is uh dropping the track temperature down. Wasn’t an issue on practice on uh on Friday. It was 29° and the track temperature was pretty high. It’s been fluctuating here. Sun’s out now, so the track temperature should start to climb. It’s less than 40 at the moment, just over 39°. We have seen it dip down to about 35 at one point. Expected to go back over 40 again over the next few laps. [Music] New fastest lap for Vnappen, a 14.1 sight still out there. Cenoda in fourth place has dropped away from those two. Russell is right on him. [Music] I do mean right on him. And Hamilton is there as well. [Music] We need to reduce K1 usage. Drop it. Charge on. Drop it. Hey, we got back past uh past Gazzley. Now we can see what happened. Now this was Valkyrie Botas at the final chicane. The opportunity begging to be taken. Got the uh the launch and we are back. And now Botas moves up the field. I don’t think we’re going to get any points today. New fastest lap for Nico Hulenberg who is steaming up to the back of Jacko. [Music] There he is. [Music] [Applause] [Music] No lift off needed. You’re doing a good job. [Music] suggest that you can reduce the amount of lift and coast at six laps until we box Valkyrie. There we go. Borletto into the pits. [Music] [Music] Valkyrie will jump in as Gazzley gets past us and then dives into the pits. [Music] So Gazzley going early for his final stop compared to us. He’s going mediums. If you are able to increase pace, it would be a good time to do it. He’s going to come back out behind Colipinto. Is he? No, he’s he’s managed to uh just get ahead. Can he stay ahead though? Yes, he can. He holds Colinto behind him. [Music] Perez keeping Hulkenberg behind him, much to uh Nico’s annoyance. Yeah, I think I can leave Perez’s tires like this for the rest of the race, it would seem. Pulber behind with the RS. Okay, [Music] copy that. You’re doing a good job on tires to keep it like this. Track temperature back up to 41.3. It’ll keep climbing. for the next few minutes anyway and then it will start to cool again just as we’re coming out on fresh tires. Yuki finally makes his uh stop. What tires is he going on to? Softs or mediums? Mediums. Little bit of a delay with the front right. [Music] He will come out behind Oscar, but Senota’s going to the end. Oscar, I think, will have to stop again. Well, he might have to. Might be able to take those soft to the end. What about tires? SP [Music] and we need to increase lift and coast by 30%. Copy. And we need some lift and coast for tire attemps. Copy. So deployed. deployed. Copy. Is closing in onto the back of Ollie Bman. [Music] Pretty sure Bman’s going to be stopping very soon as is Alonzo and Limblad. If I can get in and out ahead of them or sorry, get in before them, I might be able to get out. 3 seconds behind with an undercut progress. You jump them. Don’t have much in the way of battery left. Balletto is steaming up to the back of me on his new tires. Need to get into the slipstream in DRS so I can start harvesting again. Yeah, got it. There’s not much pace left in these tires at the moment. Only got a couple of laps left before they uh give up. Copy. [Applause] Still close enough. I’m having to drive a little bit more defensively now. I say I’m having to without her. He’s having to remember a long way to go in this race. All right, so Portleta gets through. That’s probably not a bad thing because now I can immediately slap the harvest on. I can’t go faster. Okay, let’s get on it still. Everything’s played. I want to be quick when we come out of the pits and I might be boxing at the end of the next lap. charge on. Yeah, I am. So, we need to try and get some battery into the car this lap if we can. Let’s get after these cars in front. [Applause] Okay, ke boxing this lap. In fact, actually, yep. Coming in. I wonder cuz I’ve got another set of medium tires. Would aggressive mediums be better pacewise? They would. And we wouldn’t have to worry about them not staying in the temperature window. and we’d still have a little bit of wiggle room for wear for thermal wear as well. So, uh, let’s actually go on to another set of mediums instead. Box this lap. Got it. Box. [Music] We’re going to keep Czecho on track unless we get another safety car, [Music] in which case we’ll probably box him. And then depending on how long there is left, it’ll either be for an aggressive set of mediums or a set of softs. [Music] So, Bortoleta gets past Bareman. We could potentially have got the overtake if we weren’t going to hit the pits. [Music] There we go. Undercut engaged hopefully. 21 laps to go. Mclair still leads. Science is in second place, but it still hasn’t stopped for a second time. And it try and go to the end. It would be tricky. You’re in clear air. And his pace would really fall away at the end of the Grand Prix. [Music] So far, he’s hanging with the snappen. They are the leaders. Actually, we’ve just got out in time to avoid a blue flag. So currently, but we need to ah we’re about to get blue flagged. Need to stamp on it here. Car behind is lost. 9 seconds to the pack. If we can get the pace to get past sights. Blue flag for Botas. [Music] If we can use get past science with pace here, we could avoid getting immediately blue flag flank again and then try and get past or at least stay withllair. So I still think science might need to stop again. I was getting blue flagged trying to overtake him and that’s now leaving me vulnerable to the stappen. The stappen goes through. Ah, this is not what I needed at all. We need to do the full management on this set. Limblad’s in. And there is sights going into the pits. God damn it. If we hadn’t tried to overtake him, we wouldn’t be lapped behind the staff. Medium tires. Can we stay ahead of George in a bad spot here? E8. [Music] Perez is doing 159s. Car behind it is Lawson. Valkyrie can go quicker than that, but he’s not going to be able to. He’s going to keep getting blue flagged as he gets blue flagged for George. It won’t be long till we get blue flag for Antonelli and Hamilton and then we’ll have a gap before Science comes back through. Oh, is that a retirement for Cenoda? Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh yeah, that’s very much a retirement out of this one. Coda’s engine go bang. [Music] Charge on. God, here come the blue flags for the next guys. This is our overcut being destroyed here. And that’s Lawson and Hajar closing right in on me. Ah, so frustrating. [Music] [Music] Snoda’s race is done. That’s going to put Perez up into the points just still got a long way to go though. As out of the race goes Yuki Cenoda. So, Perez promoted to 13th uh to uh to 10th. Any words from Yuki? Nope. They wouldn’t be broadcastable, even if there were words, I think. Let’s uh at least try and rebuild the battery while we’re stuck here in the dirty air. Charge on, please. Copy. And if anyone in front’s about to get lapped like uh Bearman, [Music] we might be able to actually just breeze on through here following in the Ferrari’s footsteps. Nah, Bman squeezes through and that’s Hamilton into the pits. A long way to go. Wow, hard tires. And he’s going to be aggressive on those with 17 laps to go. Charge on. Ah, we’ve been overtaken. Gazzley got past Hulkenberg and immediately jumped past us as well. I didn’t even see Gazzley at all. But, uh, he’s steamrololled through into the points. Hulk behind. Got to him. 1.4. All right, let’s concentrate. So Alonso is now right in front of Bareman as well. Again, not able to capitalize on the blue flags. Do your best. Not even able to stay in DRS range at the moment. It’s not been a good afternoon for VR. A lot of his race has been compromised unfortunately. Gazzley in front. We have broken away from Hulenberg as Colinto goes through. We expect to see him coming up to the back of us soon as well. And that uh point that we were gifted a couple of laps ago is slipping away from us. just cannot keep pace with Gazzley. [Music] Tires are starting to wear a little bit too fast. I’m going to just ease them down for a couple of laps. Take care of the tires. Copy. Just do your best. [Applause] Mode push. Haj gets past Lawson. Those two fighting over the last two positions. Solair is currently the race leader 7 seconds ahead of a stapen Russell in third and fourth big gap to science in fifth six is also a fair way behind then it’s Hamilton in seventh. [Music] [Music] They are desperately trying to stay with Ollie Bman here. He’s tucked up behind Alonso who’s tucked up behind George Russell and Kimmy Antonelli. [Music] This focus is a long race. I don’t think we got the DRS here again. No, no, we did. We did this time. That’s good cuz uh charge on. Got to be wary of signs coming through. And that’s Lawson into the pits. [Music] Yeah, Dazzy’s gone. He’s got nothing left to try and keep up with him. T on. Colinto is just outside of our DRS, but it won’t take him long to catch us. [Music] Probably harst by the start of the next lap. [Music] charge on. Copy. Cool your tires. Copy. Might be a terrible decision to cool the tires and charge the battery at the same time here. [Music] Very happy with your tire use. Give Perez a little bit more pace. Colopinto is just half a second behind. [Music] There’s a new fastest lap for Lewis Hamilton right there now with Oscar Pastri. Perez is about to come under attack from Argentina. South versus Central in the Battle of the Americas. And we lose that fight for the second time with Borletto having done this already this race. Continue like this. Hulenberg is in the pit and next car behind will be Hulenberg [Applause] and so is Max. Wow, Max is stopping again. mediums now for the closing 12 laps. Got to Oscar’s in as well. I did wonder if Oscar was going to go for another stop. Couldn’t take those soft all the way. Let’s have mode push. Copy. Still the same. Tires are quite hot. [Music] I will be uh jumping back on rolling line again once we’re done here tonight for a few hours. So, uh, remember, keep your eyes on the feed cuz, uh, another stream will be popping up shortly after this one ends. Continuing my experiments with, uh, AI on some pre-existing layouts. Pick the pace back up. Charge on. All good. [Applause] 11 laps to go. [Music] They are struggling to stay with the cars in front. [Music] Anthony picked his pace up last lap. Did a 1147. We were caught napping and got dropped. Now we’ve uh turned the tires back up and we stopped harvesting. We should hopefully close back up again. What about tires? A little bit of draining on the front left. It’s not too bad. There we go. 10 laps to go. [Music] Are we going to see any more late stops? Looks like Perez is going to be the only one going on the one stop as Hulkenberg sets a new fastest lap. And how says, “Nope, it’s mine. 113897. And there we go. AON’s in the pits. No worries, mate. Pastry now with a new fastest lap. A 1138 on his new soft tires. [Music] There’s more pace in Pestri as well. Potentially soft tires. And it’s a slow stop for Rock, but he should still get out in front of Perez. It will be tight. It will be very tight. There he gets out just in front of Czecho, but Czecho does manage to sneak through. Way to go. Next car is Alonzo. And that will stay ahead of him for very long if at all. Copy. Colinto has just left us in the dust. Look a 133 now for Hamilton. [Music] And that is Charlair coming through to blue flag Estan. you. Yep. [Music] Perez is pulling over the length through route. [Applause] Can we keep Okon behind? We’re not going to have DRS. Okon will. I think. Oh, no. AON doesn’t. [Applause] Crowd starting to give their appreciation of the racing they’re seeing with not many laps to go. Antonelli is now just half a second behind George. [Music] [Applause] Come on, battery. You got more pace than this. Push, please. Okay, you can save less. Copy. Writing here is on the wall for 11th place. and a battery. Aron with DRS. He’s going to go flying past us here. I think covering him off nicely on the first straight. What about the run to turn one though? And Limblad is closing in as well. But I’m not losing. [Applause] So far so good. just about keeping him at bay, but it’s slowing us down as well. Still there. [Music] [Music] Now that I’ve been latched, I don’t have to worry about fuel for a bit as well. probably keep pushing fuel-wise to the end of the race. Now we’re going to lose the position. Let’s go into harvest mode. See if we can recover some battery. Continue. Keep going. Yeah, look how far behind we are from Colinto now. Nearly 11 about 11 seconds behind him. We need a retirement. You need to keep for us to have any chance of getting points now. Probably going to need to 12th will be a decent finish for Czecho. Flyware is dripping down at a quicker rate than the predicting prediction, but we are pushing them at a higher rate. And Tis on, please. Copy. Still got a really good amount of grip here with Valtry. Got a yellow flag. It’s Bree. Someone just running wide. Antonelli running wide. Right, let’s have a look as we go into turn four. Just a bit too wide at that point. That won’t do the floor of the car any good. It’s cost him a little bit of time. Slowed him down slightly, which has slowed down a lot. So in front of us, it’s helped us close the gap by another couple of ten go full attack on the tires. Understood. Two stop hasn’t worked. I didn’t think it would, which is why I was thinking of the one stop. That really early safety car kind of made it tricky for us. [Music] It’s always going to be difficult just staying with the cars in front of us, but with a grip disparity made it almost impossible. Had we not had that safety car, maybe Czecho could have been in a position for points. I don’t know. It depends what the AI would have done with their tires. We’ll never know. It might have played out as it is. It might have been actually worse for us. [Music] Battery is close to the back of Alonso. Almost in range. Come on, Valtry. Mode push, please. Mode push. There we go. That is uh Limblad. Copy. No. Yes. Limblad getting lapped. Awesome. Oh, and Alonso got himself ahead. Oh, come on. Come on. Come on. No science is coming through and we’re going to get blue flag for the stappen again in a minute. We managed to hold the position on Limblad. We had a chance to get past the launcher and that immediately disappeared. Now we’re pulling over for early for the snappen. There’s Max. Hamilton’s going to be coming through soon as well. Let’s turn these tires down before they melt. Get those tires temperatures down. [Music] Build some battery to prep. We’re close enough to get DRS. Hopefully Max didn’t get it from Alonso. [Music] Ah, damn it. All right. Well, we’re close to Alonso and I don’t think he’ll get DRS off the stappen here. He might do. Hamilton’s coming. There’s progress to be made. We’re probably going to get blue flagged at the as soon as we exit this corner. Yeah, we are. Limblad goes through. What about tires? Through goes Hamilton and Limblat’s going to steal the place from us. God damn it. I hate [ __ ] like that. Can we get him back? Yes, we can. And four laps to go. Okay. You’re doing a really good job. Our engine. Sorry. Our gearbox and our ERS are both on the verge of a fault. I’ve got to turn the engine down. May not finish the race. We need to do more lifting coast. Please increase by 10%. Just trying to get close to the back of Hamilton so that when Alonzo gets blue flags, we can try and go through. That didn’t happen, but at least we’ll get into range of Alonzo. So I think is anyone else about to come through a huge gap back to Pashri. So no more blue flags be two to go when we cross the line. [Music] Charge on. It’s going to be 12th place for Perez. And three laps to go. Copy. Two laps left now that we’ve been lapsed. [Music] I can go full attack on these tires for both drivers now. Just needs to try and squeeze some battery into the car for Valtry here to give him a chance at Alonso. Okay, let’s get on it. That’s Perez getting lapped by Hamilton. Let’s potentially set up Alonso for a run at the back of Czecho. He’s not quite close enough yet. Thank god will push like crazy. Let’s try and h stay with Lewis and stay away from Alonzo so that Valtry gets the opportunity to make that overtake mode push. Yep. [Applause] All right. Come on, Valtry. Two laps to go. 12th and 13th would be a great finish for us considering again our lack of general pace. How we’ve used our tires has been the difference between us and our competitors. This is the final lap. No worries. Perez has a two second gap to Alonso. So there’s no threat. It’s all about whether we can get the move done going forward instead. [Music] [Applause] [Music] From tire points of view, we don’t think lifting co is necessary. coming. [Applause] Just a reminder, guys. Might possibly run out of fuel for Czecho. Increase this. Yeah. Valkyries is not going to get the move done. Is he Oh, he gets him. Is today’s winner. We need to reduce K1 usage. Copy. Very out of fuel. Not V. Check’s out of fuel, but he crossed the line just in time. Woo! That was tight. 12th place for Czecho, 13th for Valtry. I’ll I’ll take that. [Music] I’m happy with that. [Music] This is a wonderful moment for Sha Llair as well. Such a beautiful result. An inspired strategy from the team there. What a welldeserved win that was. A great display of team spirit there as everyone finally gets the chance to share this moment. And the Monagas driver certainly proved his worth with a terrific drive today. That’s their second win of the season. A brilliant talent who looks so at home on the track. [Music] Plenty of smiles for the cameras as the drivers can let off some steam here in Montreal. [Music] Well, Karu, how do you think they’ll be feeling in the team garage at the end of that? Well, it was a bit of a mixed bag here. Some things went their way, but others didn’t. I think their main target now will be finding some consistency for sure. And that’s it for this weekend’s F1 action here in Montreal. For the next Grand Prix, make sure you join us at the renowned City Circuit of Monaco. Prepare yourselves for one of the most legendary rounds of the season. So, confirmation of the final result, win number two this season for Shalair. That will bring him closer to the top of the standings, but George’s second place will keep him top. Science gets himself onto the podium ahead of Kimmy Antonelli. Uh so up three places there for Science. A great result for him. Uh especially considering that Albon dropped out of the points with his retirement uh thanks to uh fellow countryman Lando Norris. It is fourth place for Kimmy Antonelli. didn’t quite have the pace today, but still strong points for him and for Mercedes. Max starts and finishes in fifth place. Lewis down a couple of places into sixth, seventh place for Oscar Pestri. His race was pretty much stuffed as soon as he came out behind us in the safety car. Uh he ended up losing a lot of ground and was never really able to get back in contention, hence the 23 second gap to Hamilton at the end there. Up nine places for Pierre Gazzley. He made multiple stops today and he made it work. And for Colinto as well, up six places. Alpine showing genuine pace here today. 10th place, the final point goes to Gabriel Bortalto. His first point of the season. Then in 11th place, it’s Estan Aon. 12th place for Sergio Perez. Up eight places. Six places gained for Valtry. in 13th ahead of Fernando Alonso, Ollie Bman, Arvid Limblad, Nico Hulenberg, Isaac Haja, and Liam Lawson. Three retirements. Yuki’s engine went bang and uh forced him out as a retirement. And Lando Norris torpedoed Alex Albon at the hairpin early on after about 20 laps and brought out a safety car. Let’s take a look then at the driver’s standings. George stays top. The gap is down though to just five points. Big points for Charles this weekend, not just in the race, but also in the sprint as well. So, 33 points gained for him. Uh 18 for Russell. Max in third on 96 points. Has lost quite a bit of ground uh today. Lewis is up a couple of places, up to fourth, but he’s way back on 68 points. Tight little battle here uh in the battle for fourth at the moment. Hamilton on 68 points, Oscar on 66 and Kimmy Antonelli tied on 66th in sixth place just behind Oscar. Uh 17 points gained today uh well over this race weekend. Oscar’s race win keeping him above Antelli at the moment on race countback. Uh Norris down three places into seven. Just three points across the whole weekend came from the sprint. No points obviously for not finishing the Grand Prix. And a good weekend for Carlos Science. He’s up four places up to 43 points now. 21 earned across the sprint and the Grand Prix. Moves comfortably clear of his teammate now who picked up just one point from the sprint. Uh ninth place for him. 10th place for Fernando Alonso. No points for him this weekend. Gazzley just a point behind him now. Six points for Gazzley this weekend. uh in 11th place, Yuki Senola down into 12th. Valtry stays 13th. He’s on 18 points still. And then no change either for Hulenberg, Hajar or Lawson and Aon. Colinto up into 18th, gets his first points of the season this weekend. Uh a point a piece I think in the sprint and the Grand Prix. Perez gets himself uh down a place still on two points. Uh Bortalto with his first point of the season. So uh yeah, that was ninth place today for Colinto, wasn’t it? So two points for that. Uh and then the non-scorers, we have Ollie Bman down into 2 sec 21st and 22nd is Arvid Limblad. Just two drivers not scoring so far. In the constructor standings, uh very close now at the top of the constructor standings. Decent points, 35 points for Mercedes. They’re on 190, but a great weekend for Ferrari. 48 points gained. They are now just three points behind Mercedes and it’s becoming a bit of a two-horse race between those two at the top. McLaren a bit of a distant third at the moment. Still a long way to go in this season. Could easily turn that around. They’re on 125.62 behind Ferrari and uh 65 behind Mercedes. Red Bull are just 18 points behind McLaren in fourth. Williams upper place into fifth. They’re on 78 points, 22 points this weekend. beaten only by Ferrari and Mercedes in terms of points all this weekend. Uh what a great result for them. Aston down a place into sixth as a result. No points and they’re on 56. Alpine gain eight points and they’re and still in seventh but closing that gap and pulling away from us as well. We stay eighth with 20 points. Audi closed the gap by one. They’re on 15. Then it’s Racing Balls with four and H with two. Let’s take a look at the pit stop challenge. Audi got the quickest stop with a 2.3 second stop uh just ahead of Max Vstappen Oscar Pastri Gazzley Botas in fifth place. That’s some good points for us in the pit stop competition and I think that is Valtry’s quickest stop of the season. Might even be the team. No, it’s not quite the team’s look. Our quickest stop is a 2.38. So, uh 4,000 slower than our quickest stop of the season. Uh but Valtry’s team, pit team wins the battle of the quickest stop between our two crews for the first time this season. I think Mercedes in sixth with George, seventh for Ferrari’s Hamilton, eighth is was Hajar, ninth was Bareman and Colinto 10th. So the standings now look like this. McLaren at top with 143 points. No points for Racing Bulls. So that gap goes back up. It’s 38 points now. Racing Bulls did not score any points this weekend. and that’ll be a disappointment for them. Uh Red Bull on the other hand had a better weekend, 22 points gained. They’re now on 97, just eight points behind their sister team. Mercedes in fourth have 83 points, two ahead of Ferrari. Then it’s Alpine on 74. Audi up two places into seventh on 43 points. A big point for them today, 25 points thanks to Borletto’s fastest stop. Uh Aston stay where they uh are pointswise in 28 but drop down a place and we gain a place jumping over Har. Uh we are now just three points behind Aston and five ahead of H. Williams bottom still just the eight points for them. Now you see a summary of our stops. 2.39 for Valtry’s first stop. 2.45 for his second. Would that even have been good enough? No, it wouldn’t. So, the first stop was the critical one. Uh, and it paid off thankfully. Uh, not a great stop for Czecho. 2.5, couple of ten shy of where he needed to be if he wanted points as well. Both of our drivers though did achieve the sponsor goals. So, that’s another $946,000, give or take, added to our bank balance. That’s enough money to get started with some wings as we head back and start prepping for Monaco. [Music] So, the uh final upgrade for the helipad is done. I don’t know if we got any benefit from it today, but we should hopefully get a fraction more money uh from our sponsors when we go to Monaco. Uh that’s uh just 4 days away. Uh let’s take a look at our inbox. See what’s happened to our cars. We know about the ERS for Valtry. It’s gearbox is in pretty rough shape as well. Uh this is the important email. The post race data. Let’s see. Just a front wing failure. We knew that was coming, but I’m surprised it’s the only part that’s broken. That’s fine. Uh yeah, going to need to swap out that ERS. And that gearbox was not looking pretty uh at the end of the Grand Prix. Luckily, it seems to have come through unscathed though, which is good. There’s confirmation of the helipad upgrade. That’ll give us an extra percentage point on our sponsor payout. And on top of that, it’s also going to improve our marketability uh which hopefully will help with sponsor objectives and will certainly help with uh attracting better sponsors next season when we get to that point. Let’s get that front wing fixed. There we go. rear wings at risk now. Uh we have wings to build in a day, but we can’t build them for two days cuz we got to wait for that suspend that side pod to finish going through. So, let’s at least get those built. There we go. We’ll get them completed. We’ve got 1.3 mil. So, that might be enough to rush a pair of wings in time. I don’t think it will. No, even if I rush him, I’m still only going to get one. Um, it’s too it’s not worth the risk. So, uh, there we go. Side pod is complete. Let’s see. Uh, after Monaco, we go to Barcelona. We got plenty of time. And there’s no rush. So, we can afford to uh take our time with the uh building of these wings. So, let’s see. We got 2 days to go until the chassis. So, we can start the rear wings in 2 days time just before we uh you know head to Monaco. Let’s start the front wings then. These are what? 225. I think it’s 225 and is it 275? That’s front wings again. Uh rear wings. There we go. Rear wings 275. Yes. Okay. Let’s uh start with the front wings. And we’re going to go with four of those. There we go. That leaves me with about 400. Let’s go with three just so I can afford to get two wings started, two rear wings started. And then we can add to that when we come back from uh Monaco with the money we get hopefully from our sponsors. uh at least we’ll be covered enough financially to be able to afford to make both sets, you know, uh one for each uh one for each car on both front and back this way. Assuming worse comes to worse, we get nowhere, no money at all. Uh let’s check in with the board. See what they thought of the results. Hopefully, they’ll be happy. They were happy. They weren’t delighted, but they were happy. Maybe they’re starting to expect points a little bit more regularly given our uh performances so far this season. We’re outperforming the car and our boardroom is about to need a refurb. So, how much is that going to cost to upgrade all the money I have basically? We’ll look at maybe upgrading that when we come back from Monaco. The wings take priority. We need the performance on the car rather than new executive toys for the board. So, uh, yeah, if they have to be a bit grumpy for a race or two, they’ll just have to be grumpy for a race or two. [Music] I promise promise them we’ll put a new uh coffee machine in for them. We’ll make it an espresso. Right, it’s advanced time. There we go. So, the chassis is complete. So, we now should have a couple of spare chassis. Let’s have a look. Yes, two spare chassis. Lovely stuff. Front rings. We have one spare on the front and on the rear going into the next Grand Prix. We only need a spare for the next race because uh we’ll be replacing them for Barcelona completely. Let’s go ahead now and get those rear wings into production. There we go. I can afford two of them. Again, not massive gains, but combined with the front wing and the new chassis and uh suspension that we’ve just put on the car as well should hopefully give us a total uh overall package improvement. Uh, that will bring us a little closer to the rest of the grid. We’re still going to be probably the worst car on the grid. There we go. So, what’s the weather report? We haven’t actually looked at the Monaco weather report. It’s going to be dry, uh, but sunny on race day. Again, don’t know what to do strategy-wise here. Given how hard it is to overtake our cars in complete lack of pace, I think I think we have to one stop it. The question is though, do I go for a very early stop, undercut, slap on a set of hards, and then hope we maybe get a safety car later in the race where we where the whole field will box and we can basically get a free stop onto some fresh tires. I think we’re gonna have to do that. I think we start on the hards then um by the time we do make our stop we’ll be probably at the back of the field. So with very little chance of actually punching through. So I think we have to go for an early stop. Go on to the hards and basically do a Williams just uh just hang on and hold everybody up and try and keep everyone behind as much as we can. Uh yeah, it’s going to be a tricky one, but uh we shall see how we do. So that’s it for this Grand Prix. We’ll be back at the usual time tomorrow for round eight as we head to Monaco. There is the uh standings for both drivers and constructors, the top seven of each. George leads by just five points from uh Charllair who has uh come back alive again. Max not completely out of touch yet, but uh drifting away a little bit and then a big gap back to uh this uh three/4-way fight for fourth place. Lando could have definitely been in the mix had he not taken out Albon. Uh and then it’s a two-horse race at the moment in the constructors. We’ve got Mercedes and Ferrari. Very, very close. Just three points between them and a big gap to McLaren. Uh but it’s, as I say, still very early in the season. It’s a 24 round season and we’ve only done seven Grand Prix so far. So, a long way to go. Another 17 Grand Prix still. Uh anything could happen uh in the the rest of this season. Uh we haven’t even reached the halfway point yet. So, right. Uh that is it. As I said, back at the usual time tomorrow for round eight. Uh I am going to be back online again in uh a few minutes with rolling line once more. Uh, I’m going to be, as I say, exploring some layouts that are pre-built that I’ve downloaded as mods and, uh, also, uh, playing about with, uh, the AI features so I can, uh, on a map that’s pre-built, so I can really try and get the most out of how to interact with the points and try and program for certain trains to activate certain things and then others not. Let’s see if I can actually get that to work properly. That’ll be uh a few hours, I think. Again, it’s something I would be doing tonight anyway. So, uh you may as well come and keep me company while I’m doing it if you’re if you’re curious. Uh I was thinking about doing it on Twitch last night, but uh when I went to try and get it on Twitch, I couldn’t actually get it to uh to stream to Twitch, so I just gave up and stream back to onto YouTube. Uh I’m going to do the same again. I’m going to stay on YouTube tonight. Uh but going forward we’ll probably uh be doing some uh late night Twitch streaming on uh Rolling Line. Uh so yeah, YouTube for now, but in the future it will move over to Twitch. Uh hopefully I’ll see some of you for that. Uh if not, I understand. Like I said, it’s uh it’s just something I’d be doing anyway, and I figured, you know, if you want to come keep me company, you are more than welcome to do so. Uh until then though, that’s it for me. Thanks for watching. I am Jim Bob and I’ll be back with more F1 Manager very soon. [Music]
