Silksong’s Next DLC Might Be the Steel Kingdom
What’s the next DLC for Silkong going to be? We already know free DLC is coming. Team Cherry’s already confirmed that. But there’s a ton of evidence it’s going to focus on a place called the Steel Kingdom. In the original trailers for Silkong, we actually see Steel Kingdom enemies chasing a hornet. And in Steel Soul mode, there’s a hidden character called Steel Sears Z who’s hunting her disciple Solah, a traitor from the Steel Kingdom. There’s even tablets talking about the Steel Kingdom in the cradle. But the biggest clue is Sharpi, the Steel Assassin. He was a Kickstarter backer with a finished model and he’s nowhere in the game. And there is no way Team Chariot has cuts a backer build.
Team Cherry confirmed free DLC for Silksong but where will it take us? There’s a growing theory it’ll explore the mysterious Steel Kingdom, a place hinted at through cut characters, hidden lore, and even Kickstarter backer rewards.
