What Could Be In The Little Nightmares 3 DLC | The Kin Returns | Character Concept
Hey everyone, Nick here and welcome back to Gamer and welcome back to our Little Nightmares character concept series. So, in today’s video, we’ll be looking into what we think might happen in a possible Little Nightmares 3 DLC. So, we’ll go through the overarching story, characters, and all that good stuff as well. But before we get into any of that, do be sure to leave a like and subscribe to Gamer as it helps out a lot and it’s greatly appreciated. And lastly, we just want to state that everything I say in this video is not actually linked to the overall universe and lore of Little Nightmares. So, this isn’t actually what’s going to happen in the DLC. This is just a story that we created. So, keep that in mind and enjoy the video. Also, it goes without saying we will be spoiling some things about the game. So, consider this your spoiler warning. But all righty, with that all out of the way, let’s get into the video. So, Little Nightmares 3 has finally been released. And now after playing the whole game, there are many questions that we are left with. But the biggest question that we have on our minds is what will happen in the Little Nightmares 3 DLC. Will they continue the story of Lo and Alone or will we be introduced to a brand new character? Well, we’d like to take a look at what could possibly happen after Lo and Alone are separated. In the end of the game, we see them both enter the mirror. Alone seems very hesitant, but Lo insists that she escapes with him. But when they enter through it, Alone is cast out of the mirror. She then fades away, leaving only her clothes laying on the floor. Towards the end of the game, it’s heavily suggested that Alone is just a figment of Lo’s imagination. But what if the power that Lo possesses is starting to grow even stronger? Aside from being able to travel through the mirrors, it seems that he can also make his imagination a reality. Well, what if Lo’s sadness and feelings towards Alone are so strong that he can manifest her back to life even while being away from her? We’d see Alone reform while still inside the institute. The mirror would still be broken and she’d need to find another way out of here. And although Lo and Alone escaped from the nurses and defeated the hypnotist, there is still a dangerous foe that is after her. This is a foe that she’s encountered before on her journey. And this vengeful character won’t let her get away this time. So, let’s see what happened to this mysterious character. Now, we find ourselves back at the carnival right after Lo and Alone escaped in the hot air balloon. They managed to severely burn Minikin and get away safely. But we never saw what happened to Minikin and the Kin after those events. Well, what if Minikin was still on fire and was burning painfully back down on the ground? He immediately panics and does the only thing he knows to do. The burning minikin returns back to his master and also sets him ablaze. The burning fire spreads all throughout the kin’s body. And this twisted ring leader of the carnival suffers the same fate as his evil little twin. Now the kin’s body is severely burnt and damaged. The loose skin from his arms and face have burnt away, revealing the painfully charred flesh underneath. The kin is furious at Loan alone and won’t let them get away with this. So, he hops on another air balloon and makes his way towards the institute. And soon, he’ll find exactly who he’s been looking for. But speaking of, we now return back to alone. She’s still trapped within the asylum and is searching high and low for a way out of here. But there’s something that’s getting in the way of her escape. The way out of here is covered in the maneing plants that grow within the building. There many vines have tangled up the exit and Alone has to find a way to get rid of them. So Alone searches around the area for anything she can find. There’s multiple rooms where she can search around for any useful items. But the one room that contains what she needs is filled with nurses. All these blind and creepy characters just stand there idly in the room. And it’s up to Alone to carefully sneak past them and get to the office. She carefully moves in between each enemy and tries her best not to alert the nurses. Eventually, she makes it into the other room and barricades the door shut. Alone searches for all the cupboards and cabinets, and she finally finds something useful. It’s a lighter. With this, she can burn away all the vines that are covering the exit. But before Alone can jump off the desk, a shadowy character bursts into the room. She quickly hides and waits to see who it is. As they get closer, it’s revealed to be the kin. He’s returned once again and is searching for Alone. But what has happened to his body? He’s now a terrifying and hideous sight to behold. Alone makes sure to stay out of sight. After what her and Lo did to him and Minikin, he’ll surely murder her on site. So Alone has to wait for the perfect time to make a run for it. When the kin has his back turned, that’s when she’ll make a break for it. When the time is right, Alone makes her move. She runs through a hatch in the wall and crawls through the vents. But the sound of the hatch door slamming shut alerts the kin. He sends Minikin into the vents to chase after Alone. She needs to navigate through all the air vents to reach the other side. The disgustingly burnt and charred Minikin furiously crawls after Alone. He’s determined to capture her after everything these kids have done. Finally, Alone exits the air vent and arrives back at the exit. The Kin and Minikin have also made their way back to the exit and ambushed her. Alone approaches the vines as she sparks the lighter. The hot burning glow of the flame makes the vines ignore her altogether. Instead, they reach out for the only other person in the room with them. The vines quickly wrap themselves around the kin’s body in a desperate attempt to consume him. They constrict all around his charred and burnt body, squeezing tighter and tighter. The jagged thorns on the vines also pierce and creep their way into his body. And before he knew it, he was completely tangled in this deadly plant. Luckily for Alone, she is still safe. As long as she has the lighter lit, the vines won’t hurt her. So, she walks through the exit as these twisted plants bend out of her way. She now finds herself in a room with another mirror inside. Without Lo, she can’t travel through it, but she can still see the silhouette of him in the mirror. It’s almost like he’s trying to find her, but something or someone is stopping him from getting through the mirror. As she goes to touch the mirror, the kin bursts through the wall behind her. He’s still alive and has become one with this twisted plant. With nowhere to go, Alone has no choice but to accept defeat. But out of nowhere, a strange object is thrown towards the plantkin. It explodes with a burst of thick smoke. The smoke chokes out the plantkin and causes it to retreat in pain. By some miracle, Alone has been saved. But who was it that saved her? It can’t be Lo, so it must be somebody else. But as to who it is is a total mystery, and for now, we don’t know where Lo is or if he’s safe. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see if all these answers are revealed next time. So, I think this would be a pretty interesting idea for the DLC of Little Nightmares 3. It could reveal a little bit more of what happens in the ending of the game. It would also be interesting to see the kin return in an even more messed up and grotesque way. I think it would be really cool to see what happens to the kin and also get his tragic ending as well. Since we saw how the supervisor met her end, it would only be fitting to see the same thing for the kin. I also think this opens up a lot more mystery as to who saved alone and also what is happening with Lo. But we won’t know what truly happens until we get the official DLC for Little Nightmares 3.
