Battlefield 6 – Massive Hotfix Just Dropped! New DLC Datamine Leak!

So today, DICE just released a new hot fix in Battlefield 6 to fix hit registration detection with the weapons in the game. And I’ve got all of the details on this for you, as well as responses from the dev team, too. Plus, find out what changes were rolled out today to all Conquest matches and how this will affect your games. And it looks like someone has officially data mined files related to possible naval warfare coming to Battlefield 6 in the near future. And I’ll also talk about those annoying mines and how one particular thread on Reddit is absolutely exploding with a debate about these mines. Are minds way too powerful? We’ll dive into this discussion as well. So, tons of news to go over and make sure to stick around to the end of the video for your top comments. So, let’s jump into the news and see what’s been going on around the Battlefield community. All right, first the big news. This was posted by the official Battlefield Comm’s Twitter. They said, “We’re aware of reports of rare cases where bullets may not register damage correctly when hitting enemies. Following our investigation, we found this was related to certain weapon attachment combinations. A hot fix has been deployed to address known instances. We’ll continue to monitor performance. And then Florine, a dev on the game, added a little bit more context to this and said, “We are rolling out a fix to address the issue. Seen where bullets hit an enemy and where blood splatters are visible but don’t cause damage.” The issue happened intermittently with certain weapons and attachment combinations and should now be resolved. So, this is very, very good news indeed. And hopefully all of those hit detection issues we’ve all been dealing with are now resolved and behind us. But, as you all know, this might not be the case. So, we’ll have to continue testing it and seeing how this goes. And I’ll be paying attention to Twitter and Reddit to see what everyone’s saying and then also testing out my weapons and attachments to see if there’s any hit detection issues after this hot fix was applied. And guys, check this out. There were some changes made to the conquest mode. This was posted by Battlefield France who said, “Conquest update to the number of tickets. We have reduced the starting number of tickets on all conquest maps so that matches end at a more natural pace. Previously, it happened that several matches ended by reaching the time limit and not when the tickets of one of the two teams were completely exhausted. We will continue to follow your feedback and the data we receive to ensure that the progression of each match is satisfactory. And then they posted the changes here to the number of tickets per map. So, do you think that’s a good change or not? Let me know in the comments. Honestly, I really haven’t had the matches end according to the timer. So, I haven’t really experienced this problem that they are talking about. But yeah, let me know what you guys think about this. And this next bit of news is actually quite exciting. We keep on hearing teases about this naval warfare possibly coming to Battlefield 6. Well, the evidence for this keeps on getting stronger. This was posted by Tom Henderson who said, “Battlefield 6 naval warfare content is already in development. Data mines reveal.” And then the article goes on to say, “According to some strings of code obtained by Insider Gaming, it appears that several different vehicles are currently in development for Battlefield 6, including jet skis and RHIBs, rigid hauled inflatable boats, or ribs as some people pronounce it.” So, it goes on to say, “Both strings of code were attached to the multiplayer files, suggesting that work on naval combat is already well underway in some capacity, and the lines read as follows.” So, there’s the lines of code right there. And as most of us know, this was also posted by the official blog post of the Battlefield team who said, “Sparately, requests for naval warfare have not gone unnoticed.” So they themselves have already talked about naval warfare. So again, the evidence is mounting for a naval warfare DLC in the near future for Battlefield 6. And like many of you guys, I am super excited for the possibility of naval combat. I know I’ve mentioned it before in previous videos, but I absolutely loved Parasel Storm with the naval combat, with the weather system, and all of that stuff. So, I really hope that this comes to pass. So, sound off in the comments down below, guys, if you want to see naval warfare and let me know what was your favorite naval warfare experience in past Battlefield games. And now, let’s talk about a hot topic that is absolutely exploding in the Battlefield 6 community. This was posted by Far Detective 3457. You may have seen this meme floating around where it says Battlefield 6 beta versus Battlefield 6 release. And the Battlefield 6 beta, of course, was known for its sniper Glints. And then the Battlefield 6 release, well, it’s becoming known for the use of landmines and how OP they are, according to a lot of people, including myself. So, here’s my take on the landmines. I do feel like they’re way too OP. Now, some people make the argument of, well, it’s the beginning of the game. A lot of people are using it because it’s the default equipment that they are given. So, naturally, people are going to use it. But regardless of this fact, I still find that they do way too much damage, that they blended to the ground way too easily. People place them, you know, in grassy sections where you simply cannot see them. And personally, I would love to see a conquest playlist where there are no mines and no C4 because I find them extremely annoying. And that’s just my take on it. But let me know what you guys think about the landmines. I think there’s already so many ways to take down tanks with the RPG. You have helicopters from above. Let’s not forget about C4 as well. So, I personally think there’s so many different ways to already take out tanks. And the landmines are just an annoyance for us players who love our tanks. They stop you dead in your tracks. They do too much damage. and before you know it, you can’t even repair yourself and you’re hit by one RPG that finishes the job. So again, I think landmines need to be significantly reduced in damage and then they also need to be a lot more visible as well. And I can already hear the people out there that hate tanks disagreeing with me, but if you do, that’s okay. Leave a comment down below. Let me know how you guys feel about mines. And now on to the next topic, assists counting as kills. So, this was posted by Junda on Twitter who said, “Can we bring back assists counts as kills, please?” It was in the beta. Don’t see why it was removed. And then they said, “For clarification, assists as kill is not assist counts as kill.” And I would love to see this. I think many people uh mentioned that this might be a bug that it’s not appearing quite correctly. And on another note, considering the scoreboard, I would love to see kills and assists tallied under one column called eliminations next to kills because as a player, I always feel a bit better when I see my kills and assist tallied as eliminations on the scoreboard. And I think it should be to the left of the kill count. So, what do you guys think about that? Would you like to see kills and assist tally together on the scoreboard as elimination? And by the way, if you’re having your attachments reset randomly when you spawn in, Raptor posted this on Twitter and said, in case this wasn’t already known, attachments reset randomly appears to be connected to selecting no muzzle. And they posted their setup here and said their gun was set up with no muzzle. And then after joining a match, their gun then had a muzzle flashhider on it and the accessory was removed. So, if you’re having this problem, it looks like it’s related to the possibility of you having no muzzle equipped. So, maybe equip a muzzle to get that problem fixed. And hopefully DICE sees this and they’re able to fix the issue. Now, it’s time for your top comment soldiers. Starting off with War Vet Gaming who says, “My biggest problem in the game right now is how fast it autoloads into the next match before it even has time to go through the aftermatch progression and stats. So, this is a good point and it’s pretty funny that we’re complaining how fast the game loads. I mean, you’d think that that would be a good thing, but I would have to agree with this that it does perhaps load a little bit too fast. And it would be nice to be able to have a little bit more time, maybe 20 to 30 additional seconds to be able to choose my load out and make any changes to my gun that I want to make changes to. So, this is a good point right here, and I do understand why DICE did this. They want people to go into the match as quickly as possible to prevent them from quitting out because if the next match loads, the person is more likely to gravitate towards staying in that match. So, I get why they do it, but still, it would be nice to have about 20 to 30 additional seconds to set up the load out and get prepared for the next round. Now, this next comment comes from DJ Naughty Base, who says, “Can we please, please, please get night mode soon? One thing I think makes Battlefield amazing was the night modes. I would love to see that return and totally agree. A night mode playlist would be awesome too if they decide to go down this route. So, this would be awesome to see as well. And then Porter Garner 5426 posted this. I actually wouldn’t mind if they left the 100% accuracy of sniping kept behind recon. And yes, I would also have to agree with this as well. I’ve been saying from the beginning, I feel like the sniper is the one weapon that needs to be kept locked behind a class like the recon class. And while they’re not locking it entirely behind the recon class, they’re giving players all of the incentives to make sure they stay with the recon class when choosing a sniper. Because as you know, recon is the only class where you can hold your breath to increase accuracy with that sniper rifle. Uh you also have that spotting mechanic where if you look down your scope, it will automatically spot with the recon class. And then as we have recently learned, if you choose the sniper with any other class besides recon, you’re not going to be as accurate with that weapon. So they’re giving all of the reasons why you should be sticking with recon if you’re going with a sniper rifle. And personally, I really like this and I think they should keep it that way. And sadly, we have come to the end of the video. I really enjoy talking with you guys about Battlefield and cannot wait to talk about more in the next upcoming video. So, leave a comment down below if you’re enjoying the videos and hit that like button if you did as well. And then if you are new here, hit that subscribe button.
