How will JWE2 DLC Species Return – Jurassic World Evolution 3

Earlier this morning, it was recently confirmed that species from the base game of Evolution 2 would be returning for free in Jurassic World Evolution 3 via free updates. These would include Kryilophosaurus and Amarosaurus. However, Frontier specifically stated that these were the base game species only. Um, they haven’t provided any confirmation otherwise about the DLC species. And so that means any animals of that were an optional purchase in any of the evolution DLC’s, Evolution 2 DLC’s are likely being repackaged in DLC’s down the line. Now, there are a few ways that they can do this. One of which being the less desirable option of of a returning species taking precedence of a slot in a DLC that could have been used to add a completely new animal. The second option is the one I prefer the most, and that is the returning DL species are simply additional slots of one or two, perhaps even three animals alongside a selection of four or five new species, depending on the DLC format Frontier chooses to go for this time. But this would then mean that the returning DLC species don’t take a slot from any new species and would instead be a sort of bonus. I believe it is important that any number of previous DLC species should be a smaller number than that of the new species. That way there is more fresh content than old. But now let’s see what kind of DLCs the remaining DLC species could be included into. But I and I also just before we begin, I do think though that the remaining deluxe edition species of Megalosaurus and Hayangosaurus should be base game as personally I don’t really want to pay for Hangosaurus for a third time. Our first DLC being the Chaos Theory Species Pack. So, there is only one truly new species being the Beckle Spinax. So, otherwise, this pack would be full of returning species. However, there are some ways that could make these species be a little bit better in a sense. So, animals like Majungasaurus and Pachyosaurus would of course be coming with cannon variants. So, these of course would be complete with some unique animations. uh possibly uh well of course ba baby and male uh variations as well uh models and of course some unique skins to these animals too. But other species like Monolasaurus, Tarbosaurus and Nothosaurus, those would be staying the same. Though I feel like Tarbosaurus is worthwhile actually doing a sort of Donicus treatment and giving it an alternative variant despite it being a cannon species. I think it would be worthwhile just giving us a Tarbosaurus that looks like an accurate looks well resembles an accurate Tarbosaurus. Not completely accurate, but accurate enough that it still it’s still recognizable as a Tarbosaurus and would actually act as an Acura Tyrannosaur for once. But yeah, that’s sort of what I’m imagining. And uh yeah, so Monophosaurus would would stay the same because well, there aren’t any other Monophosauruses that we know of. And I quite like the design. And Noasaurus, of course, would also stay the same. The idea of my semi-aquatic species pack that I um had was a pack that initially contains sarasucus, irritator, titanoboa, and capraasucus. Now slightly changed to sarasucus, irritator, titanoboa, and hesperonus to get a bit more diversity there. But then alongside these new species, we could see the returns of animals like dinoyus, archalon, and it’s a possible other spot for noasaurus as well. Asian species pack, we had Shantangosaurus, Yanguinosaurus, Darwinopterus, and Takia. And species I feel like could fit in this one would be stuff like Whereasaurus, Gigantoaptor, and Sinosauroptric. It’d be great if we could get all of them as well. At least the Giganoraptor and Sinosauroptics are great. and Whereasaurus is personally one of my favorite Stegosaurs in the game just from design alone and a few of the unique animations. The flying species pack would be the perfect spot for the DLC terasaurs to return. And this is a pack that I didn’t have in my previous video. Um, and so I just put together a few species from the meta wish list for Evolution 3 that um is present on the Evolution 3 Discord. Um, so I’ve put together hats, uh, ramparinkus, microaptor, and theosodromeus as I think that would be a pretty solid pack. Pterodostra I put in South American species pack, but it of course could fit in here possibly in the place of the philosophius. And the DLC flying species would be that of Saripurus, Jalopterus, and Barbradactylus, the latter of which could certainly receive the Dionicus treatment as yeah, it really does not resemble a nichtoid at all. It even has extra fingers and also doesn’t have the antler-like crest that Nichtosaurs are known for. The North American species pack initially contains the Dinosucus, the Lambiosaurus, Tobasaurus, and Zapactinus. And as we have plenty of North American species, this was this would be the perfect place for the DLC um North American species of Alamosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Stixasaurus to return as well. The Triacic pack, well, there’s there’s much fewer returning species for this one. New species would be stuff like Platiosaurus. I’ve replaced Folasucus with a much more popular postucus. We also have Lisawishia and Tanistropheus and Shyosaurus would probably fit well here. And then lastly, the Oceanania species pack, which would possibly come after a Cenzoic pack just because I did include some mammals here. Um, where we have animals like Megalania, Leelnosaura, uh, Thyloia and Deprodon. And the last remain remaining uh DLC species are that of oustralvenator and Minmai. And personally as an Australian myself, that’s sort of the dream DLC to represent the region. But that is all the the remaining DLC species. I really do hope that possibly the community can sway Frontier to release these DLC species for free, but of course it is a business after all. Um, free labor only can only last so long. Um, these animators and modelers, they need to be paid. And of course, the DLC species, they were optional to begin with. Like DLC’s, you’re not forced to buy them. You are show you you can have a look at the DLC and make the choice on your own. Like for those who bought the DLC’s, you you would be paying these for these animals a second time, but for those who didn’t, these would basically be new species. But um I do think that this is the best scenario so that we get a full slate of new species and then returning species on top because then you you get um a lot more value out of the DLC, I feel. And um yeah, like I know it’s not the most ideal situation to pay for them again, but if you look at the bright side, um it’s not like they’re being they’re not being sold in their Jurassic World Evolution 2 forms necessarily. It’s not just the female model. like you are getting juveniles and males, both of which come with some new animations, new patterning, um, and in some cases new modeling. Um, and so I think each animal despite being a returning species certainly has the possibility to make its slot worth while as you do have these all these extra things and animals like Dino Kyrus, you’d get the bonus of it also being a semi-aquotic animal. Um, and I think that’s that’s really what needs to be done to make these returning species worthwhile to pay for in the DLC’s is give them give them aspects of their overall place in the game. Something unique about it. So, give these animals more unique animations in certain cases. Um, make them much make them stand out a lot more. Particularly the males. Like the males should really stand out a lot. And in the case of a few of the species like that of Megalosaurus, possibly the Oralovvenator, Taravosaurus, give them and Barbadactus of course give them alternate variants that are say a little bit more accurate possibly um just to like add a little bit of extra um content there for each of those species. and give the dino carus a proper bill rather than a um a fleshed over um beak because it does look a little strange. But let me know your thoughts on all of this in the comments down below. Um on the bright side, we are getting a lot of the base game species. We we are getting the base game species for free. So you don’t have to pay for the likes of Penttoeratops um or Polocanthus again. So that I think that’s some that that’s something we should celebrate. Like we are getting a lot of species for free. That’s 19 I believe 19 animals for free over the course of the next few updates with Kentraaurus being confirmed to be the first. Um and uh yeah, then just 20 DLC species to sprinkle into various DLCs. And it’s not like they’d be in every DLC. Some DLCs wouldn’t really warrant it, like Rebirth, a Cenazoic DLC. South America, well, there are no um DLC animals from South America that can actually be be part of it. So, some of the DLC’s could potentially have room for even more new species. Like, it’s good to look at a few things like that. And um yeah, anyway, this is probably my last video before Jurassic World Evolution 3 releases. Oh, it’s like Christmas counting down the days. But yeah, I will see you all in the next one. And hope and I and I hope that is when Jurassic World Evolution 3 releases. Otherwise, there would there’s going to be something new some news that comes out prior that I could cover. Um, but yeah, let’s look forward to Jurassic Evolution 3 and where these DLC species will return.

With the recent confirmation that all base game species from Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be returning for free in post-launch updates, how will the DLC species from Evolution 2 return? Let’s find out.
