Borderlands 4 DLC | Bring back missing DLC Lux’s Space Adventure
Welcome back everyone. Dur here and slight spoilers ahead because I am in part of the story mission and it just kind of made me want to talk about something. So, I thought I would. So, uh slight warnings. Uh this is within a story mission, but I’ll try to be quick and cool about it so nothing major is spoiled. Um, here in Borderlands 4, we do go to Elpus for a little bit at the end, and that’s where I’m at now. And it made me really want to get an Elpus themed DLC and bring back some of that pre-sequel nostalgia. But more importantly, um it’s pretty well known that there was a scrapped DLC, uh Ly’s um Lucky something. I forget what it’s called. Um uh but it kind of looked like Futurama-esque in the thumbnail that got leaked eventually for it. And um it was the yeah, second story DLC for the pre-sequel that got scrapped. And it’d be really cool if they could bring back that DLC and reuse assets or parts of it um and give us an Elpus themed DLC because it was so cool going here in the game, but it felt a little short changed because even though we got the low gravity and this really sweet looking atmosphere, we didn’t get a lot that brought back to the DLC. And you know, it’d be nice to see like, well, for me, but a lot of people not, you know, like Grown-Up Pickle, um, Nurse Nina, some some of the casting crew, um, if Janie is still on, uh, Elus when it, uh, moved. It would be nice to see some of these uh, pre-sequel people and, uh, more of the Elus wildlife. We really only saw um uh threshers in this, but we didn’t get like the Kraans or any other of the wildlife. Um you know, there’s all those loaders in the pre-sequel. Be fun to fight loaders again. So like enemy wise, you know, there should be some scavs left. Um cuz you see like these enemies here, like they don’t even have air masks. Well, this guy has mask, so maybe he does. Um, but like most of the enemies are just the same enemies you fight on the ground and they’re somehow here in space and it doesn’t make much sense. Um, it doesn’t like kill my immersion or anything, but uh, yeah, it’ just be nice if we could get more of the pre-sequel vibe. Um, see more of that stuff, you know? Maybe we even get like moonstones and some some of that stuff just give us like cheap nostalgia and bring us back to more of it. And maybe like even though the moon’s all broken up, we get to like go back to some of the areas where we spent time um on Elpus and they’re just kind of like shattered and broken. But I mean, there are some buildings and stuff here, but they’re not really recognizable. And although God, I I love this look. Um but yeah, I just want to spend more time out here and I think there’s more story to tell out here and I think this would be a fun DLC to go back to. Um, I know they probably already have their plans for the DLC’s, but if not, you know, give us a head hunter here or, you know, like something. I think it just be awesome to spend more time out in the moon. Um, and especially like give us some of that Lucky stuff we never got. Um, I think that would just be huge for the fan base. I know like the pre-sequel when it came out wasn’t the most popular and there’s like a lot of hate towards it, but I think like a lot of people have like realized now how amazing the pre-sequel is. It just got a little short changed. And man, to see some of that stuff come back and get more uh pre-sequel love, would just make me so happy. I would be over the moon for it, one might say. Sorry, I had to. Um I did not plan that out ahead of time. Um, yeah. So, let me know what you guys think. Do you guys want more uh pre-sequel callbacks or uh an Elpus DLC? Uh would you like to see some of that Lucky stuff that we never never came uh to fruition? Uh kind of be reused in a way that would make sense for where we are in the story now. Um if you say no, you’re wrong. Uh cuz uh I’m right here. We desperately need that and it will be the greatest thing ever. Uh anyways, let me know your thoughts in the comments and I will talk to you all later.
Borderlands the Pre Sequel had its final DLC canceled and with how good the first DLC for it was fans were really disappointed, with Elpis being back in Borderlands 4 there is a chance to see this lost DLC come back, or at least parts of it.
