Takashi Iizuka Discusses Year 2 & Year 3 DLC For Sonic Racing Crossworlds
All right, everybody. Welcome back to Around the Clock Sega News. And recently, Tekashi Isizuka, head of the Sonic team, has discussed the possibility of releasing year 2 and Year 3 DLC for Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Now, this info can be found on polygon.com in a brand new interview with the website. And here’s the exact quote from Mr. himself. If enough people are coming in and playing it, there’s conversations about the game. We have one year of DLC. We could do year two. We could do year three of DLC. Isizuka says, “Tell us what you want.” Sonic Racing Crossroads being an online game gives room for the team to expand it content in the future. These are the things we can do because it is an online game. We could add new gadgets. We could balance the game differently. So, they all have it straight from Mr. himself. Now, just as a heads up, here’s a road map for all the DLC that we know of so far coming to Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Right now, the Minecraft DLC along with Hassune Miku and Joker from Persona is now available. But we also have Ichibon along with all the other Sega characters that will be released throughout the end of this year and next year as well. And we also have the Spongebob Squarepants DLC, the Pac-Man DLC pack, the Mega Man DLC pack, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DLC pack, and the Avatar Air Bender DLC pack as well. Now, with that being said, with Tekashi Isizuka saying that we can expand from year 2 and year three if the fans want it, and I’m pretty sure the fans want it. I know I do. I think that the rest of the DLC characters will be Sega based characters and they will be free. Now, there’s also the possibility that there will be some paid DLC thrown in there as well. But I think for the most part the if they’re going to do year 2 and year 3 DLC, they’re just going to give us a bunch of Sega based characters that a lot of fans want to see in the game anyway. And it would make sense, man. Give us some good fan service. Now, if Sega does pull this off, this will go down as the ultimate crossover cart racing game. Mark my words. But hey, we’ll see what the future holds. So, hey guys, if you want to see this happen, if you want to see Sonic Racing Crossworlds get year 2 DLC and year 3 DLC, like Mr. said in his statement, tell us what you want.
