Xenoverse 2 ALL New DLC 20 Super Souls & One Might Be Broken
My boys, my boys, the new free update is here. And of course with that free update, the homie Retail comes through with the data mine looking through the files trying to find things that were added in the update, changed in the update, all things along those lines. So shout out to the homie Reach out. His Twitter will be linked down below in the description. But as you guys see, we have the paid DLC Super Souls from Future Saga Chapter 3 that we’re about to take a look at. And these are the free super souls they plan to release with the fifth festival of universes event that were also added in this update right here. Now when we will get these in terms of the festival of universes ones, I don’t know exactly. I don’t know how long that’s going to take all thing along those lines, but it does seem like these were the only super souls added at this moment in time, which is just a little bit odd considering the fact that, you know, we usually always get just like regular free update super souls that’ll drop in raids, things along those lines, right? But let’s jump into the ones that we do have available to us at this moment. So, in terms of the paid ones, we have this super soul from Broly. Ah, the man’s just screaming, but it says, “Broy, DB super super soul once only when using an evasive skill when health is 25% or less. Restores your health by a medium amount. That obviously can vary how much health that is depending on how much health your character has. The more health your character has, the more health they’ll actually restore based off this, if I remember correctly. Now, your stamina restoration, you get an excel restoration to your stamina, but also when you use an awoken skill at any point in time, you get a medium restoration to your health. So, essentially, you get two medium restorations to your health right here with this super soul. And then you can also get a large restoration to your key when you use a super uh an awoken skill with this super soul right here, which can be useful for certain super souls like maybe a beast or something like that that takes away your key when you actually do transform. So that this can be an okay super soul for sure right here without a doubt. And then using your evasive essentially you’re getting your stamina and some back when you do use your evasives especially if you’re using a two bar evasive um when your health is below 25% or less. And then you also get that restoration to your health. So you can get a good amount of health out of this super soul. Like overall this is not a bad super soul actually by any means. The more that I think about it can be very useful without a doubt. Now moving into the next one. Rejoice. A new ruler is born. This is Golden Frieza Super Soul. When the battle begins, you essentially get a res a medium restoration to your key. When a super attack uh hits or is blocked, temporarily boosts the strength of all attacks by a medium amount. And then temporarily activates key auto recovery mode. Now, the first thing people are going to see with key out of recovery mode, they’ll be like, is it good for Super Saiyan Blue Evolution? Da da da things like that. And it could be. It it really depends on how long the key auto recovery mode lasts, but at the same time having to rely on landing an actual, you know, super attack. Um or I mean it says when it’s blocked as well, so you can kind of use it a little bit more recklessly just to get it off. But usually if you do get your super attacks blocked, you’re going to get punished and you’re going to have to waste stamina. Or if you don’t have any stamina, well, at that point, that’s your ass. So this one is more of a mess super soul completely in my opinion. Now, the Chili Super Soul is, you know, I mean, it’s pretty useless. Uh, unless you’re playing like a team-based thing, and I hate team- based Super Souls because let’s be honest, who the hell really plays a lot of like 3v3s and 2v2s in Xenoverse 2 at this point in time in the game’s lifespan. And if you are, you usually you’re not using super souls that are like team oriented. Every now and then you might do that, but for the most part, you’re not. And you’re not going to use one like this either. So essentially what this super soul does is once only when an opponent using an ultimate attack restores stamina to all allies other than yourself by an XL amount. Once only when using an evasive skill temporarily nullifies damage from all attacks. So I mean the the the solo use the only thing you get is that temporary nullification from all attacks from when you use an evasive. It just really depends on how long that lasts. Like say that lasted for like 30 seconds. Well, then at that point in time, this super soul can be pretty goddamn crazy because 30 seconds of not taking damage from anything. Well, well, that’s just a bit insane. But I highly doubt it lasts that long. It just really depends on how good this super soul is or not based off of how long that lasts. And it and it kind of is a a condition and and like a uh you know um something in a super soul that can either just be very broken or most likely very trash because something like this if it is too long it’ll be absolutely insane and if it’s too short it’ll just be absolutely pointless. So those are the paid update super souls in DLC 20. Now let’s take a look at the ones that they plan to release with the Festival of Universe event. Now, this one right here, this one, this one, this one, this one’s a little bit a little bit out there if you ask me. Now, it also has a bit of a double-edged sword to it at the same time as you guys will see, but this is a pretty crazy super soul without a doubt. Now, this is a Vegeta super soul. So essentially what it says when succeeding at a just guard restores your stamina by a large large you heard large amount my boys and it can be used three times in a battle. That part alone is um kind of insane considering you know you’re getting that much stamina back just for perfect blocking your opponent three three times. you know, you you have that going on. But then then we get into the other part. Boost the strength of all attacks by a medium amount, but it also boosts the strength of all attacks of your opponent by a small amount. And this can be stacked up to three times. So, this is why I say it is a bit of a double-edged sword because you don’t know what kind of super soul your opponent has on, you know, and obviously when you use this, yes, you are getting your stamina back by a damn good amount when you use your first three uh perfect blocks. And it also kind of gives you, I guess, a little bit of strategy when it comes to your perfect blocking. Like, you don’t want to actually get a perfect block off if you have full stamina because then what the hell’s the point of that? You didn’t get any stamina back. So you there there is that to it. Like it can be kind of useless on the stamina side if you actually don’t gain any stamina back cuz you know a lot of people will just be perfect blocking right off the beginning of the match. Maybe you don’t get any of the usage out of it in that regards but that’s highly unlikely. But the other side again you may be getting a 30% increase to all your attacks when you increase uh talk about three stacks of a medium attack increase to everything. But you’re also giving your opponent a 15% increase to all their attacks. So depending on your opponent’s super soul, your opponent could be, you know, rocking something like 45 to 50% increase in all of his attacks, depending on what kind of super soul the man is running, or you can be giving him this 15% increase on top of some other different buffs that are just very good. And when you combine them all, make an absolutely crazy super soul. So like, in a sense, you’re adding to your opponent’s super soul when you do get off a perfect block each and every single time for those three stacks. But, you know, you’re also getting a a bigger boost to yourself. And then, you know, that stamina increase, that stamina restoration, not increase, the stamina restoration of a large amount is definitely clutch at the same time. And crazy as well, you know, even though it is only three times, that is something that can change the tide of a battle in Xenoverse 2 without a doubt. So, let’s move on to the other one, though. And this is a Paragus Super Soul. Once only one ally gets KO’ed. Again, one one of those stupid team-based super souls, which I just I get get rid of them at this point in time cuz a lot of them be trash anyway. Like, let’s be honest. But again, once only when an ally gets KO’ed, it restores your health by an large amount. When an ally gets KO, temporary activates health out of recovery mode. Yay. Like, yay. Okay. I I get health out of recovery mode and a restoration to my health by a large amount cuz my homie died. Great. Like absolutely amazing. No, that’s trash. Who the hell is ever going to use this super soul? Like they just they just throw into this game. I swear at this point in time when it comes to some of these super souls just to fill up the space. Like just to fill up the space cuz how else do you explain some like this right here? Like make it make sense, my boys. Cuz I personally cannot. But that being said, these are the super souls that have been added in DLC 20. Again, you know, kind of odd that we we don’t have regular free update super souls outside of the festival of universes and things like that, you know. Um little bit little bit different without a doubt. You know, I’m always used to getting super souls from raids and and we haven’t even heard about new raids or or have we? Maybe I wasn’t paying attention too much about that. you know, when it comes to the actual trailer yesterday, I was so excited and so in in tune with the damn what’s it called? The damn story mode. Because that’s personally what I’m most excited for with this DLC right here is to see where the story is going more than anything else. I saw a lot of people talking about how the characters, they weren’t that excited cuz they’re just reskins again. They’re new, they’re characters we already had in the game, which I understand completely, but at the same time, mainly your boy is excited for that story. But I’m getting on a tangent. Let me know what you guys think about these super souls down below in the comments. And again, shout out to the homie Reach Out. His Twitter will be linked down below in the description. Till next time though, my boys, thank you guys for watching. Hope you enjoyed. And as always, hope you have a good one. Be shelf.
