NEW SESSION UPDATE – Lots of Fixes and a NEW DLC MAP

Can I even still play this game? Seems like it. It’s a little harder than skate though. What is up, guys? And welcome to a new session video. I haven’t made one of these in a while, but today we’re checking out the new update that comes with some DLC. What is in this new update? Goofy stands. All animations are now at parody with regular stance and switches switch no matter the stance. Power slides. We’ve made power slides more dynamic, making better for managing speed while keeping you aligned with your initial direction upon completion. Reverbs no longer throw you off course. They now maintain your line while changing your stance. You can now land in manuals from any drop or pop trick, and manuals are now added to the trick display. Board breaking. When breaking a board, you no longer get a blank orange board, but instead a board, grip, and rail combo from your inventory. We’re also excited to announce that you can now find Jacuzzi in all in-game skate shops. Welcome back, Louis. Oh, he might have like been removed when uh Enjoy went out or something. Finally, debug. We fixed over 30 specific bugs detailed in our full patch notes available through our social channels. What do you get in the DLC? You get one new map, LA Park, two exclusive outfits to keep you looking fresh, six object dropper obstacles available now on all platforms. Let’s just see here. If we go to select map, yes, I got it at the bottom. We got the LA map, LA Park. Big thanks to the session team for providing me with a review copy. I really appreciate it. Let’s just check it out. I’ve been waiting for this for so long. I also feel like we should change the time of day. Do just a little bit earlier. Didn’t change much, but uh it’s nice. And I know they call this the LA Park, but it is basically like Venice Beach, right? Yeah. See that right there? That’s all I wanted for this update. All I wanted for this update was this. That’s pretty much it. I know there’s like more to the spot, but it kind of looks cool that they dug it out the sand. And then over here, you would be expecting like Venice skate park, but uh I actually kind of like that they did something different because I don’t really feel like that park skates too well. So, this is just awesome to see just walking around at a new skate park. And we also got the famous tables here. They thought of everything. I kind of mostly want to like check the outsides out. And then we obviously got to try to get some speed and test out, you know, the power slides. Oh, that is so nice. And we got a nice triple set here. That is so cool. Let’s try to do like back and forth. How do you do that? Ah, there we go. Awesome. So you can really like cruise down with stuff now. And I love the way they kind of fenced it off. That’s pretty awesome. This is definitely the Santa Monica triple set right here. And we got to get some tricks on that. Nice front side flip. We get a little backside flip as well. Maybe a back heel. I don’t do the uh 180 heels too often. Little front heel as well. Let’s get a nollie heel. How about a nollie back heel? Shout out to Kevin Roar. I think Cody Mack did nollie big heel like he’s turned down everything else. I believe Josh Casper did a hard flip. Maybe that that one is cool too, man. No front side flip. Oh, the nollie inwards still need a little bit of work in my opinion. I think that’s been some fixing to the late shits as well. Let’s try that. That was a late back foot heel. Okay, that was nice. Let’s try to ste out an inward heal. H what if I did it like this? Hey, that was not bad. Huge double flip trade double. I actually think that hasn’t been done, but it has been done in Switch. I know by Mr. Shane O’Neal. That was my first attempt. Wow. There we go. Shout out to Shane O’Neal. Those are terrible benches. Something I don’t do a lot, you may have noticed, is the reverts. I I didn’t mean to slide this one, but I think we should test that one out. So, that’s the revert and that’s a revert. They’ve been fixed as well, so it would stop like over rotating. I can see that. But what I’m more curious about is actually like the manuals. Oh, then you got to shift. I haven’t really done that. I don’t do a lot of reverts in this game. So, if we’re in a manual and I revert, I got to tilt up there. Oh, that is nice. You got to move your stick. So, if I turn again, I got to get back down. Nice. I got to do that more. Oh, that was nice. That was sweet as well. And then I kind of wanted to do something here, but we only have these bad benches. So, you know what? I think we’ll go to a skate shop. Oh, yeah. We still got my fingerboard park here. Let’s just ignore that and go to the skate shop. Got the curved curb. We’ll get a few. We got the round tables. Get a few. Saw this one at the park. This one too. Oh, okay. I think we got more because this was also at the LA spot. Okay, I think that was it for the objects. Let’s go over the skater apparel. Got a t-shirt in two variants. Same thing for this one. Let’s go with this one. The colorful one. We’ll uh we’ll buy and equip. Do we change our board to a jacuzzi board? Okay. That’s interesting. What size are these though? Here we can see the size on every one of the boards. Can’t see the size here. All right, let’s just get it. Yeah, we also got socks in this update, but I don’t really skate in shorts, so I I think that’s fine. You know, there’s so many new things that you guys could probably go ahead and check out. The session team made a great video themselves. All right, let’s see if we can get a hard flip into something. Maybe a backtail. That’s like the classic thing, right? Should we do something different? Hard flip, nose grind. Oh, kind of got it. And then he didn’t want to do that. Hey, that was kind of sick. And we got a tail slide. I want to do a weird one. Yep. Ah, okay. Right. And just the five. Just keeping it simple. I like doing lines here. But something I really got to try though is, you know, getting on here, getting over the the bump and then down. What? Come on, man. We got something. Feel like it’s been a little too long since I’ve played this game. Yeah, that’s what I thought. That would probably be the easiest. I mean, it wasn’t really good. Perhaps we could try to clean it up a little bit. Get a kick flip out. Okay. What was that? That looked kind of weird, didn’t it? It is kind of funny. I’m just sticking to the triple set and like skating weird stuff when we got a new awesome skate park in here. But I actually think I’m going to check this out in the next video on the channel. As you know, it looks pretty sick. Looks like we got some uh Street League inspiration, but there’s just a lot of things. There’s a lot of spots here. And oddly enough, I kind of just want to skate the triple set. It’s just a really good triple set. Get a kick flip here. We’ll do a tre flip on flat. And then we got the Oh, I could have placed that better. I definitely could have placed that better, but it’s still awesome. Oh, that was a terrible landing. We’ll have to turn the board around and then, you know, I kind of wanted to just jump on here at the bottom. Oh, okay. Trey flip over would be nice. Yeah, I bonked it. Oh, that was a back smith. I meant to do a kick back lip. That was kind of a weird one, but you know what? I’m taking it if we can get the kick flip front side tail slide here. And we could really really smooth. I am so hyped on this new update. It’s definitely gotten me back into session. And I’ve been wanting that to happen for a while now. Oh my god. I I still got to practice a little bit though and then I’ll get back to you with a video on the skate park here. But this is a pretty awesome update to be honest. I I really enjoy it and I think the goofy skaters are definitely appreciating it as well. But I think that was it for this video. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Until the next one, have it good. Peace out. [Music]
