The Sonic 06 DLC Situation is Crazy
There is a question of why did Sonic06 get DLC? And Ben the Otter, who maintains the legacy of Solaris Spot and has done a lot of digging on Sonic06, did mention a lot of the DLC was planned prior to the game’s release. So, I guess even though the reception of 06 was so bad, they just decided, let’s go ahead and just ship the DLC anyway for five bucks or whatever each of the stories were. There were also wallpapers, too. I think I bought the Sonic one. So, in addition to something I talked about before where it’s incredibly easy with how they set up the stage creation in this game, that’s also probably a reason is just it was all pre-planned.
