WWE 2K25: New WM41 Update!, Latest DLC Previews, New Locker Code, WWE 2K26 News & More!
In this video, we have new DLC previews for the Saturday night’s main event pack in WWE 2K25, along with the reveal of some new Wrestlemania 41 content that’s coming to my faction. We got a brand new locker code that offers the chance to get some new Persona cards. Plus, we’ve also got a trailer for 2K25’s Netflix edition and details of how you can pre-register for the game. And then rounding things out, we also have an update on WWE 2K26 following comments from 2K President Carl Slatoff. Before we get into any of that though, if you’re new to the channel and you want to stay up to date with all the latest wrestling game news, then please do hit that subscribe button and turn on your notifications so that you don’t miss out on future videos. We start this update with the latest previews for the Saturday night’s main event pack as 2K have released two new entrance previews. The first being WWE legend Tito Santana posting on X. The WWE games account gave us our first look at Tito as he makes his entrance in the Saturday night’s main event arena that was patched in back in April. Tito’s entrance is one of the shortest entrances that we’ve ever seen as it lasts for just 26 seconds. It shows him running down ringside in a pair of white trunks with his signature t-shirt. The inclusion of Tito marks his first ever appearance in a WWE console game as he’s only previously appeared in WWE Supercard. Though he has appeared in other wrestling games as he appeared in all three of the Legends of Wrestling games between 2001 and 2004. Moving on to the second of the new DLC reveals, the WWE Games account has also revealed the entrance for the Junkyard Dog who was shown off entering in a Saturday night’s main event arena. The inclusion of the Junkyard Dog marks his first appearance in a WWE game since 2008’s Legends of Wrestlemania, where he also featured the same attire as he did earlier in Smackdown versus Raw 2006. Following the reveal, many players have questioned where his chains are, as Junkyard Dog was known for carrying chains to the ring as part of his dog collar. The chains, which were shown in the promotional image, are missing from his entrance, as they were in Legends of Wrestlemania, though he did feature them during his previous appearance in Smackdown versus Raw 2006. As for whether we’ll see the chains added, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility, as in the past, we have seen some changes made between the preview footage and the final version, so there’s still a chance he may get updated. Moving on to the last of the DLC previews, we have our first look at Sid Justice, which is the younger version of Sid that’s based on his initial run in the WWF. As a result, Sid comes with a brand new entrance motion and a younger model than the one that was featured in 2K19. as this version of Sid is based between 1991 and 1992. Though oddly, rather than include his WWF theme, he instead features the WWE Network version of his WCW theme, which WWE used to dub over the original is no longer own the copyright. For those that were wanting a later version of Sid based on his return to the WWF, the good news is that his old Psycho Sid entrance is still included in the creation suite where you can find it under the name the Millennium Man. So once the DLC is out, I’d imagine there’ll be a bunch of Psycho Sid and Sid Vicious creations that’ll use that hindrance. As for when you can play as Sid, the Saturday night’s main event pack is scheduled to release on Wednesday, November 12th, where it also includes Tio Santana, Jesse Ventura, Mr. Wonderful, Paulorf, and the Junkyard Dog. On the subject of showing off new superstars, the WWE games social accounts have revealed a new version of Penta that’s coming to my faction as posting on X. The WWE games account shared screenshots of Penta in his Wrestlemania 41 gear which is announced as part of an upcoming release in My Faction. This version of Pentair features the green, black, and gold outfit that he wore at Wrestlemania, and it also includes the jacket that he wore during his entrance. Details on how to unlock Penta have yet to be revealed officially. However, according to WWE Games mod, players will be able to unlock Penta as part of the new Octad of the Infinite event in My Faction. This event sees players compete in a series of eight different matches that revolve around this year’s DLC with stage one seeing players compete as Shawn Michaels against Shaq. Stage two featuring Shaq against New Jack. Stage three, New Jack against Billy Gun. Stage four, Billy Gunn against Ron Cena. Stage five, Ron Cena against El Grande. Then stage six sees El Grande go up against a local jobber before stage seven switches the focus over to the women with Victoria taking on the classic version of Trish, who you’ll then need for stage eight to complete the event. According to Wii, the Wrestlemania 41 version of Penta is scheduled to be the reward for stage 8, which requires the Trish Stratosaur 2 card, which is the only card in the event that isn’t DLC. While we don’t have any official details, it’s assumed that the rewards for each of the matches will feature unique cards that allow you to enter the next match, which in the case of Trish, may give players that own the DLC an easier way to get her Persona card rather than purchasing it from the card market. What I will add is that it’s important to note that the details of how to unlock Penta have yet to be confirmed by 2K, so we’ll have to wait for official confirmation. There’s still a chance that this may change. Staying with My Faction, to celebrate the release of the Saturday night’s main event pack, 2K have released a new locker code that you can redeem in My Faction for one basic Sinister Series 2 pack, one basic Hellfire pack, and one basic Monsters and Mayhem pack. To redeem the code, you’ll need to head into my faction and select the locker code option. Then enter the code SNME C L4 SS ICs. Once redeemed, you can open your card packs by switching to the store tab and then selecting the unopened packs option. When I opened the free packs, I didn’t get anything of note in the Sinister or the Monsters packs. However, I did get a good pull in the Hellfire pack. So, there are some good cards to pull, including some new personas if you’re lucky. Moving on to our next story, let’s talk WWE 2K25 Netflix edition. As posting on X, the Netflix sports account has released a new trailer for the game that showcases the first official gameplay with a tweet also revealing that players can now pre-register to play the game on mobile devices ahead of its upcoming release. To pre-register, all you need to do is search for WWE 2K25 in your local App Store, which should bring up a listing for WWE 2K25 Netflix edition, where you can then click the pre-register button to be notified once the game goes live. While the new Netflix edition is close to release, not all devices will be able to run the game as the requirements to play are pretty high. As if you’re on iPhone, for example, the minimum needed to run the game is an iPhone 15 Pro, which only came out around 2 years ago. So, if you’re on an older device, chances are you won’t be able to run it. For those that can run the game, according to the App Store, the game’s expected on November 19th, so we’re a little over a week away from its release. Something else that’s coming soon is the first official news for WWE 2K26 as on Friday 2K held their quarterly earnings call for investors where the big news was the delay of GTA 6 which is pushed back to November 19th 2026. While GTA 6 was delayed, WWE 2K26 was revealed to be on track for its upcoming release in quarter 4 of fiscal 2026, which is the period that runs from January 1st up to March 31st. Speaking on the game, 2K president call Slatoff stated the following. During the fourth quarter of our fiscal year, 2K and Visual Concepts will launch WWE 2K26, the next installment in our popular wrestling franchise. Since taking over the series, Visual Concepts has immersed players in the most intense and realistic action that the squared circle can hold, and WWE 2K26 will continue this legacy. 2K will have more to share about the game shortly. Call’s comments that 2K will have more to share about the game shortly have led to speculation that we could see some sort of teaser released once the final DLC is out. Though, given that we’re still waiting on chapter 5 of The Island and the release of 2K25’s Netflix edition, it’s likely 2K will wait for those to be released before promotion switches to 2K26, making it more likely that the promotion for the game will begin in January as it has in recent years. So, that’s the latest roundup of wrestling game news. Let me know what you make of it in the comments. And if you missed a previous video, there’s a new episode of Did You Know Up that features some brand new Easter eggs that hidden inside Triple H’s office. So if you missed that, I’ll leave a link to that on screen. Until next time though, thank you so much for watching this video. Have yourself an awesome day and I’ll catch you later.
