Best Character For DLC? Ironeye Strongest Build in Deep of Night – Elden Ring Nightreign
Hello there everyone. I hope you’re having an amazing day. As you know, yesterday they announced the release date of the new DLC. Just when I was very disappointed because many people said this was going to be released until March or something like that and I was like, “No way, bro.” Like what I’m going to do in all that time like doing the same, you know? It was not a like a great idea. But now that we know it’s going to be released very soon, like in just 3 weeks, I’m very excited to go back to this game. And I actually didn’t stop playing it like a lot. I just I think I just I was deciding to stop playing it after I released my analysis critique. But now with this, I I have recovered my faith in this game. So for that reason, I’m going to be climbing back into depth five. Hopefully that once the DLC is released, they also adjust the reward system of the deep of night mode so it’s more worth playing in depth five. But if they don’t do it, then I I’ll just drop back to one more reasonable difficulty. In the meantime, using the stuff we know and using the broken builds we already have with the things that we are that we know already, we are going to be climbing back to the five cuz imagine we are in depth tree and we try to climb back to death five with the new stuff. That’s going to be really tough. And as you know, I’m going to be using a very good build that I already showed you by night where we have the following effects. I have multiple videos explaining each one of these effects. What we are doing here basically is abusing the poison status effect with the kid of iron knight to get the most damage out of it. This is a very useful setup against most enemies, but it’s going to fall down a little bit against something that is invulnerable to poison like the sentient pest or any other enemy that is not affected by poison at all. But against the majority of enemies is going to be great. So with that being said, let’s jump straight into the run. So yeah, now that we know we are going to be having a new DLC in the first days of December, it’s very good to be prepared and not be rusty at all. So we are going to be grinding back this game. Bro, currently I am depth three. So we are not that far away from that f depth five. Honestly, I don’t think there is a reason I to do this because they didn’t say anything at all at all about reworking the deep of night mode. But I want to believe they are going to do something about it. So that’s why I want to grind back to the the five. Maybe they are going to drop a reward or something. I want to believe that. So let’s do it. Nice. Uh I think it’s clear now. Yep. So if if you are like me and you are actually excited once again excited about this game then uh and and you want to grind in the deep of night mode then take the iron eye bro. Take the iron eye. It’s actually the easiest any the easiest nightfire to use. After facing the abominations of the deep of night mode, I can say that this is the the savior bro. This guy I’m playing right now is the actual savior run. Nothing can go wrong. Bunch of things can go wrong actually, but at least you’re going to have more chances of surviving if something goes wrong, which is something you won’t have with other characters, bro. But you do with with Iron Eye. So, you better use the advantage of having a a character like this one cuz it really helps. Now, let’s see what this guy dropped. Improve magic attack power but near death reduces max HP. This is great. Projectile damage report reduce. I don’t think they stacked, but I I I I take a look to this. They should stack actually. Let me know in the comments if if they stack, bro, because I really don’t know. Now I need to upgrade my bow. But yeah, I wouldn’t like to face the troll at this level, but we have the cave close and it’s the closest location. We have to do something, you know. So if we don’t take it, it will be like wasting or potential, you know, or something. Um, mostly wasting time actually cuz we will have to travel all the way up to this cave. So I don’t think it’s a good idea. And the in the last expedition, we were very unlucky and we had the the freaking how is it called the trolls in the in the castle. And in this one, maybe we won’t. So hopefully we won’t get the trolls in the castle, guys. Now, speaking back about the DLC, it is great. It it it sounds amazing. We’re going to have two new bosses. Both of the new night lords look amazing. But honestly, I’m more excited about the one that has the skull in a very strange shape. It looks really insane and I’m very excited about facing that guy. So, I I really h have hopes on that one. I really have hopes on that one. Okay, this is huge. This guy is not cursed, so that’s that should be helpful. Now, let’s try to keep our distance. We don’t want to get destroyed by this fella. Watch out with the stamina. You don’t want to actually Oh, I didn’t know this guy was capable of doing that, bro. It’s the first time I see that attacking my playthroughs. Nice, bro. Get the crit hit. No, you cannot be serious, bro. This game is a lie, dude. I don’t know why I didn’t get my crit hit there, bro. But yeah, they they have that um the the then both of the new night lords look great, bro. They have that feeling that they are going to they are going to be really good. Improve range weapon attacks. Huge. Give me that. And give me my plus three stone. My items are in like in a competition of which one is the most useless, bro. No, actually the the healing ones are not that useless. If you if you don’t have other items and you are going to face a night boss, it’s actually useful to heal after facing with the normal enemies with the regular enemies that appear before a boss fight. So, no, it’s not that useless, man. It’s just not great. That is that is that’s it. But it’s not useless. Oh, wow. No way, bro. You can’t be serious. Yeah, maybe we don’t have the worst um enemies in the castle, but we won’t be able to face them because the ring is going to close in this way. Doesn’t matter. It’s all worth. That is something I love about this character as well that is very it has a huge adaptability. Like if something doesn’t go pretty well, you you have you still have a lot of possibilities. You’re not cooked. And uh with other characters that that is uh that that happens bro you are cooked if something goes wrong or if the game has a very bad RNG then yeah in those situations you you might be cooked but with this guy is that is the amazing thing about this guy is very versatile. It is extremely versatile actually and that is one of the most important uh features a character needs to have in order to survive the toughest situations. And look at what we have again. Trolls in the freaking castle. Wow. Unbelievable, dude. And the Well, actually, it is not that bad that we have the black blade kindred on top of the castle cuz with iron eye is pretty easy as well. The only image that I don’t think it’s good to have on top with iron eye is the is Loretta or or the or the death rebirth. But the rest of the enemies, including developer encounter, are just fine, man. It’s okay to have them. Let’s do it. Let’s take the risk, man. It’s worth it. Unfortunately, this guy is blocking all my arrows. So, that is not helpful at all. But once we connect the arrows, we should be fine. He’s backing off. I don’t know why he’s backing off. Okay, now I like when he does that that he blocks in a delayed way. I don’t know why that happens, but thankfully it does. Okay, now careful here. And remember to keep your distance. That’s the only thing you need to do here. If you keep your distance Oh my gosh, this guy. Please defeat him, bro. Oh, watch out. Watch out. Watch out. For some reasons, even if you use your ultimate, that guy is not going to get staggered sometimes. Sometimes. And that’s not cool, man. Okay. Okay. This might not be that bad, I guess. And yeah, speaking back about the night lords, it’s going to be it’s going to be fun. I’m interested on knowing how they are going to approach them, you know, in the sense that they I imagine they they are going to release the normal version of them and then we are going to have the ever dark version of those new night lords and they will be included in the deep of night mode. I think I really that is one of my concerns. Let’s say I really don’t care about the deep of night mode a lot. I really I really would like to have a better like um version of this game mode in terms of rewards and reasons to to play it. But when it comes to the new content, I really care mostly about how we are going to be facing that new content. Wow. Okay, just let me get safe and we fight. Okay. That was that was tough. All All good. All good. I end up in a very bad position. That happens sometimes. This is awesome, bro. I love when this guy gets confused and this happens. It’s really cool. I thought we pro rot for a second. I don’t know why. Oh my gosh, we are melting this fella, bro. Yeah, this enemy is easy with any character, but with Iron Eye is like twice as easy, bro. Oh, nice, nice, nice. Improve range weapon attacks. Improve fire attack power. I guess we can replace this one. Actually, I’m actually not sure if this one is stacks. Nights damage. I don’t know which one is worse. Knight’s tight damage increased or damage increased by night’s encroachment. I I actually have no idea which one is the worst one. This one has plus 100% and this one has plus one. I’m going to leave this one. I actually don’t know why I feel like having plus one is a little bit worse. Like it’s 100% only means double. I think it’s the damage we received by the knight. But the other thing I think it’s um I think it’s worst. Oh, here is interesting to know which one has the best poison build up. Okay, watch out. Yeah, I I only care about how we are going to be facing those new enemies, you I think it’s a it’s going to be pretty simple, but as what is going to be huge here is that as they are new night lords, we are actually going to have new distributions of the of the maps and maybe we are going to be getting more seats for the for the normal enemies we already have. That will be awesome because they now added as well enemies of the of the shadow of the earth tree. So maybe in the new expeditions we’re going to have some new maps or uh the same like this base map but with new shifting earth events and new enemies from the from the DLC. But in my opinion the best will be having at least five more maps for all the the the night lords with enemies of the of the DLC. like basically new maps, you know, basically new maps. But when it comes to the map design, bro, cuz they I don’t think they are going to add a new base map. I would love to see that, but they didn’t specifically said that. So, I don’t want to like fall into some sort of speculation, you know. Look, my bow is better than this one. But I think this one has a better poison build up. I cannot I don’t know, bro. I actually don’t know. It might. This is like a serpent bow or something. Yeah, serpent bow. So, it will make sense that it has more poison buildup. I hope so. Uh, is this a Oh, nice. We have a chariots. We can go there. It’s free. Free runes, man. And when it comes to the new night fighters, I’m really excited to see what are going to be the combinations we are going to be able to do with them, you know, because they are they they both look like a mix of dexterity and an intelligence or faith. They don’t look like that type of enemy that is based entirely on physical damage, you know, like a a wilder rider or guardian. Those enemy, those night lords are most about um physical damage. Iron eye and exeutor are mostly based on status effects. But yeah, we will see. We will see. That’s that’s why I’m really excited. The DLC, bro. Oh, that was a waste of power there. Oh, nice. The big boy is dangerous, but this one is more dangerous, bro. Oh, bro. What? I mean, the small guy is dangerous, but this one is more dangerous. No. Oh my god. Yeah, both Night Lords, I mean both new characters look like they are based on dexterity and some sort of magic power, you know, like intelligence or faith. The the guy looks like he’s designed to to deal some sort of holy damage. What I like of that guy is the special ability that makes the damage you deal on one enemy to be replicated on the other one. is similar to the dodges effect that increases your your damage. Uh that I mean that that uh that deals damage on the enemies that are close when you deal successive attacks with the dagger. I think that is one of the best effects of dodes, but it’s not that um useful uh compared to the other one other effects. But this but it’s really interesting. I mean that guy seems to work in a different way. Bro, why I didn’t trespass this guy? Bro, bro, this is so unfortunate. These enemies are supposed to be free, but sometimes it gets a little stupid. Thankfully, I didn’t die there, bro. That would have been so sad. Yeah, but these chariots drop uh a lot of runes for free. Oh, that was so bad, man. Oh, yeah, that was bad. Thankfully, I didn’t die there, bro. Oh, maybe here. Let’s go. It end up in a great position there, bro. Watch out. And let’s grab a reward quickly. I really don’t want to die here. Improve affinity. Attack power is not the best cuz we are not dealing affinity damage, but we can use it somehow. Now, I think I’m going to buy this from the merchant right now. So, we don’t have to buy it later. Protect power at full HP. I mean, no, I don’t think I’m going to be using this one. Because attack power at full HP against Gladius is is difficult. It’s complicated to to do that. I already defeated two minor enemies, man. Here is a that is a dragon, man. That is not cool, man. So, where I go? That is the question here. Uh I guess I’ll go here and then to the castle. The castle is actually my last option due to the trolls and stuff here. I have to climb a little bit. Yep. And yeah, those new night fighters look like they are going to be based in that type of concept. the the first one that appears in the trailer that attacks Hastel. It it is the one that makes me feel more excited because of the of that ultimate attack. It looked like a really powerful attack, but I didn’t understand what is exactly. It looked like some sort of a magic explosion or like special explosion, but it’s not like a very clear what it is. The other attack of the of the of the dudes. Oh, nice, nice, nice, nice. is the the magma worm. Yeah, the the special attack of the dude looks a little bit more fun, but I don’t think it’s it’s going to be that impactful against a boss fight. It’s going to be better against multiple enemies. Oh, and if as I think it’s going to it’s going to be designed specifically for that new boss uh with the angels because they are multiple. So maybe that is going to be the way, you know, to approach that uh that enemy. Are you serious, bro? You love to do that crap, man. Awesome damage, man. That’s insane, bro. No, I can’t. Are you serious, bro? I didn’t mark this guy, bro. Somehow I missed the mark. I have the multiple. I’m going to save it for a stronger enemy. Let’s go. Oh, let’s go. Physical attack up. Hell yeah, dude. Give me that. I guess I’m going to replace my my bow despite it has a little bit of more damage. But this one seems to proc poison faster. And then I replace this one cuz this one has improved range weapon attacks. I really think I think that is very important. I really don’t want to replace that. Now here we have a chariots as well, I think. But they are red, so they might drop more runes. But I have to be more even more careful cuz if I make a stupid mistake and I get hit by one of them, I will probably die. And we don’t want to lose time cuz remember in the castle we don’t have good stuff to farm. If if we had banish knights or crucible knights, that would be awesome, bro. The metric is designed to fall in the day too, but it happens too late that even if you want to go, it is it is going to be outside the safe area. So that is a a failure of design. So it’s nothing related to the to is it’s not properly designed because you are not going to be able to fight that because it’s outside the the safe area, bro. So it’s it’s not a good idea in general, you know. Yeah. Let’s finish first with the enemies and then we fight the troll isolated. Now, here the trick is just keeping your distance and maybe you’ll get some head shot and you can interrupt the attacks of this thing. Now, once he get close, just try to run away and keep doing the same strategy like similar to the hunter there. Don’t be afraid to use your your ability. Oh my gosh. And what I’m what I am really excited about is the new shifting earth event, man. It looks really well. If you saw the video where I explained the trailer and all the new things, it looks like Iritil of the Boreal Valley, bro. I think that is the name. I I actually haven’t checked if that is the actual name of that place, but I think it is. I think it’s I of the Boreal Valley and it’s a it’s a location from Dark Souls 3. And it look it looks a lot like that. It it also looks a little bit like the Ry Lucari Academy, but it looks mostly as I don’t know why. If they have more or less the same color scheme, I feel like the Ryuk I feel like the looks better than the Ray Lucaria. But that is some that is about preferences only. There is no such thing as one better than the other. But yeah, right. I really think it’s going to be a huge update for this game. I would like I really like to see some adjustments for the Okay, watch out here. I I need to look for the for Yeah, for this one. No. Oh my gosh. The camera for this guy. This guy is dangerous, bro. I guess I’ll go with stamina recovery speed. Okay, if we get the normal version, I’ll be happy, bro. Cuz the ever dark is is really tough. He’s a really tough enemy. The ever dark version of Gladius is really tough, man. It is merciless, bro. Okay, this is huge. I’m going to go with defense this time. I think we can buy this. And I can’t Oh, no. I can’t replace anything. So, we go like this. The cool thing about this game, some something I I didn’t mention in my in my previous video, and it’s something I love about this game a lot is that some sort of things stack. Like you can stack multiple physical physics, multiple of these things, wondrous physics. You can stack a lot of of them and and and some buffs. Oh, yeah. This is the normal version. Yeah, cuz the ever dark is already in that uh red form, you know. Yeah, the arena is red immediately when you’re in the in the ever dark. Ah, this one is a lot more manageable, bro. Now, here’s where it gets interesting. This is how this the ever dark starts. And here I like to use my ulti so I hit three of them at the same time. And the damage is so huge, bro. I know. Here the strategy is just backing off enough so they don’t surround us like crazy, you know. Oh, this is the slam attack, right? I always like to play passive in this phase because the game gets dirty, bro. Holy moly. And if you’re not careful enough, they are going to surround you in a very dirty way, bro. And the cool thing about this version of the boss fight is that it it only goes to this uh phase for one minute, bro. So, it goes back to the triple head version quickly, man. And here I just really don’t know how to dodge these stupid attacks. So I just like to kind of avoid it. Holy. I can heal here. That’s awesome. Oh, this attack is really dangerous in the Everdark version. I don’t know why they didn’t follow it up here, but I’m glad they didn’t, bro. Endeavor dark version. That thing is so broken, man. Okay. They are going back to this form. I They didn’t hit it, bro. Let’s go. Yeah, this version is it is like two opposite sides, bro. This version of this boss fight is easy and the other one is so freaking hard, bro. Like it’s two opposite things, bro. One is extremely easy and one is extremely hard, guys. Okay, so we are going to get back at the grinding to get into that five and hopefully and hopefully finding uh like a good reason to to to stay there, you know? I’m just going to grind back there while there is nothing new, bro. And hopefully they will drop some good reason to stay there, bro. If they don’t do that, then I’m I guess I’m going to stay here in the tree. I think it’s a very reasonable difficulty. From one to three is I guess it’s great, but when it gets to four and five is where it gets like a little stupid and getting no extra rewards is is not that great. But I’m really excited about the new content we’re going to be getting in less than a a month. It’s going to be less than 3 weeks or 3 weeks exactly. So, we’re going to be we’re going to be cooking this game. I’m going to be practicing my guardian abilities because I am really bad with guardian and I’m going to be practicing with the other characters I don’t know properly and with the boss fights I struggle with to get a to get good to actually get good in this game and be prepared for the DLC guys. I think this character among the new upcoming characters will be the best to dominate the DLC, Ironeye features the type of playstyle that lets you deal enough damage while being safe most of the time. So it’s a perfect nightfarer when it comes to facing new bosses, maps and enemies.
