HOW MUCH Money Will The MANSIONS DLC COST? GTA 5 Online Update
I know a lot of you guys are stressing about how much money you will need for possibly the most expensive ever DLC in GTA online. How much will these mentions cost? And how about the price of new vehicles? I will cover all that in today’s video. And the reason I’m doing this almost a month before the release date of December 9 is because you need this time to grind and make enough money. Also, because yesterday the teaser missions released, which will give us a huge discount on mentions to guesstimate the total price of this DLC, we will do some educated speculation. First, we have to look at how much the previous DLC’s costed. I will look at the previous five. These are all calculated without any upgrades to the vehicles and properties and also without the trade prices. It was around $30 million for the San Andreas mercenaries DLC back in 2023. This included 14 vehicles. The Chop Shop DLC, which was the December update in that year, costed $40 million for 16 vehicles and the salvage chart. Going into 2024, the bottom dollar bounties DLC was $48 million to buy everything. The most expensive update in the last 5 years was last year’s December DLC, Agents of Sabotage, being nearly $50 million. You could buy all 14 vehicles with that and the garment factory. The most recent DLC was this year’s summer DLC, the Money France update being right around $35 million. Only 10 vehicles were added, and the three businesses being the car wash, smoke on the water, and Higgins heli tours. From this, we can conclude that all these DLCs cost around $40 million, with the December DLC being more expensive than the summer DLC each year. Right off the bat, I could say that this December DLC will cost around $50 million. But let’s take a more in-depth look. We of course have to keep in mind that these are mentions. Think of anything more expensive than that. Mentions are by far the most expensive type of property in real life, and it will also be the case in game. To specifically guess the price of the mentions, we will take a look at the current most expensive items in G2 line, being the yacht for $8 million and the Gorge for $10 million. In my opinion, the base price for mentions should be between 10 and $20 million. Base price meaning without any upgrades and not factoring in a possible trade price we can unlock. By now, we know that we can unlock a $2 million discount for any mention and a free $1 million in cash. So, pretty much a $3 million discount cuz everyone is going to spend that extra million on mentions. I was thinking that we were getting a 5% or 10% discount. So, if we go off that, these mentions are going to be really expensive, like 20 to $40 million, cuz Rockstar typically doesn’t just give out money like that. Make sure you do these three easy missions before December 7, cuz that will knock off $3 million of the total budget you need for this update. Right now, these missions are also paying out double money in RP. and for GTA Plus members even four times money. So that’s an easy 3 to 400k. I think this is sort of an endgame update. So these mentions should literally have all the features like the master control center to manage all your businesses from one place, a gun locker, a money safe, quick travel options, and all that. Those upgrades could add an extra couple million dollars to the base price of 10 to $20 million. I know that a lot of you guys have hundreds of millions, so I’m hoping that we will be able to buy multiple mentions. I feel like we are able to buy multiple since they are kind of like apartments, but if there’s a business attached to it, we will only be able to buy one location. This would obviously change the total money you need for this update, but for my prediction, we will stick with one mansion. In my opinion, they should have different mention price categories. Don’t make them too cheap, but start with like 5 to 10 million, so players with less money can also afford to buy a mansion. And for the grinders and people with a ton of money, have a mention that’s like 20 to $50 million. It will probably not be that much better than the cheaper mansion, but it’s a flex. Then you know that only the richest players own that specific mansion. Not to mention a garage that in my opinion should be able to store like 50 vehicles. If it’s like the offices, we will need to purchase it separately, which will cost around$1 to2 million. In terms of vehicles, we know that Rockstar likes to trip feed them. So my guess is six to eight vehicles on day one with about seven other vehicles being dripfed till March. Since this is a mentions DLC, most of these vehicles will likely be luxury cars and supercars that are typically way more expensive than the other classes. Base prices of supercars are usually around $3 million. Fully upgrading them will cost you another 2 to3 million, making the total price above $6 million. Keep in mind that potential HSW vehicles will cost an extra 1 or2 million. Don’t forget about sport cars. I feel like they are adding about three or four new sport cars, which are less expensive than super cars, but still around $4 to7 million per car once they are fully upgraded. Luxury cars are typically less expensive than both Supra and sports cars. We may see a luxury SUV and a Rolls-Royce type of vehicle, being anywhere between 2.5 and $4 million with all upgrades. Rockstar will also release more cop cars that are $4 to5 million each. So, add another $10 million to the total cost. The police vehicles that we are most likely getting are the FIB Buffalo and Buffalo Patrol Car as well as the police helicopter, but they probably won’t release day one. They always like to trip feed police vehicles into the new year. So, like I said, add another 10, maybe $15 million to the total cost, closer to 10 for the three of them if you factor in the trade prices. What is a mentions DLC without a luxury jet, plane, helicopter, or boat? There’s a big possibility that one of these vehicles will release, which will cost you anywhere from $2 to $6 million. They also have to add luxury clothing, which will cost a lot more than you might think. If you go to the outfit section in a clothing store, there’s already a luxury category. Some of these outfits are even over $100,000. And these were released like 10 years ago. So, if they release new luxury themed outfits, like designer clothing, I’m guessing they will be$1 or $200,000 each. Let’s say they released 10 new outfits. You would need between$1 and $2 million to buy all the new clothing. So, my first guess was 50 million, but now that I added everything together, my prediction is between 45 and $55 million to buy everything in the mentions DLC. Closer to 45 million with trade prices and without trade prices around 55 million. So, this covers everything that they will release throughout the months for this update. Your day one budget to at least buy one mention and a couple fully upgraded cars should be around 15 to $25 million. So far, there are two confirmed mentions, but we don’t know if we can only buy one, two, or multiple. That would strongly change the total price for this update. If we can buy the two new mansions instead of just one, add another 5 to 10 million. We know that we are at least getting two mansions in two different locations. But what if we will also be able to buy existing mansions? I personally do think there will be a business attached to it. If we look at normal apartments, we could start heist there. I’m really hoping that we will get a new heist, although that may be unrealistic, but I’m definitely expecting that we will be able to start mansion themed missions from your mansion. So, one final summary to make everything clear. Your day one budget should be around $20 million, but do you want to literally buy everything in the update? Make sure you save up around $50 million. This will cover a mention or possibly multiple all the new vehicles including all upgrades and also the police vehicles as well as all the new clothing items. That way you can fully enjoy this amazing update coming to G2 online on December 9. And don’t forget to complete the teaser missions new listings to earn a huge discount.
