Babe wake up, Nightreign DLC got Announced
This is Night Rain. A few hours ago, they announced the Night Remain Forsaken Hollows DLC. You can see it’s going to be out here on December 4th. We got two new bosses. Whatever this is, this like multi-ene enemy fight. And then whatever this guy is. I think it’s like a guy on a horse. It’s kind of hard to see. Also, I forgot how ugly YouTube’s new UI update is. Why do the likes look like this? Why do they have individual fingers? Finally getting some more Shadow of the Urchery content. We got the divine beast. I don’t actually know where this is. It looks like he’s in the new shifting earth, which is the There it is. The great hollow. There’s some kind of like life draining effect going on here. Then we got two new night farers. The scholar academic who walks the lands between, boasting impressive arcane levels, gains incredible advantages through battlefield observation. So, this is probably going to be more like an arcane magic build using like blood flies and stuff. And then this one, the Undertaker, boasting impressive strength and faith. So, it’s going to be kind of like a paladin or a crusader kind of build, which I’m very excited for. I think this is the new character that I’m definitely going to play. And then also we got here it is Artorius. It looks like he’s going to be a night boss. I mean, he looks so goddamn sick. You can see that’s why I’m currently playing as him. Had to get into the theme. One of my biggest complaints about Night Rain is that they didn’t bring like any of the cool bosses from the older Souls games. Except you guys. You guys are cool. Like they brought back the gaping dragon and the centipede demon. They aren’t bad bosses. I would have even kind of wanted like the Taurus demon or something. And then we got like the fire monks here from Shadow of the Earth tree. What looks like some stuff from St. Trina’s kind of place with like the purple flowers. So yeah, that releases on the 4th of December. I don’t know what that’s going to do to like the Deep of Night rankings or anything. I imagine Deep of Night is basically just going to be the same. Been some time. You might have expected me to uh finally have upped my rank in Deep of Night. Nope. I’m right back where I started. In my defense, I did try to play a few games to get my rank up. Both of those games I got Everdark Sentient Pest and Everdark Augur, which might be two of my least favorite bosses in any video game ever made. Definitely has nothing to do with the fact that I died to both of them. All right, I’m just going to head in. What do we got? Gaping Jaw. I could probably beat Gaping Jaw as Exeutor the easiest, but I haven’t played Exeutor in a while. What if I’m Rusty? I’m going to do it. He’s my main character. It’s been a while since I’ve played him. I don’t even remember what my relics are. I think I’ve got like the blood loss kind of buildup thing going. So, I got the mountain top shifting earth, which means that it is useless. My god, wait, I actually forgot my controls. I’ve been playing Dark Souls 1. Oh, yeah, and I go invisible whenever like Frostbite happens nearby. Okay, I’m going to try to get my smithing stone pretty early. It’s one of the best things about playing executive is that blood loss is so strong that it doesn’t really matter what level you are. Oh [ __ ] but this guy’s red. Okay, well, this might suck. Like, look at how much damage I’m doing at level two. Crazy. And this guy’s red. He’s supposed to be buffed. almost makes up for his tiny health bar. Almost. I don’t know how much the DLC is actually going to cost. I think I heard somewhere that it’s going to be like $15. I think sounds pretty fair. I’m not 100% sure how much content is actually going to be in the DLC. I didn’t mean to do that. I’m very excited for any new enemies to spawn around the map. Like, new night lords is cool. Yeah. What the hell? Wait, these guys did so much damage to this abductor. These guys have just been putting in work behind the scenes. Serpent bone blade. Excessive attacks negate damage. That’s actually pretty good. Also, the poison. Wait, do I have the ever jail relic? I do. Okay, so I should probably be doing that. What’s in here? Something I can fight. It’s going to be scary. And I don’t have a lot of time to stick around here. Status effect. It’s fine. Ow. What the [ __ ] happened? No. Okay. Let me let me I’m trying I’m trying to Hold on. Hold on. Go away. I know a portal with the birds. I don’t know what it is. If it was like a recent update or something or if anyone else has been having this issue, but randomly my frame rate is just tanking like crazy and I have no idea what it’s from. Right now it feels fine. Right now it’s normal. And then suddenly there’s like a random spike. What is this? Grave warning duelist. I’m never not happy to see you. Oh my god. Wait. Perfect. Honestly, as long as I don’t mess up on the day one or day two, I should be able to do this. For me, Adele is just like the easiest boss cuz I’m so used to his move set. Even if he’s the Everdark version, his move set itself doesn’t change very much. I’m going to buy a Wending Grace a little bit early. I didn’t mean to do that. God damn it. I need to turn down the sensitivity of my triggers. What we got? Oh, not this one. [ __ ] I hate this one. More specifically, I hate this jackass. This guy might be one of my least favorite dudes ever. Top 10 worst dudes. This guy. This spider bleed. I think the spider can. Although, actually, I should be able to proc Frostbite on these spiders and then go invisible. Yeah. God, I forgot how good executive feels to play. There we go. Easy. I’ll take the rain while walking. Got I don’t want to put anything into the universe here, but this run is going deceptively well and I’m a little bit afraid. I think I’ll just head for the castle now. I want to try to fight some field bosses, but I got to stop taking risks. I’m so tempted. I I can’t, dude. I want to so bad, though. I can’t do it. I’ll throw away the run. That’s one of the things I don’t like about Deep of Night is I feel like there’s no room for any risks at all. If I deviate from the path even a little bit, the run is dead. I didn’t know the Okay, you know what? Never mind. [ __ ] Rivers of blood improve physical damage negation. Damage increased by night’s encroachment. As the day draws to its end, take more damage. Does that account for day three? improve physical damage. Although repeated evasions lower damage negation. Okay, I got to be really careful here to make sure that I’m not spam dodging. We got a a world one loss. [ __ ] [ __ ] Okay, I hate fighting this guy so goddamn much. There’s not a single soul on planet Earth who enjoys fighting the ancient dragon. I’m going to die. Boss fight. Oh [ __ ] I’m spamming dodge. I just forgot. Oh my god. Okay, I’m doing this with the heavy attack. Go. Come on. Oh my god. You know what? [ __ ] you. Jackass. What do we got? Increased max HP. I think I definitely got to take that. Got some really good passives. A lot of stuff for physical damage negation, but I also got a lot of bad stuff like repeated evasions lower damage negation. I don’t know if this damage increase by night’s encroachment is still a thing. As the day draws to its end, damage taken increases. So, that doesn’t mean the later on in your run. That just means the later on in the day. Technically, right now, I’m at the start of day three, right? So, I shouldn’t be taking any extra damage. check. Get the level 14. Get an extra Wending Grace. Get some crab. If it’s not the Everdark version, I should be good. It seems like you get the Everdark version of bosses more than you get the regular version in Deep of Night. I feel like I’ve had probably about 10 runs that were not Everdark bosses. I also feel like you should get more rank points if you’re going up against an Everdark boss. There’s no reason I should rank up the exact same amount for fighting non- Everdark Gladius as I would Everdark Libra. All right. Is this going to be the Everdark version? I’ll be able to tell based on the music. It’s the regular version. God, I’m such a virgin. Okay, it’s been a little bit since I fought this guy, though. So, good. Scary poison boss fight. Oh no. Doesn’t that mean though that if I do win this run, I get like extra points? There’s actually a way higher chance that I die to the Nameless King than I do Dark Drift Knight. Not having any map info kind of sucks, but is not like the end of the world. Not all map information is gone. It’s just like the randomized things. Can’t see where all the forts are or the churches, but I can still see where the ever jails are cuz they’re in the same spot every time. I’m going to try to clear out this magic fort. Wow. Okay. Probably the easiest fight in this game. I’ve been doing a casual Dark Souls run. And so I fought the gaping dragon again. So much more difficult in Dark Souls 1. Those wonky ass 2011 hitboxes. There we go. Improved dodging. Definitely going to take that. Ooh, there’s an ancestor spirit here. I just want to fight more bosses. I’m tired of fighting Crucible Knights in the castle, man. I want some variety. Also, I want to try to get the dragon scale blade if possible. I need to get some kind of lightning weapon going here. Come on. [ __ ] Oh my god, he killed me. I should not have tried to do a power t. That was dumb. I’m like the first person to ever die to this [ __ ] I don’t know why his AI gets like super bugged in this spot. I think what’s going to happen is I’m not going to get any lightning weapon. I’m calling it right now. I will not get a single lightning weapon, and it’s going to be what kills me. This is weird. This might be one of the best runs I’ve ever had on Deep of Night. Okay. Uh, I think I just got to leave. It’s not worth. I was able to kill two of the Crucible Knights, but I got insane drops from them. I don’t even know what lightning weapon to use. Level 14. Telling you right now, I’m going to get Nameless King, and he’s going to [ __ ] my entire day. Okay, what do we got? Please. Ah, [ __ ] All right, it’s Nameless King. This is it. The enemy has arrived. Just got to be very cautious. Easily the hardest night boss in the entire game. And it’s probably more difficult than Folder himself. Okay. [ __ ] Frostbite. Oh no. Oh jeez. Oh [ __ ] Oh, that hurt. No, don’t kill me. Holy [ __ ] Come on. Okay, now the actual fight. I’m going to do this. A little bit risky, but Fight. Holy [ __ ] I don’t know why he’s swinging in the sky. Leave. Oh my god. That insta killed me. It’s fine. We’re fine. I don’t care. Holy [ __ ] Good. I need to not die cuz I will lose my wind to grace. Oh no. Well, I lost my wind to grace. God damn it, dude. Uh I should have just used my I got There’s no way I need to use my That’s [ __ ] insane, dude. actually almost lost the entire run right there. Well, I’ll only have one Wending Grace for the fight. I’m actually going to drop this dragon scale blade cuz it doesn’t do lightning damage unless I do its ash of war. Doesn’t really have any good buffs and slower art gauge when below max HP I feel like is kind of scary. Use this lightning grease and then I’m just going to go for it. Oh god, I’m nervous. Everything in this run has been so good. I would be so sad if I lose this. Okay, is it the Everdark version? I think I’ll spawn in his second phase. It’s not. Okay, I think I’m good. Don’t be an idiot. I’m being an idiot. Why am I dumb? I am the worst Night Rain player ever. Okay, huge damage. This go boss. Oh my god, I almost messed up. Play it real safe. Especially cuz it wasn’t the Everdark version. I I would have to delete my channel in shame. I am making some crazy bank. I didn’t even notice. I hope they add more skins with the DLC to buy. Oh yeah, I got plus 300 because the map information was missing. All it takes is one bad run where I die on like day one and I lose all of my progress, but I just have to not think about that too hard. Okay, last two runs have gone very well. I want to try to play a different character. Give me something not stupid. Well, this is just boring. God damn it. I don’t want to fight the same boss in the same video. You know what? [ __ ] it. I’ll be honest, I don’t really like the rotted woods that much cuz I’m not very good at it. Especially in deep of night cuz fighting bosses is rough. I died to that guy. God, Raider is so [ __ ] bad. I need to be looking for churches, though, cuz that’s the only thing that I’ll really need out of this, cuz the crater is basically going to carry this entire run. Go easy. What is this [ __ ] man? The second day two starts, you kind of just want to go directly for the crater cuz there’s a chance that like the fire prelets guarding the way might be like red. Upgrade my sword. This thing should carry me for most of the run. Unless I find something like really good. Ooh, dragon crest tailsman. I need something to fight, man. There’s like nothing around here. I got to fight something in here. What the I didn’t think you could get over here. You know what, [ __ ] What the [ __ ] is happening? This is such an awkward place for the storm to spawn cuz there’s literally nothing over here. There’s nothing I can fight. I just got to kill these guys, I guess. Scepter of the all knowing. I haven’t gotten a single Everdark boss this entire video. If the first one you give me is Everdark Gladius, I’m going to be so upset. It’s not looking terrible. I don’t have amazing weapons. I didn’t even get a single holy weapon. Improve critical hits by 24%. Got really good talesman’s. I mean, if the arena is not orange, this is a free win. Jesus lives. Oh, baby. I’ve just had a crazy lucky streak. stupid. You may seem stupid. No. What’s going on? All this stuff hits. All right, I’m going to use my ultimate here. I think right here. Perfect. Oh [ __ ] bro.
